I really can't remember exact amount of hours timed I had a hard time with the Elite Four. =x I think I got Diamond in April 2007 then whenever I made it to the Elite 4 sort of wasted time playing around and an hiatus later... Beat them in the following February.

Lol it usually takes me about 30-50 hours.. Thats if your asking out of curiousity...
If you want to know just because you felt kinda slow or fast or something... Its probably better to take a long time. Explore everything while you are still behind so it is a lots less jumbled and complicated when you beat the game xd

I play my other games inbetween pokemon so I don't burn out on it alone. I spent time leveling up so I can beat the E4 in one run.

I beat the entire game in about...three months. That means doing these things. -Win a master contest in hearthome (third hardest.) -Beating the elite four (easiest) -getting 50 flags underground (Depends if you have friends around.) -beating the battle tower in single battle mode (100 in a row.) I managed to get 107 too...XD I hated doing that. Took me weeks... Definately the hardest thing I have done in my life.... sweatdrop -catching all pokemon, (Shaymin and Darkrai I got from friends and I got Arceus from another person.....in my opinion Arceus stinks. You can tell it's type by looking at it's color. I don't see why people think it's uber powerful. Sure it has more stats but it's way too balanced. Even the EV's don't help it much... >.<
