sweatdrop MUD CLIENTSI don't recommend using Telnet. It sucks. No scrolling, no nothing. Telnet is used when you click the 'Play Now' link.
Downloadable MUD clients are used by first, downloading (duh
sweatdrop ). You can find different clients by doing a simple Google search. Next, extract the file, install and open. Type in the perameters for the game (the only one really needed is 6666 under 'Port') and you're in.
Some MUD clients are Portal and ZMUD. I can't think of any more at the moment.

Do be sure to check the Help files. These can be accessed by typing 'Help'. You will be shown a menu on different help files. To read one, type ‘Help (subject)’.
Other useful hints are typing ‘color’ when you first start out. This will enable color (duh again) so you can easily distinguish
says from
tells and
group tells.
