Alright, ya gumshoes and wrong letters, dames and gees, ladies and gents. I want to get to know each and every one of you. So this thread is for yappin' about yourself. Whatcha do, whatcha like, whatcha don't liike, who you are, and what you're about. You can also come 'round here anytime you need to meet new people, or brush up on old faces as well.
To start off, my name is Bullet. Tracer Bullet. I'm a PI. It says so on my door. I keep two magnums in my desk. One's a gun and I keep it loaded. The other's a bottle and it keeps me loaded. I'm a professional snoop, because snooping pays the Bills. Especially Bill, my bookie, and Bill, mmy porbation officer. And yes, that's mostly a quote. Now, to get to the real me, I've been fascinated with folks like Sam Spade and the 60's gangster scene since my early years, and my fascination evolved to obsession, until the point I joined Gaia and opened this guild. I like a good bottle o' juice, a roscoe to shoot, and dame to keep my company. Basic needs of any man, I think.
Feel free to post below, and use whatever form of posting you need, either a paragraph like I did, a form sheet with Name, Likes, Dislikes, and the bit, and / or any other information you feel like we should know. Most importantly, have fun.

Details. It's always the details. Those were the last words my father, my ex-cop father, said before he took three to the chest in a drive by. Ever since I brought down the three fools who were in that vehicle it's been my job making sure there aren't people out there killing your loved ones. Truth be told though, my job always comes after.
My name is Ryven. The last name is never the same; not safe to keep it. I don't carry a gun. A knife does just as much. You'll not see my eyes uncovered; I wear my glasses so that I can observe the eyes of my suspects. You'd be amazed at the things given away in the eyes of a man with something to hide. I never drink. Too many people would be glad to slip one of my own weapons into my gut while I'm inebriated.
Really though, I love detective shows. I'll admit that I watch more of the CSI and Mentalist kind of detective shows but the oldies have a definite special place in my heart.

Excellent, Tracer. Nice to meet you, and it's nice to see that you already have a character and a backlog drawn up. You'll be more than ready when The Game and RPs get going.

There's something truly great about old, hard core mysteries that keep the feminist in me quiet, even with all of the objectifying gazes. I love the fast-talking, chain-smoking, alcoholic but extremely glamourous world of crime-solving debauchery. My all time favorites are the Thin Man movies and books. Maybe because there's more ladies in the mix.
Now how's about you gentlemen rustle me up a drink?

Thanks. Like I always say, it's five o'clock somewhere. -And I'm psyched to be here. Hey, can I be the resident "dame"? I just want a title.

Sure you can, Cassanovella.
-bestows title upon you, with much epic win-
You are now the official resident dame. It's so hard to find a good dame these days...

Thanks. Now we just need a cocktail named after me... My friend likes your "epic win". Nice juxtaposition. Yes, I just used the word juxtaposition. This dame's got a thing or two kicking around in her noggin.

What a nice noodle ya got there. Pretty and smart, deadly combo.
As for the cocktail, I'll leave the genesis o' the matter up to you. Straight Vodka's my booze o' choice, and that stuff's not for tasties, so I got no ideas. My first suggestion is mix vodka with vodka, but I think I've seen that cocktail before.
And for juxtaposition, you earn my respect, all over again dolly.

It's hard to be a broad in this business, but the business is information and information is my business. If I want to know something, or if I'm getting paid to find out, then there ain't nothing that can stop me. Except maybe a guy if his eyes are pretty enough and he buys me a drink, but that's more of a temporary stall. In the end there's only two guys for me, Ben and Jerry Smith and Wesson.
That, or I just love old timey detectives, my favorites being Nick Charles/The Thin Man, Sam Spade, and Charlie Chan (not to mention a few that I'm forgetting). Either way really!
And I can't BELIEVE I missed out on being the first broad in here! O well, at least I know I'm not alone.

Names Legendary detective Lawli, friends call me L, and so may you. I play the intelligent, yet somewhat street smart side of detective work, with no idea of how people work. Yeah, I'm all strategic and thought out, then some tosser does something I don't predict, I suck with people.

This is true. I'd have written that up last night, but I was temporarily stalled...O well!
Sweet, another new face. Howdy there, L.
