Gold Rush!




This is probably the most simple of contest that we will be hosting in this thread! Gold Rush will require no other expertise other then proper hoop jumping! xd This means that what ever we want you to do, you'll just have to do it to earn the prize...

Ooh, looks like everyone's waiting for the Gold Rush! Time to tell you what old JB has in store! biggrin

For this first Gold rush we start off with a Color-off! I'll post 2 pictures about BOWBS and you guys color it as best you can!

The deciding days for the colored drawings will be from: April 9th to May 9th

And the winners will be revealed on the 15th of May.

Drawing Board




In this contest we call on the artists to come and participate. This contest will almost always involve art from the participants, so show off your skills for varied prizes. They can be gold, items, a cameo in the manga or an art trade from Bella... don't forget to read the rules. biggrin

Hello all and welcome to JB's Drawing Board Extravaganza!

Now, you might be thinking, what will this insane manager want out of me this time? Well, I'll want drawings... duh. This first contest will ask of your amazing illustrative talents in creating a BOWBS Style Group picture!!! xd

Here are the rules:

• Theme: GROUP PICTURE!
  
• The size: Images must be of 600x600 pixels max
  
• The subject: The fab five all together while taking a picture!!
  
• Mediums: Free for all! It can be colored or black & white.
  
• Contest dates: From April 1st to May 20th! Images will be judged on May 25th!

Prize: The drawing that completes the following criteria the best will win the prize: Free Belladona commission

Criteria: Originality, happy scenery, likeness to characters (this doesn't mean the same style of drawing as Bella! This just means that you get the details of how we look down, like Alba's scar or Bubbleh's horns, etc.) character personality, (Make it obvious that you've read the manga and know the characters) and cleanliness (You can submit a drawing in pencils but do not expect me to give you a good grade if there are grease marks on it! xp )

Directives for submission: When you have completed your drawing post it on this thread. Image, name of artist and contest must be quoted.

Write to win!


All writers out there now is your time to shine! This contest will request the your ability to manipulate words! We present a varied amount of challenges from prose writing to poetry, script writing, song writing and much, much more!

Your prizes will also vary from gold to items, art commissions or a cameo in the manga. biggrin

Our last contest was a bit of a flop but as new BOWBS Guild members appear I feel it's time to fight the good fight and let those pens and keyboards fly!! xd

Got a great sense of humor and rhymin' skills that make your peeps go: Oooh! Well, then this is just the challenge for you! What we want is a funny poem about BOWBS. Yes, it can be about any of the main characters or events that have happened in the manga.

It's all your call but it has to be: HILARIOUS!

Here are the rules:

• Theme: BOWBS Comedy Poem!
  
• Format: Iambic Pentameter 2-3 paragraphs of 2 to 5 stanzas
  
• Censorship No curse words can be used in your entry.
  
• Amount of submissions: 1 submission per person.
  
• Contest dates: From April 10st to May 10th! Entries will be judged on May 12th!

Prize: The poem that completes the following criteria the best will win the prize: full body lineart from Bella for the first place winner!, Waist up Lineart from Bella for the second and Headshot lineart from Bella for the third.

Criteria: Originality, comedic value, good timing, properly submitted formats, theme, flow.

Directives for submission: When you have completed your entry, post it on this thread: name of participant, carol being used, your entry in stanza format( that means the when ever there's a break in the song, you should *press enter* and break the line. contest must be quoted.

If ever you wanted some art you should go
To a little shop in Towns that I know.
There’s a guy with a scar and a headband on his face,
Alba’s his name and advertisement’s his place.

Another worker is a romantic of sorts;
Stories Josh writes, and women he courts.
And then there’s Bubbleh, with her little horns.
When she arrived, a new colorist was born.

But one of the most favorite characters of these,
Is the wacky manager, a.k.a.: J.B.
And last, but not least, the artist can’t be left out;
Bella completes the group called “B.O.W.B.S.”

It was the only entrant... so she won. lol. but it was also a well deserved win! Congrats Mura!
