Twenty years before Sora’s birth, there were a race of people called ‘Chasers’. These Chasers created expert weapons which allowed them to travel through worlds. These weapons were called Keyblades, for they opened locks set on worlds that prevented travel through them. Three years after each Chaser, who had powers equivalent to god, turned to a side, dark or light. There were those who didn’t want to pick sides, so they went to the World that Never Was. Those people turned into nobodies, or people with half lives who no longer have heart. These people learned mastery of their Keyblades and learned to control lesser nobodies, Dusks, who were just shells of people . These Nobodies have their power coming from the Keyblade LureBreaker, which can combat both light and dark.

People of the Dark soon became what people called Heartless. Heartless usually act on instinct, but these heartless were above that. These heartless were in tune with the darkness, bending it to suit their will. The source of their darkness was the creation of a Keyblade called SoulEater, pure darkness source which turns most corrupt souls into heartless with one stroke of its fin like blade. This blade Is the Bane to the light.

Those of the light turned into what would be called hunters. These people would hunt the Darkness to the ends of the World(s). These people get their power from a Keyblade called Judgement, which is a Powerful source of light. This blade is the only way to eradicate the heartless, purifying a corrupt person’s heart with just a tap, but slaying heartless with a single stroke.

Now what does this have to do with anything? Well, one year after all this occurred, a World called Kingdom Hearts was discovered, and in it the two most powerful keyblades that made incredible weapons when fused with others. These were called the OathKeeper and Oblivion which could be used to make a weapon called the Ultima Weapon. The two Keyblades are in the center of a field of Keyblades, which confuses people who attempt to seek it.

This is a Keyblade war over the most powerful Keyblades, where its dark an light, and the Nobodies who just want to keep peace. Even though the heart of each side is its main keyblade, Keybladers have various types of Keyblades, which each give them a power that helps them. All Chasers are in control of one element, and there can be multiple chasers for each element. Now the Keyblade war has begun, and which side are you on?
