Kaosu had no idea what he had gotten himself into.

That first night, alone together on the balcony... Kao never would have imagined it could have turned into this. He had expected Trystan's and his summer romance to end promptly. More precisely, the morning after. However, there was something about that kid that had stopped him from sneaking off. That had convinced him a few extra days could not hurt. Those extra days transformed into weeks. Time flew. Before he knew it, he woke up one evening and realized that he had been living with the guy -sharing his meals, his conversation, and even his bed- for over two months. Sure, every now and then he had wandered off to return to the wastelands, but in the end, he always came crawling back. Somehow, despite his eccentric personality -despite all the odds- Kao had been tamed. He was like a stray turned house cat. He had become perfectly content to laze around the house. He hated the "dog" -Crux- but he had learned to ignore its presence. Above all else, he was desperately, hopelessly attached to the land lord. The hand that fed him. He could not deny it. He was settling down. As much as the thought terrified him, he could not help it.

At around four in the afternoon, Kao reluctantly cracked an eyelid and checked the clock. Drowsily, he rolled out of bed, opting to wake up while there was still some sunlight. Settled down or not, he still kept ridiculously strange hours, often dragging Trystan along with him. Absently, undecided as to what he wanted to do today, he stretched then stepped out of the room into the hall of the now-familiar penthouse apartment. He paused, trying to orientate his still-sleeping muscles and clear his mind. Standing there, it occurred to him that as comfortable as his he had become around Trystan, as close as they had gotten, they still knew very little about each other. They seldom talked about that kind of thing. Whenever the assassin disappeared for one of his jobs, Kao respected his privacy and asked no questions. He deducted that his companion was part of the Vargash underground, but not much more. What was he to the Chevalier family? Why did he kill? Hell, even small details about Trystan such as his favorite food or leisure activity were beyond him. Then again, Kao was not exactly forth coming with facts himself. He had his own long list of dark secrets, and frankly he had no intentions of ever sharing them.

Even so, the socially awkward Kao knew enough about relationships to understand that their peculiar lack of communication was odd. Impulsively, he concluded that he would have to change that. To trick Trystan into divulging some of this precious information. Plotting as he moved, Kao set about finding the half demon in this silly over sized flat. As always, he gave up after a couple of seconds and headed to the living room. "Trystan..?" he called out torpidly, hoping to make his junior come find him. His tone clearly betrayed the fact that he was up to something.

Trystan hadn't imagined anything like this would ever happen.

It had been... a scene set for a movie, that night on the balcony. It had been... romantic. Well, as romantic as romantic could get with two men such as Kaosu and Trystan. The man had come to understand that the next morning would probably be the last time he'd ever see Kaosu. But instead of leaving, the man had come to stay. Stay. The word had made something flutter irresistibly in the obsidian haired adults stomach for some ungodly reason. What had gone from days, to weeks was soon months, and Trystan could hardly believe this reality every time he went to bed at night. It wasn't that he was head over heels for Kaosu - hardly - it was simply that something kept him coming back for more. Something made him feel sick to his stomach everytime the man mysteriously disappeared, and increasingly happy when he came home and found Kaosu again. It wasn't love, he'd convinced himself awhile back. It couldn't be anything close to that - the two hardly knew anything much about each other as it was. And you couldn't fall in love with the perfect stranger.

Today was no different then the days before - since today was a day off from the bar, Trystan had opted for lazing around the house, having been roped into Kaosu's strange hours at the best of times. Still, he'd managed to roll out of bed a few hours before the other, and after showering and dressing, had gone out on the balcony. The sun was warm and happy on his exposed skin, a rare sight as far as Vargash was concerned. The city sounds were beyond his senses of hearing, but the city was bathed in light, and Trystan could only imagine that as a strange sight to see. The man had opted for sitting by the pool edge, feet and ankles submerged in the crystal clear water. He'd rolled up his pants to his knees, and his tank top hang loosely on his shoulders, the warmth making the hit man fan himself a bit. He'd never been built for extreme weather. Though this could hardly be considered extreme.

As he sat there, he concentrated on reminiscing through the past two months. For living in such a close space, he didn't know anything more about Kaosu then he had the first time he'd met him. He didn't know what had happened to him in his past, he didn't know why he was here now, he didn't even know who'd taken his eye. He had no way of knowing what Kaosu enjoyed and hated, what made the man tick and what made him sway with joy. If anything - since swaying with joy and Kaosu really could not fit into the same sentence in Trystans mind. He wondered half heartedly if Kaosu was thinking about this too, and stared into the rippling water, kicking his feet out a little before lifting his head, the unmistakable sound of Kaosu's voice ringing out. Turning his head towards the open door, Trystan narrowed his eyes in the slightest and propped himself up and onto his feet. Padding into the air conditioned living room, he looked around until he spotted Kaosu and rose a hand in a slight wave, leaning against the door frame and watching him curiously.
"At your service." He said slowly, eyeing Kaosu."Sleep well?"

Thinking about the same thing... they really were on the same wavelength.

Hearing footsteps from the direction of the patio, Kaosu lazily turned to see Trystan approaching him. Good boy. "Of course," the red head purred, heading directly over to the other. If he had been a feline, he really would be purring. Even after two months, seeing his companion still sent a wave of contentment through his system. Affectionately, he snaked his arm around Trystan's waist, pulling him close. "Though I would have slept better if you had stuck around, kid~" he added teasingly. Now, now, enough of that. He needed to stick to why he had called Trystan over in the first place. To find out more about him, should he simply ask? Or would that be too straightforward? Too easy? That was definitely not Kao's style. Then how? How could he weasel what he wanted out of his -the word still sent a chill down Kao's spine, but it was true- lover? A ray of sunlight leaking through a window gave him an idea. "I'm bored," he lied, pretending to pout. "Let's go somewhere together." The weather was nice. Why not? Dates were another thing most relationships entailed. Another thing that Trystan and Kao were lacking. The tramp did not particularly like the idea of romping around town like two love birds, but it was worth trying at least once, wasn't it?

Same wavelength? Perhaps...

Trystan watched the other approach, not moving away like he would have two months ago. Physically, he could say that he'd gotten better at not having the innate urge to flee from this man everytime he got close nowadays. It was almost natural. Still, however, he was turned into a blushing heap whenever Kaosu did something affectionate like he was now. It was hardly any sort of unwanted gesture, but Trystans face was already lit with color.
"My apologies, you seemed to be incredibly comfortable on your own." He said loosely, curling his arms around Kaosus neck for support. "And I'm not a kid." He added stubbornly. No matter how many times he tried to tell Kaosu he was not a kid, the man always came back for more. Tilting his head to the side, eyes glittering in the sunlight, Trystan watched Kaosu talk, still somewhat intrigued by this mans strange ways. "You're bored? Thats new." He commented wryly, but whent he other offered for them to go somewhere, Trystan narrowed his eyes a bit. In all of the two months he'd been with Kaosu, something like this had never arisen. So what in gods name was Kaosu planning now. Trystan supposed it might have been best not to ask. Instead, he shrugged, and pulled Kaosu in the general direction of the door. "Sounds interesting enough. As long as I'm driving though." He admitted, looking at the other in slight interest. Once with Kaosu driving was enough. Twice.... well, if it happened again, Trystan didn't think he could handle it. A date.... He mulled it over in his head, waiting for Kaosu's reply. A date. It sounded.... foreign.

"Where do you want to go?"

ooc: oh ho.... I'm.... working on it! XDDD

Natural was a good word for it. Sappy things like hugging Trystan... greeting him every "morning"... Kaosu had never imagined he was capable of them. Yet, here he was, helpless to keep his hands off of some guy. That kind of gesture would have humiliated him in the past, but now showing his affection for Trystan seemed no more unnecessary than breathing air. "Yes you are," he insisted, knowing full and well that this was a pointless argument. "You're too adorable to be anything else~" There it was -Trystan's infamous blush. Even after two months Kao never got tired of it. When he mentioned the date -another one of those terrible, terrifying words- the redhead watched the half demon's reaction curiously, knowing that the suggestion had been completely out of character and out of the blue. Would the other be suspicious? Probably. Thankfully, he accepted the idea and pulled towards the exit without much hesitation. This gave Kao a touch more confidence. A pang of excitement, even. He could survive a little romance, right?

"Awww, I don't get to drive?" he pouted playfully, though getting behind the wheel again was the farthest thing from his mind. Using a car for transportation was still a relatively foreign concept to the tramp, who had never needed such luxury. "I still don't see what's wrong with my driving. I didn't hit anything, did I?" he added stubbornly. He was really just talking to buy time in order to think Trystan's question over. Where did he want to go? Such a simple inquiry was impossible for Kao to answer. The vagabond always wandered spontaneously, letting the road take him where it may free from concern for schedules or directions or time. He could not exactly grasp the notion of having set destinations. After a moment's pause, he finally decided to use the opportunity as a plug to get information, "I don't know. What kind of places do you like?"

Trystan was taken a bit aback by the thought of all this being natural. Natural, natural.... Was it, really? Certainly he'd done things like this before, hadn't he? Deciding not to hang himself up on the matter more then he already had, Trystan enjoyed the feel of Kaosu so close to him. It was a strange concept to grasp, enjoying the company of another that wasn't a one night stand. Trystan was horrible at keeping up with relationships.... Two months with the same man in the same house, never getting tired of it.... That had to be a first. Blushing at the other mans retaliation, Trystan glanced down, batting Kaosus chest with his fists in a light manner. "I am not." He persisted stubbornly, feeling the heat rush to his face. "You're just blind." Then the man couldn't help but snort a bit. "Dont take that literally." He insisted, and then wondered about Kaosu's next words. It was true, he had no idea who this guy really was, but he knew that Kaosu was not the dating type. For him to be asking him to go somewhere... Trystan couldn't hide his suspicion. Something was up with Kaosu. And even though Trystan usually didn't mind surprises, he couldn't help but be interested in what this guy was planning.

Still, a slight smile played on his lips as he pulled Kaosu towards the door, the other already making jokes on his driving.
"Unless you want us to run over some poor pedestrians along the way." He stated dryly, glancing at the other. Kaosu probably knew that wasn't the real reason, and it was honestly because of all the things Trystan was attached to, his car was among one of the top ones. "Hitting things is not part of the problem. Being a speed demon might have something to do with it." Trystan smiled despite himself. Yeah, Kaosu was a speed demon, but once upon a time in a far away land called ten years ago, Trystan was also a speed demon. At the subtle question, Trystan blinked, and turned his head, looking at Kaosu suspiciously. "Are you sure your brain is turned on today?" He asked. Trystan had never been asked these sort of questions by Kaosu. Their talk hadn't been as personal as what their favorite colors. This was... foreign. "I like beaches, but there aren't any close by. Open spaces are nice too..." Trystan mused. He hadn't been asked a personal question in so long. He was almost too unfamiliar with the question that he couldn't answer coherently. Turning, he frowned at Kaosu. "But what about you? There has to be some sort of thing you like."

Blind. Hahah. Kaosu would have been irked had anyone else called him that, teasing or not. Trystan, on the other hand... he was kind of right. That blush -that cute attitude- blocked out everything else for the redhead. "Fine, don't admit it. That just makes you ever cuter," he shrugged, knowing that this conversation could run in circles forever. He did not mind. At least it would distract Trystan from his strange behavior. Pointedly Kao headed for the familiar elevator, not finished with the driving jokes, "Who knows. Those pedestrians can be pretty annoying, you know. They probably deserve it..." This kid and his silly obsession with his car. It almost made Kao regret messing around with the vehicle that first night. He could have been a decent driver if he wanted to, but now his reputation was ruined forever. "What's wrong with speeding if you don't hit anything?" His reputation. Pfft... He really did care too much about what Trystan thought of him. That caring was exactly what made him too uncomfortable to ask personal questions. That was exactly what made this "date" idea so intimidating. "Beaches," he repeated absently, committing Trystan's response to memory. The answer only raised a thousand more tiny mysteries. He had never seen the ocean. What was so nice about it? Why did the half demon like it? Where could they go that could emulate it?

Kao only grew more flustered when the inquiry was turned on him. Not because he minded divulging that kind of information... but because he honestly, genuinely, did not know what to say. He had never really stopped long enough to consider the things or places that he liked. It would have been much easier to list off the items that he hated. "I don't... know," he finally muttered, grasping for any sort of logical reply. What did he like? Only one answer came to mind. "I like you." It was sappy, but it was true. "That's enough for me."

Feeling the blush ebb away slowly, Trystan rubbed at his cheeks as they headed subconsciously for the elevator. The dying thing only lasted a few seconds more before Kaosu brought up another point that just made the streaks of red cross his face at a lightning speed. "I wont admit it, because it isn't true." He said, but fell silent, done with his arguments today. They ran in never ending circles, like dogs chasing their tails. But that was okay, because it never seemed to get old. "Annoying but not necessarily deserving of being run over..." Trystan made a bit of a face, looking at Kaosu. "Especially with my car. Do you know how long it would take me to clean my car if that happened?" Trystan shuddered at the idea. "Thanks but no thanks, I think my poor thing has been through enough tire shredding with you for the next... forever." Finishing lamely, Trystan waved his hands a bit with a pout as he thought of his baby getting even more beat up then usual. "You can damage the tires, and - I'm not arguing this with you. I'm driving, thats final." Trystan said stubbornly, jabbing Kaosu lightly in the side. When the other repeated the word as if it was slightly foreign, Trystan cocked a brow and nodded. "Mmhm." He said absently in return. "They're pretty rare nowadays, but its nice, going there."

Noticing the other seemed a bit flustered - score! - when he returned the question, Trystan watched Kaosu with a bit of a curious glance. Kaosu was such a big mystery to him... Half of Trystan wanted to uncover the things that made him who he was, but another half was scared that if he did, he would break the relationship they'd built up without knowing the slightest personal thing about one another.
"You dont know?" He repeated, frowning a bit. "How can you not know? Theres got to be something you li - " He was cut off by Kaosu's next words, and fell into an embarassed, shocked silence. Unable to not pout, Trystan whacked Kao lightly on the shoulder again and let his head fall, resting his forehead against the others chest for just a second. "You're impossible." He mumbled as the elevator rumbled downwards. "How is that enough for you?" He questioned a bit suspiciously, pulling away to glance Kaosu over as the scenery flashed by. "Not that I... mind." He said, which almost translated over to "I like you too."
PostPosted: Wed Jun 10, 2009 2:12 pm

Kaosu dropped the subject of Trystan's age for now, content that he had successfully provoked that adorable blush. "How do you know? There could be some terrible people lurking on those sidewalks," he persisted, amused by the half demon's obsession with his toy. Of all the useless things for him to care about... Was a vehicle really necessary for getting around Vargash? "I'm not sure your car would be what would need cleaning. Either way, blood washes off of windshields pretty easily." As much as it miffed him that Trystan did not trust him with his prized possession, Kao had dismissed the situation as his own fault. Had he any idea that he might be staying with the kid so long, he would have been more reluctant to scare him on their first wild ride. Whatever. He knew Trystan was pretty cutely stubborn on the subject, so he would let the issue slide without protest. He was more concerned with figuring out how to get his information and how to behave naturally. Beaches... he would need to look into them. He had never bothered visiting one -oceans were an insurmountable dead end. What could be pleasant about the sea? All there was out there was sun and salt and sand. It did not occur to him that that might be the point.

They slipped into the elevator. The familiar contraption pulled into motion. Trystan seemed delighted that he had managed to fluster Kao -a feat usually almost impossible to accomplish. Slightly embarrassed, the tramp pinned his gaze to the floor, trying to recover his calm, collected, indifferent poise. There were so many things about the world he did not know. So many things he had never thought about or experienced. Maybe he would have to broaden his horizons if he wanted to get to know Trystan more? No, that was wrong. His words had been true -Trystan really was enough for him. The guy's reaction proved that. "Don't ask me "how". That's just the way it is," Kao purred. Unable to help himself, he leaned forward and affectionately kissed Trystan's forehead. "But I would like you more if you decided where we should go~"

Trystan couldn't help but snort a bit of a laugh at Kaosu's argument on the subject. Honestly, they really did talk about the strangest things, didn't they? Turning his head to watch the scenery pass by, he hummed in thought. "You're right, there could be some horrible people lurking on those sidewalks." He said, looking back at the other stubbornly. "But I will not be denting my car getting rid of them." He gestured towards Kaosu a bit. "I'll let you do that." He almost added 'and not in my car', but he was sure that Kaosu got the message. It was funny that Trystan had become so attached to a mechanical thing, but it was the first thing he'd bought with his own earned money. He had a right to showering it with love. It really wasn't that he didn't trust Kaosu with his car - despite scary first impressions - it was just that he was too suspicious that anyone driving his car was going to take them off a cliff if he wasn't too careful. Laughing a bit at the comment about blood, Trystan just frowned at him lightly, but the makings of a smile couldn't be held back. "My car is more important then the poor terrible pedestrians that were lurking on the street."

Kaosu was right, Trystan was delighted that he had made the other flustered. It had happened so much to him in the last few months - though it had gotten just a bit better - that when Kaosu became a bit flustered, Trystan almost wanted to childishly say "feel my pain." That would have been stupid though, so he kept his mouth shut and examined the other a bit. He couldn't believe that there wasn't anything else Kaosu liked, and wondered if the other just wanted to keep it all from him, or if he was being geniunely serious. Either way, it seemed like he was being entirely honesty with his words. Trystan didn't know whether to turn hot red, or feel like butterflies had exploded in his stomach. Wait, stop, rewind. He was not that girly.
"Just the way it is, eh?" He commented, cocking a brow at the other. "You're weird." He said finally, jumping a bit when the other kissed him on his forehead. Blushing, he turned his eyes to Kaosu in what could only be an attempt at glaring - but it was already lost to a bit of ecstasy at the simplistic gesture. As the elevator doors swung open, Trystan hummed a bit, stepping out into the lobby and gently pulling Kaosu with him. "How am I supposed to know where we're supposed to go if I dont know where you like? I could take you somewhere you despise without knowing if I'm not careful." Trystan glanced at the other as he exited out into the sunny afternoon light. The car was in view now. "I'll choose, I suppose, if you're going to insist like that. But dont expect anywhere amazing."

PostPosted: Wed Jun 10, 2009 5:38 pm

"Your car is more important than innocent lives?" Kaosu repeated, raising a brow. Mmmm, yet another detail he did not know about his companion. Why was the vehicle so precious to him? Sure, it was flashy and expensive, but the red head suspected that the other had more than enough money at his disposal to fix a couple of minor dents. Kao could not really understand how people fell in love with inanimate objects. "You don't have to tell me that. I still don't see why a few battle scars would hurt it, though. I think they'd give it some character." Strange topics. Really the tramp was just stalling to prepare his nerves for what lay ahead. A date. The very thought of it was ridiculously intimidating. After all, he had already made a mistake. He had gotten flustered so easily -because of a simple, innocent question. Would he really survive an entire afternoon (or soon, evening) of them? Well, at least Trystan would enjoy having the tables turned for once.

For once was rather an appropriate term. Kao's surprisingly sappy words seemed to catch the kid off guard. To be frank, the fact that he had said them surprised Kao, too. Sure, he liked Trystan. That was the honest, complete truth. But was there really nothing, no one, and nowhere he liked just as much? Any where near as much? Sure, he had a thing for cats, but that did not exactly compare. He had grown so attached to the half demon that it scared him. If Trystan genuinely was the only part of his life that he liked... that sounded a little more seriously than like. The idea sent yet another chill down Kao's spine. "I'm not weird. Just indecisive," he protested, smirking. That blush... he would have done something to embarrass Trystan even further, but when the elevator doors clicked open his attention was diverted. He needed to focus on the task at hand. Obediently he headed over to the waiting car. "I'm sure anywhere you choose will be amazing," he mused. This time he was being cheesy to tease him. "As long as you're there, I'll be happy."

"Yeah, it is." Trystan said stubbornly, looking over at Kaosu for a moment. His car was a very, very precious thing. Sure, it wasn't exactly smart to be materialistic, but hell, Trystan wasn't as bad as some people. Cocking an eyebrow at the other when he mentioned battle scars, Trystan smiled a bit. "You're one to talk - but battle scars would defeat the purpose of having kept it in top condition for so long." He shrugged, knowing that both of them had enough battle scars to speak of. Trystan wasn't stupid, but he wasn't always smart enough to avoid the scars. "You dont always need physical scars to build character." He said absently, wondering what was up with Kaosu. The man was acting normal for the most part, but Trystan couldn't help but think something was off. After all, he had just gotten flustered. Wondering where they could go that would be relatively amusing, Trystan glanced down, realizing he hadn't even gotten properly dressed. He was still in rolled up, beaten jeans and flip flops, and two loose, layered tank tops. There were some sun glasses nestled against his black hair, and Trystan had to admit that contrary to his normal, slightly refined appearance, he looked more like a fashionable p***k model. Oh well.

To be honest, Trystan had liked the strange sappy words. He'd never been used to them his entire life, and on top of that, no one had ever spoken like that to him. His family wasn't unaffectionate, they just didn't believe in softening up their kids. So this now... Trystan thought he would be immune to it. But instead his stomach was exploding in a joyous burst at the words. Still scarlet, Trystan parted from Kaosu's side - much to his disappointment, and got into the drivers seat, waiting until Kaosu was in before letting the engine purr to life.
"Indecisive, huh? You seemed pretty confident there though." He said, rolling down his window so that the stuffiness in the car would air out. "Anywhere I choose? Dont be so certain." Trystan laughed a bit, pulling away from the curb and starting to let the beast roll along. "I'm kind of stupid when it comes to choosing places..." When the other mentioned something extremely cheesy, Trystan blushed immensely. Gawking a bit, he suddenly realized that he was going on the wrong direction, and after a short pause to notice that they were the only ones currently on the street, yanked the steering wheel to the side as if to make himself distracted. The first person he'd ever done this to had screamed bloody murder. However, something told him Kaosu wouldn't care that Trystan pulled insane U-Turns when no one was watching. "Wrong direction." He described when he straightened the car out and stepped on the gas, letting the beast roar to life. "Are you sure you aren't feeling sick? You usually dont try to get me to blush by being cheesy."
PostPosted: Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:04 pm

"What's so great about keeping things in top condition?" Kaosu inquired, pretending to be offended. After all, he could hardly be considered at his prime. He had his own array of scars, both on the surface and otherwise. Heck, he was even missing an eye. "No, but they help. I like to think that scars make things look more impressive. Like they have experience." He smirked, "Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work for you, kid." He was obviously digging for a blush. He wanted to seize control of the situation again... to recover from his slight moment of weakness. He had been acting extremely out of character this afternoon -his sappy lines, his personal questions, his insecurity- and at this rate Trystan would get suspicious of his real intentions. The world would not end if the other male figured out that Kao simply wanted to know more about him, but the thought of being exposed for the lovesick feline he was was humiliating. Trying more than usual to behave normal, the redhead obediently settled into the car's passenger seat. "I'm only indecisive about things that don't matter," he amended absently, referring to everything besides Trystan. "Don't be modest. At least you can decide on a place to go in the first place..."

Where they ended up did not matter, anyways. Kao was sure there was nowhere this flashy ridiculous car could take them that he would feel any more comfortable on this... date. So preoccupied was he with his insecurities that he did not notice that Trystan had pulled out going the wrong direction until he abruptly jerked around. Startled, he braced himself on the armrest. "And you accuse ME of being a bad driver," he teased, laughing. Maybe he should not mess with Trystan while he was at the wheel of the vehicle? That could be dangerous... nah. "By being cheesy?" he began, his tone betraying his mischievous intentions. Leaning over towards Trystan, his wandering hand returned to its old tricks. He hitched his thumb on the waist of the half demon's jeans, and pulled them down dangerously low. Talking into his ear, Kao purred, "Do you want me to make you blush other ways?" Way to avoid the question entirely.

"Its great because then they dont break easily." Trystan persisted stubbornly, knocking into Kaosu lightly with a bit of a chuckle at the others mock offense. He'd seen Kaosus scars, he knew that this man was anything but top condition. Neither of them were. Though, Trystan had yet to actually lose an eye. He wasn't planning on doing something like that anytime soon however. "Look more impressive? Really?" Trystan cocked a brow. "I suppose. But again, you dont need physical scars to have experience. Thats just saying you want to be a walking showcase of 'I've done this and know how it feels.'" Waving his hands in the air ridiculously for the moment, Trystan turned to Kaosu with a glare when he was called kid. "Unfortunately?" He repeated, whacking Kaosu lightly. "You've no idea." he said absently afterwards, listening to the hum of silence. Kaosu was acting strange, there was no doubt about that. Trystan had his suspicions, but without any intense proof to back it up, he couldn't just ask what was knocking around in the mans brain. After all, for having lived with the man for over two months, he was still insecure and in the dark about anything revolving around the personal matters of this stranger. "And what doesn't matter to you?" Trystan retorted with a slight smile. Blushing a bit at the next modest, Trystan stuck out his tongue, thankful that they were already in the car. "I'm not modest." He said under his breath. However, the blush was saying something entirely different.

Trystan, for lack of anything better, was going to drag Kaosu to a carnival. Ferris wheels, cotton candy, stupid games, and strange people. Someone had once told him that everyone loved the carnival. He wondered half heartedly if that was true. But Kaosu had said he didn't care, so as soon as he'd pulled the u-turn, he'd revved the engine, absently heading in the direction of Farstep. It wasn't a hard place to get to, and pretty hard to miss.
"I am not a bad driver!" He protested, looking at Kaosu stunned for a moment. "That was a perfect u-turn. And no one was around, and I didn't hit anything." However, he couldn't stay serious for long, and resolved to a bit of laughing too. He must have seemed reckless to Kaosu. When the others tone said a million things about the mischevious intentions, Trystan jumped a bit. "Kao - " He began, but was cut off by the wandering hand. "Dont you dare..." He started, but when his jeans were pulled dangerously low, Trystan went rigid against the seat, a shudder contorting his body effortlessly as he tried to drive while feeling like the temperature had just sky rocketed. "I much prefer you being cheesy," He forced out. He could not start wanting Kaosu like that so early in the day. Looking away as if to hide the blush, Trystan shivered again. "I'm trying to drive." He insisted weakly, when the other whispered in his ear. "K-Kaosu!" the car swerved just a bit, but straightened out with ease. Thank god there were no other cars around.
