Fairly.
I live in sort of the country/suburbs.
There are lots of forests around at least.
Within three or four years I hope to live in a more isolated area where a forest can literally be my backyard. =]

Same as Schizo. The area has a lot of forested areas but it does take a little bit of traveling to get there.

Definetly not.
I live in a very suburban cosmopolitan setting.

Unfortunately not. I'm really close to Chicago. I love the city, but there's pretty much no wildlife here, unless you go to a forest preserve. gonk

It depends on the time of year. i spend nine months in the Garden District of New Orleans, across from Audobon Park. It's a great place to see wildlife, but i can't exactly go hiking there.

The rest of the year, i'm in a town that's more woods than houses. i hate the town itself but the natural part of it is spectacular. The air always smells nice.

i live near the mountains, but not where you could hike.
you would have to drive deeper in.

i don't really consider where i live to be a suburb.
i live in a big town,
and near all the stores/mall.
sure there are a lot of houses,
but it's not a tight community.

most people just have their own lives.
and our houses are the crappy ones next to the nice expensive ones.
haha.
