((So you're aware, I am not quite sure how long I have to be on here. But I'm assuming my parents will allow me some extra time to be done with this.))
Setzer strolled forth, haivng been informed of the challenge. Fearful he would lose, but didn't want to show this. His robes flowed gently across the floor of the desert. Using his many tails to keep him afloat atop the sand. His Zanpaktou held close in his hand. He felt his mask in his robes, thinking he may need it, but decided to wait before placing it. Waiting for his opponent to appear, from, wherever it may be that he would appear. A wind began to blow, sand became lifted upwards, and ceased almost as quickly as it had appeared. This would be his first battle, and it happened to be for his seat, wonderful.

Setzer heard the badly worded incantation, and drew his Zanpaktou. The blade hit the blast, and suddenly deflected the weak energy away to his right. "You must work on that my friend. Anchoring only works when spoken correctly I'm afraid." He walked forward, holding his blade to his side, his tails following suit. From inside of his robing, he pulled out a small mask, white in color, matching is robes, with the red designs etched into them.

Smiling, he placed it over his face, with eyes closed. A second later, he spoke again. "I'm sure I asked about no kido, however, I'm sure my kitsune abilities shall help me just fine with this." He bent down, and using his tails he sprung upwards. While in midair, his tails rubbed together, causing a spark, which he ignited to lightning. He thrust it toward his foe before landing again on his feet, a few yards from where he originally stood. He stood waiting, watching to see the result of his blast.

((By the way, it's "throw" and "threw." Just so you become aware.))

Setzer's face remained stoic behind the mask, which prevented any sand from getting into his eyes. His arm raised, deflecting the majority of the damage from the thrown blade at him. It bounced off, hitting his left arm, leaving a minor wound. The blood fell from it, the force from the impact had Setzer flying backward, the toes of his feet holding him down to the desert floor. Using his heightened senses of his kitsune heritage, he again took a jump like before, escaping the wild fury of Horyuushi's Hado.

Falling to the ground, Setzer created a small orb of Foxfire. The blue-white flame grew rapidly in size, as he threw that too at him. The large fire flew fast, and quickly hit something in a large blast, causing the sand storm to disappear. His feet again landed to the ground as he watched the area for anything that might resemble the attacker. "Mayhaps you forgotten this, I am Setzer, 7th Seat of Squad 10. Did you really think I'd be so easy to fall?"

Setzer's smile remained unseen from behind the mask. The wind blew, and his hair flew with it. The robes becoming a faint blur of red as the designs fluttered in the wind. A scent of various plants came with it, filling the air with a sweet smell of cacti, possibly quite far off in the distance. Even through the mask, his sense of smell was too great to be blocked by it. His eyes glanced back over to Horyuushi as his speech finished.

"Did you ever think that perhaps I was given a higher seat for a reason? Numbers don't lie. Just because you get stronger, do you really think I won't?" His eyes widened, taking in the full view of the area. His blade held tightly in his hand. He ran forward, running toward the foe, his tails rubbing together again, creating a large spray of lightning in his direction. As the blasts were launched toward Horyuushi.

He stopped, several feet from where his adversary stood at the time of the spray. His hand still clenching his blade, waiting to react to a move he might make. The hand raised, holding it ahead of him, blade down. Slowly building a large Foxfire before him, ready to attack with that as well, should the need arise. Slowly, his breathing steadied, standing in a meditative state.

Setzer, having expected the move, let loose a great burst of reiatsu from his now cleaned mind. He wasn't strong, but it was at least enough to keep himself from the Kidou. The sand however, was a different story. An easy target now, being unable to move, Setzer glanced forward. "Really now, I'm in you're way? Maybe you don't realize this my friend, but there is most definitely a better way of achieving goals than your methods here." Setzer slid Hijouni atsui gatsu into the hardened earth easily, focusing his reiatsu through the metal, and creating a large area around himself to loosen the sand.

The moment the sand no longer held him, he launched himself into the air backwards, landing on a rock a ways away from him. "I must ask, why 7th seat? If seats 8 and 9 are in your way as well. Obviously, you're not after everyone in the way, just select few. You must have thought I weaker, even though the Captain ranked me higher. You should be pleased you even made rank, let alone worry about the number you hold. You get stronger, you get your title." He flung his blade to his right, still tightly gripping it in his hand, scattering any sand that remain on the blade.

Setzer began to exhale, and stared hard at Horyuushi. "Enough!" Setzer yelled. "Enough of our speech, let this fight resume. There is nothing worth speaking over, nor nothing to discuss. I shall let my Zanpaktou speak for me." At that moment, Setzer's breathing steadied, and his voice stood quiet. His concentration focused on his senses, and on his foe. His blade held high, poised to attack. His awareness expanded, expanding the senses.

Setzer lunged at Horyuushi, the fastest he could. He removed his sheath from his side, sliding it into the still hardened sand, the metal of his Zanpaktou lunged at him. The six tails on his back balanced him on the ground, the strength of the lot held his balance high. Beads of sweat fell from his mane of hair, the robes flying upward with the sudden movements he made as the air rushed by. A burst of reiatsu was released from his lower body, further shoving him forward.

He gripped the hilt tightly, his hand pressed against the guard. The blade inches from the Horyuushi's leg. There was no way he could stop this. At this moment, his mind came to a calm state, his senses remaining ever sharper. Waiting to see if by some odd chance another move were to occur that would need his fullest range of reflexes. Even if he expected his own blow to hit, it's only a leg. He pulsed reiatsu through his body, at least it would protect him from any serious injuries, should the tenth seat try to hit him.

Setzer continued to press onward until he could no longer push further. He watched as Horyuushi flew backwards the twenty feet, thinking he may have used the reiatsu to push himself further back than normal. Still standing with his tails, Setzer balanced himself, using them to crawl backwards like a spider. He waited for an attack, ignoring the remarks made by Horyuushi.

He knew his challenger couldn't have a lot of reiatsu left, already using his fourth Kidou since the match began. Setzer, being lucky that his own lightning wasn't a product of reiatsu, as much as it is friction created from his tails into static electricity. He used his tails to move himself around, crawling around. The moment the Hado flew toward him, he spun around, flipping around to dodge the bolts, landing on his feet.

Once landed, he once again jumped onto four his tails, and scurried along the sand in a zigzag formation before finally coming toward him, the Zanpaktou in one tail, the sheath in another. The sheath was held in front of him, as Hijouni atsui gatsu to his side, one to protect, another to attack. His hands held close held a small Foxfire, but this was not meant to attack. He thrust it at the ground, shoving large amounts of dirt skyward toward Horyuushi.

In the small storm he made, he launched forward, using the tails to jump upward, catching a wave of the reiatsu created by Horyuushi to fly upward, but using his tails to fly himself around, using them together like the wings of a plane.
