Trim, shave, or wax. I've heard waxing is really painful (though it works well from what I've been told), so I just shave.

I shave mine, but there are a lot of things I do to prevent ingrown hairs and irritation too. It's a large process for me, so make sure you want to do it first.

I shave my bikini line and then trim the rest. I used to water down baby oil and then shake it up and put a tiny bit over the area I shaved. Now, I just use a little lotion.
Everyone is different though.

I just trim it down so that you don't have to worry about dirtiness. If I'm going swimming then I might shave on the sides where it would be visible. Generally you can do whatever you are comfortable with.

I just shave around my bikini line. Shaving it all sounds like a pain, plus ingrown hairs...so I just don't go there. If it's really crazy you can just trim it down to keep it from going nuts.

Well it probably never sees the sun, you know wink
Most people have darker pubic hair than head hair. Sometimes red-heads and blondes are that color all the way down, but not all.
Also, it's shorter, and that makes the perception of growing faster smile I shave most of my hair off these days, and it 'grows faster' wink

Personally, I hate shaving. I tried it a couple times and got a horrible case of razor burn. Try sitting for three hours when your v****a area feels like it's on freakin' fire. sweatdrop
So that was the end of that. I just trim now. Every couple weeks, I will just take scissors into the shower with me and cut the hair until it's a bit shorter than my pinky nail length. Shorter and it starts to itch.

If you just want to keep it under control, I would trim it. It's easy enough and keeps everything clean and nice. Shaving, in my experience, is an unpleasant pain in the a**, and it also looks gross. xp

I shave about every 2 weeks or so. My hair doesn't grow all that fast. I also use a hair minimizing lotion after I shave.

I trim mine and, on special occasions, I'll shave but I don't usually.
As for it feeling wirey...use conditioner. I remember hearing it on the radio talk show (Hawk and Tom) and they were saying that it makes the hair, not silky, but decently soft.
I've done it and my hair is actually soft down there now. I don't use soap anymore.
"I just think that, where ever theres hair, you should use shampoo and conditioner." --Tom
It also makes trimming and shaving easer too. 3nodding

I shave occassionally, but I get really irritated afterwards. What can you do for that?
