It was... beautiful.
Magnus Vis stared out into the distance, watching the waters as the waves splashed towards the shoreline, some of them making it to the shore and splashing his feet just the slightest bit. Did they ever end? They were in the middle of infinity in the sky, and Magnus couldn't help thinking that they were still in the middle of infinity, just with the slightest change in scenery from light blue to dark blue.
And yet, somehow, this was prettier than the infinite sky had ever been. Magnus shrugged all of his thoughts off, deciding he was being all too serious, and instead opted to sit down in the sands and keep staring out into the ocean of infinity, bottle in one hand. He lifted the bottle to his lips and took a rather large gulp of the red liquid inside before setting the bottle back down. ...Considering Magnus' typical behavior, he was oddly calm at the moment.
Of course, this was also the first time he had taken the time to reflect on what had happened in the past month or so. Suddenly, his life had gotten a lot more interesting, and while he wasn't one to necessarily care, even a chaotic being like Magnus needed some time to take in everything, from the infinite water to the unusual yearning to see someone that he couldn't make any sort of sense out of, not even out of illogical reasoning. Magnus shook it off. Wanting to see people was natural, right? He wanted to have his brother, Texas, around, that didn't mean anything...
Magnus shook his thoughts off. Texas must have been rubbing off on him with his rational nature.

Haru had been wandering the isle for quite some time now. Everything was different, but not. He wasn't quite sure what to think about it. Did he like the changes? He would have to see.
He was close to the beach and sighed at the sight. "Wow." It was beautiful to look at. He always thought the Fae Clearing was the most beautiful place, but now this ranked up with it. Haru didn't notice Magnus right away, he just walked to the edge before he almost tripped over him.
"Hi." He said to the beautiful fae. He hadn't stopped thinking about him since their date and was quite happy to see him here. "Beautiful place to see a beautiful fae." He smiled and sat next to him as he looked out at the water.

Magnus didn't quite notice Haru either, going back and forth between letting his mind ponder and letting it wander while he seemed to be watching the peaceful waves of the water. At some point in his strange internal debate, Magnus decided his throat felt dry because of how heavy the air was outside and reached down to pick up his bottle again, only to hear the voice of the nymph that he so wanted to see.
Oh, good, a distraction. Magnus sipped a bit more from the bottle before placing it down on the side of him that the pink nymph wasn't sitting on. "Haru!" Magnus' voice sounded unusually excited, even if he only had a simple smile on his face. "I didn't expect to see you here." But he was certainly welcome. The faerie, as sponetaneous as usual, decided to kiss Haru on the cheek before glancing out to the water again as if he hadn't done a thing. "It is pretty, isn't it? I'd dare say it rivals the clearing." Of course, at this point, it would take quite a showing for something to defeat the ranking of the Fae Clearing in his mind for... several reasons.
After a few moments, he then commented, "So I guess we know why it was so windy for a few days there now." He assumed everyone had come to the same obviously correct conclusion as he, Texas, and that demonic tiger had. "The isle went through some sudden shifts." They had been shifts that even left the faerie, who loved chaos, bothered enough to go find himself some answers. "Have you seen the volcano yet?"

Haru blushed at the quick kiss. He smiled and nodded as he looked out on the waves. He wasn't sure what to think about Magnus, he had deep feelings, but...better not to think now.
"Yeah, everything is different." He was put a hand on the sand and felt it in his fingers. It felt cool, cooler than the sand at the lake. So, weird. "There's a volcano? Wow, no." He turned to face Magnus and smiled a wide smile. "Can I get some of that?" He nodded to the wine. He wanted to try some, although he wasn't going to be up to Magnus' standards yet.

Magnus nodded, before cringing at the memory of the volcano. "It smells awful anywhere near the volcano. It seems to be somewhere in Dragnid, which is good because I prefer Loka Nei myself." That was, of course, mainly because of the Fae Clearing, but that was another story entirely. Magnus hadn't actually minded Dragnid until something repulsive decided to suddenly appear over in that general direction. Now he was content with the northern side of the isle...
Really? Haru wanted his alcohol? Magnus looked wearily at his wine and then back to Haru. Despite being fond of the man, Magnus was still awfully greedy and possessive and Haru had asked for it, Magnus hadn't offered! He needed an excuse for that to be a bad idea... Aha! "Haru, this stuff has got a lot more alcohol in it than the stuff at the picnic you tried the other day. I wouldn't advise it." It was weird for Magnus to recommend against anything considering his variety of behaviors, but the way he furrowed his brows showed at least some sincerity in his statements.
And it wasn't a total lie, either. Magnus had recently gotten into making himself his own alcohols, mostly a couple different wines from the vines he was growing in the grassy patch in his backyard. He had found a strange stone back there the other day, but he hadn't taken the time to figure out what that meant, either..

"Really?" He wondered why it would smell awful? If that was true then he really didn't want to go there. "That is good." Haru liked that forest a bit more as well. He hadn't had a good vibe from the other one.
"Oh, ok." That was probably a good idea. He probably be drunk from one sip and he didn't really want that. He turned to look out at the waves. He wondered what Magnus was like actually drunk. He smiled to himself and shook the thought away.
"So, how have you been?" He asked the fae. He actually cared a bit for Magnus which was pretty unusual for him. He really only cared about himself. He didn't understand his feelings so he tried not to think on them for very long.

Should he be honest or lie about it? Well, Haru actually seemed genuinely concerned and that didn't seem to fit his personality; Magnus decided that he would be honest this time. "Eh. Confused. All of these changes are a little unnerving." And it wasn't only the isle he was referring to. Why did he want to see Haru so badly, and why hadn't that same nagging need gone away now that Haru was right there? If he felt like seeing Texas, he was content once he saw him! And this nagging feeling didn't feel good. Magnus lived for pleasure and this feeling was... not it.
After a few moments of quieting himself, he asked, "And you?" It was equally as weird for Magnus to show concern for anyone except, maybe, his elder brother Texas, but the sincere look from earlier and the way he was actually returning the question showed that he was genuinely interested, too. Strange.
The faerie suddenly turned his attention back to his bottle of wine and popped it back open before taking a rather large sip and putting it back down. The intoxication fae drank wine like it was water. He set the bottle back down next to him and then, just as suddenly as he had shifted his attention, he turned back to Haru and leaned in close. "Hm?"

Haru thought about it a bit before answering. He wasn't quite sure what to think about the isle or their last date. He closed his eyes and remembered how nice it was and a smile appeared on his face.
"The Isle is different, but I hope I can get used to it." He opened his eyes and watched the fae drink his alcohol. "It's nice to be on the ocean. It's like paradise." Haru could deal with paradise.

Paradise was nice, true. Perhaps the isle falling from the sky wasn't such a bad thing, though he still wasn't fond of that new volcano ruining the other side of the isle. Who could possibly like something that smelled so much of sulfur? "I'm sure it'll be easier to adjust to with time; it was just so sudden that a lot of people were confused by it." Including him, which was why he decided to go on an adventure with Texas in the first place to figure out what exactly had happened outside.
"Besides, paradise is a good thing." So it was humid out. The scenery was almost as beautiful as the pink nymph in front of him. Not bothering to question why he thought Haru was prettier than the infinite ocean, Magnus kissed Haru's cheek again before staring back out into the ocean, once again acting like absolutely nothing had just occurred between them and instead paying attention to the last of what was in his wine bottle. It was humid out, so Magnus decided to drink the rest of the cool substance to cool himself down a bit more.

"Oh, yes I'm sure. It's odd to wake up and be in the ocean." Haru nodded and agreed. Everyone would probably love it in time, but right now it would just take time to love it. That was true of most things in life.
Haru blushed at the second kiss. He let his hand land on Magnus', but tried not to ruin the nice moment they were having. "Yes, paradise is a very good thing." He figured he could survive paradise, he was in it when he was with the fae anyway.

Magnus, an impulsive man who didn't particularly question what he wanted, decided that it was a good idea to take Haru's hand in his own and let their hands sit there. He wasn't sure why it was a good idea, but it certainly made the weird feeling in his gut lessen just a little, and anything that made that feeling go away was a plus in Magnus' book.
"So," he asked, turning back towards Haru. "Anything else interesting happen?" The faerie felt like he wanted to scoot closer... so he did. Why not? "Not much on my end, really, 'sides for this." 'This' was a vague term, and while it could probably be assumed he was referring to the new land, it was hard to tell if that was the only thing he was talking about.

Haru blushed just a bit more as his hand was taken and Magnus scooted closer to him. He was happy he did that and on his end scooted closer to where now their bodies touched, just a bit. Haru like the feeling of being close to him.
"Anything else?" Haru pondered, other than the isle, or them... "Not really." He wasn't about to tell him that after their last meeting he couldn't really think straight. No need to tell any of that.

Haru was blushing? It was certainly an odd sight. While Magnus was used to the man being giggly, he obviously wasn't drunk, and the red that painted the bold man's cheeks was a little confusing to Magnus... but then he decided it wasn't worth questioning. "Well, at least life isn't boring." Even if the fall had been the only thing that happened, it had still been quite a thing.
Did he really need to talk? No, actually, the silence felt fine. At the same time, talking to Haru could only make things better, right? And Magnus was all for feeling better. "You meet any of those faun things yet? Texas picked one up, named him Vangelis."

"No, definitely not boring." Haru showed his true nature and giggled, his blush receded until it was gone. It hadn't been boring for a while, which was good. He liked the excitement.
"Faun? No, what's that?" He hadn't heard or seen anything that called itself a faun. Was it pet? "Texas got a pet?" He asked with a questioning look. It had to be a pet, right?

Magnus shook his head in response. "Nah. Apparently, they're like satyrs or something, from myths of some sort. They've got hooves, are furry, and have trees growing out of their heads like this." He took his free hand and put it on his head, before moving it upwards to show that the 'trees' were rather tall. Then, he shook his head. "Their leader is a pompous a**, though."
While Magnus didn't care about his reasons, he did know that Rais asked too many questions and was quicker to judge things than anyone else he had ever met... therefore, he was an a**. "Apparently they're born from acorns from some big tree with a long name, like naiads are born from glowing pearl egg things."
