^.~ hia dont know how to roleplay?! lets get learning. you know how you read a story? and it has details of what the character is doing? you are doing the same thing like.....
*the wind blows through my hair as i stare at the petals floating by* what a beautiful day *sighs*
this gives the person reading know what you want them to see and feel or react to. the images or actions your character is doing should be seperated from what the character says with ** or -- or () or what ever you like just make sure you let your fellow members know.
any questions? who wants a wack at it?

Hope y'all don't mind if I post here ^.~
No offense, Toukaya, but in a proper roleplay, you shouldn't use * when describing you characters action.
When roleplaying, describe your actions as you would as if writing a story; without asterisks or dashes.
When your character is speaking, be sure to put "quotation marks" around what your character is saying, and 'single quotation marks' around thoughts. For thoughts, you can also italicize them as well, if you do not wish to use 'single quotation marks', or you can use both!
Try to avoid speaking in first person. Third person rping is most preferred over first person.
Oh! One more thing!
Please mind your grammar. It's okay to misspell things once in a while, but constant foul ups can get really annoying.

Example:
Daniel quietly entered the dark room, his hands feeling along the walls in search for a light switch. "Hello? Anyone in here??"
His eyes scanned the darkness, looking for any sort of sign or movement that he wasn't alone.
His head snapped to the right at the sound of shuffling footsteps. "Who's there?!"
He took a cautious step further into the room, his arms out in front of him so that he would not bump into anything as he walked blindly.
'I'm definitely not alone in here...'

That's how it's written in books and novels. No asterisks. No dashes.
If you're confused about anything, please don't hesitate to ask! mrgreen
