It hardly makes any sense that it would, yet here we are; living in fear just as we did before. What went wrong? Where did all the energy and time and effort that we put into this go? Where was our justice?
Robotnik was gone, after all. He was our biggest threat; the means of our struggling in the first place. Robotropolis was abandoned after him, its intimidating structure left empty in the distance, reminding us of our strive. Looking back on it though, was it really all worth it? 19 months of peace- that’s all we got. That was all we were compensated with, before that horrible incident that ruined the very structure of everything we fought for.
The fearless hero, Sonic the Hedgehog was renowned among us Mobians. He was brave and kind. He aided us and did everything in his power to protect those weaker than him. But like everyone else, he had his flaws. He was impatient, reckless and unsettling but all things were disregarded because his good points just out shone all of that. But his recklessness turned out to be just as destructive as any SWATbot that used to terrorize our forest. No one could comprehend the news of Sally’s death once it reached their ears. Further-more: that Sonic was the culprit.
Of all people, how? How could he do something like this? All of it just seemed so unreal. Some people fought for him; preached his innocence, claimed he was set up, anything to keep their hero from being turned into a murderer. But the fact was still the same- accident or not, Sonic killed someone. Royalty. Rumors that Castle Acorn was suffering from this loss put people in a panic. No one has seen Sonic after that. That coward.
Crimes have been going up steadily after that. And if things weren't bad enough, people claim to have spotted robots around Robotropolis again. Things don't look good. I'm afraid they will only get worse.

 x x x xI dunno why the prologue wasn't enough for you but I'll just summarize everything here...x x x xRobotnik hasn't been seen since the attack on his base where the Freedom Fighters foiled his plans for the final time. The solitude was too much for Sonic and in a fit of recklessnes, put Sally in danger which resulted in her death.
Sonic is no a convict and on the run.
Meanwhile, the inhabitants of Knothole are stressed out because everything they've worked up to so far is slowly unwinding and having no one to look to anymore, is sending them in a panic.
And what is up with all these sightings of robots around?
More will be added as the story progresses.

 There are two different character skeletons: one for OCs and one for canons. Like stated in the rules, the skeletons for the two will differ. Since I'm assuming you know how to write and what your own character acts like, no samples are needed for OCs, but as for Canons, I would like to see a 2 paragraph sample or a link to a previous post you have made playing as that character.

(no no, I mean, I was in the this RP, thats why I made Lóegaire, he was originally in this rp, I made banners and junk because this was extreme literate RP, the other original poster was Mu Cow, spelled more fancy, heck I'd love to grab those guys for this guild, hell I'd spot them the entrance if need be. )
