I understand you blokes want yourself a place to just yap and be yourselves, so here go. As always, be good, punctuate, and feel free to use all the jargon you can. Always love me a little Jargon.
Anywho, how you likin' the guild thus far?

Pushing Daisies It is fairy-tale style but it is a fast-talking detective story as well. Seen it?

I'm going to say I haven't seen it. Where could I get a copy? I admittedly don't watch a whole lot of stuff anymore, I find reading a bit better and easier more often.

http://www.hulu.com/search?page=1&query=pushing+daisies&sort_by=air_date Start with Season 1 ep 1, the second season won't make sense if you don't start at the beginning. It will probably be better watching it online with pause and rewind unlike how I saw it, on TV. http://www.thewb.com/shows/pushing-daisies/pielette/a0b87fae2b That is the first episode. It is an odd show but it is attention grabbing. Odd, this episode won't play for me. I'm not sure why it won't.
Edit: It works in my other browsers, just not my firefox.

I'll look into it later. I'm quadruple tasking right now, so I don't think I could pay attention, enjoy it, or that my computer would cope.

"Ya, mine, or my internet, is just barely doing alright. I was watching it, you may want to make sure your computer volume is all the way up and just adjust the video's sound as needed. It gets really quiet during some of the speech."

Thank you. That's quite reassuring, actually. Also, it makes my guild more active. If there's a specific you want to chat about, always feel free to make a new thread.

That was what I was going for. Making your guild more active, I mean.

That show just happens to be this dame's favorite show still on television. I watched it without fail. Then it got canceled. Now, I console myself with watching it on DVD. Sorry, it's hard to use jargon when chatting of tv shows.
Why do my favorite (all detective) shows get canceled? My long-standing favorite TV show of all time is Veronica Mars, canceled after three seasons. Anyone else love it?
Here's my TV quote, in period gumshoe jargon. "The dame was stuck on the sleuth story Psych. She was glued to it like fake nails on a cheap hooker's fingers."

I like how they ended Pushing Daises. I thought it was canceled after last season, but was thrilled when more episodes appeared.
That last episode seems like a regular episode, with the end just wrapping everything up. Like reading half a book, running out of time, and reading the last few pages. It sucks it was canceled but a set of episodes that messily and in a clearly rushed way wrap it up would be worse. The way it is they could go back and fill in the gaps, unlikely, but possible.

DON'T TELL ME HOW IT ENDS! I've watched all of the episodes (even the after-aired ones) except the final one. I have it recorded. I can't wait to watch it.

Sorry, I was trying to be vague. I'll white it out and just say that I don't think that it was a horrible end.

Thanks. There's definitely something wrong with me, I keep forgetting to watch it!! Hopefully I will get to see it soon.
