Depends on if/when I get a roommate/my own apartment. My friend's rat had babies and she can't keep them. If she can hold on to it for a month or two till I'm sure I can get a roommate/apartment, I might take it.

I don't know if I should have said that though because I have a lizard and she won't get as much attention as the rat since she's not soft and cuddly and I love soft and cuddly. And she's kinda a pain to handle unless she's just woke up cuz she's all lethargic.

I had two brother rats years ago, one was nice and liked to be held and they other just wanted to be left alone.I had to watch them both die =/ Theyre nice but they dont live long.

I sent her a message this morning say I didn't think it fair to ask her to hold on to a rat that could get a good home sooner than later when I'm not even for sure that I'll be able to take it. My sister said the cage I had in storage at my dad's house was thrown out, so I'd have to buy a whole nother cage.

I have one caged animal, should be okay with that for now, and when I want to get a cute cuddly one, it will be a dog.

Cute. Though yeah, the rat should go to someone who's absolutely prepared to take care of it.

This is not even close to what I thought the topic would be... I was expecting juicy gossip. Oh well. PFF I think you lizard may get jealous (you know some weird critter moving in on his territory). If you do get one name him something classy like Robert Allan Turner
