A few people have expressed an interest in helping to write the Loonie Binble and I think this is a wonderful idea. I would love to read your stories so I'm giving you the chance. Please follow these guildlines or your story will not be added to the Loonie Binble.
1). The great and powerful Gaian Gods have all worked very hard to make Gaia into what it is today and I don't want their wrath to rain down upon us poor lowly Loonies. If you mention any towns or parts of the Gaia storyline, keep them accurate. Don't have robots growing flowers or the Von Helson sisters in love with Gambino. I don't want the casino moved to Durham or a hair salon in Barton.
2). Remember that you are only dealing with the time from year 0 to year 863 BB (before banishment). Only include things that already exist. Anything in the towns, storyline up until the tower fell and anything I have included in the background. Not santa and Jack fighting. No donation items either please.
3). You can write about anything you like. It can be how the robots invented houses, how there was an explorer who set out from Barton and found other towns, how electricty was discovered, anything at all that you want to write about. You can even write about one of a towns people who was the town drunk. You don't have to use the Gaia story line or even mention a town.
4). Remember that in year 1, the towns people knew nothing and had little. In year 863, they had water, electricity, could build buildings, grew flowers, etc... Pick a year or years for which your story will take place and try to make it realistic. I would be disappointed if there wasn't something Loonie about your stories but I don't want angels fighting devils. There are only the 4 gods and humans and robots. Also the Loonie Bin does not exist yet.
5). At the very top of your story, type the year your story is set in so I will know what order to place it in the binble. If you mention the Gaia storyline in your story, add that to the top too. I may have to change the year(s) if there has already been a story submitted with the Gaia storyline mentioned so that isn't mixed up too. I will delete the years when your story is added. Make sure you mention the year IN your story aswell.
6). Please use full sentances and paragraphs. The Loonie Bin Guild members will most likely not be the only people reading this and we don't want everyone thinking we are all illiterates. If you need help, ask Rebartssa or myself to help you. I will also edit spelling and such but I don't want to re-write your entire story.
7). Please take your time and think about a good story before you start to write. There can be thousands of stories added so try to stick to one subject. If you have several ideas, try to keep them seperate and don't bounce through the years.
cool . I may add more in the future as needed but in the meantime, have fun and start writing.

Late one autumn night as Greenshamrock lay sleeping all warm and comfy in padded cell number 9 at the Loonie Bin Guild, the GREAT Gaian God L0cke came to her in a dream and spoke her name.
He told her the story of how the Loonie Bin Guild came to be and explained His teachings to her. He told her then to go forth and speak His words so that all will know that the God L0cke is really ...
Huh? What was that? Oh it's just the sleepless Loonies wandering the halls. With all the noise they make it's a wonder anyone can get any sleep around here. *Rolls over and drifts back to a peaceful sleep.*

The Loonie Binble
In the beginning there were four great and powerful Gods who ruled both the heavens and the earth.
The greatest and most powerful of all was the Mighty God Lanzer who sat on His great throne made from recycled cardboard and watched over the earth below. He was a fair and just God but had little tolerance for untraditional thoughts.
On His right sat the Beautiful Goddess Ling on her honourable wooden throne and this pleased the Mighty God Lanzer very much.
On His left sat the Great God Vo on His sturdy metal throne and this too pleased the Mighty God Lanzer.
The final member of this elite group, was the God L0cke who could never sit still. His wild imagination and modern ideas made Him unfavoured By the Mighty God Lanzer.
As the centuries passed, the great and powerful Gods become bored with nothing to do but watch over the barren lands below. The Mighty God Lanzer listened a little more to the wild ramblings of the God L0cke. He decided that He would try one of these modern ideas that God L0cke had been raving about lately, just to see what the results would be. Of course it would have to be an idea that the Mighty God Lanzer came up with on his own. He would not allow a lesser God like L0cke to make Him look bad.
The Mighty God Lanzer decided that each of these great and powerful Gods would create a town in the land known as Gaia and fill them with peoples. They would watch over them to see how these new peoples would evolve. In 1000 years, the great and powerful Gods would return and study the progress that each town had made.
The Mighty God Lanzer began to plan His work to create his town and fill it with good, honest, hard-working peoples. This would become known as Barton Town.
The Beautiful Goddess Ling wanted to create a town full of beautiful peoples just like her and thus would be born Durham Town. She would help them to have nice clothes and fancy hairstyles and this pleased the Mighty God Lanzer.
The Great God Vo thought that peoples were imperfect and wanted nothing to do with them. They smelled funny and made ungodly noises. He decided instead to create Aekea Town and fill it with robots. This also pleased the Mighty God Lanzer.
The God L0cke with His wild imagination wanted His peoples to be just like Him and even share his slightly wild ways. He set to work creating Reinhart Town with visions of peoples having fun and not living under the Mighty God Lanzer's strick laws. This did not please the Mighty God Lanzer.
The God L0cke begged the Mighty God Lanzer to allow His peoples just the 1000 years that was to be given the others to prove themselves and become a great race of peoples. The Mighty God Lanzer reluctantly agreed vowing action would be taken if the God L0cke's peoples did not prosper and grow in the set time limit. This pleased the God L0cke.
So each of the four great and powerful Gods set to work creating their towns and peoples. They gave them tools and knowledge and then went about their other Godly duties for the next 1000 years.

863 years had passed, almost exactly to the day, since the towns had been created when there came a mighty explosion upon the earth. The ground shook and the peoples scattered to avoid injury. The great and powerful Gaian Gods descended upon the earth to find the cause and were shocked by what they found. This did not please the Mighty God Lanzer at all.
In Barton Town, the Mighty God Lanzer's peoples had grown and prospered in all areas of their lives. They had learned to communicate through the use of guilds with each other and with the peoples from the other towns. They had learned to grow flowers and trees, learned to create nice pictures they called art, they learned to make nice clothes to wear and even built a railroad to travel to other towns. This pleased the Mighty God Lanzer and made Him happy. Barton Town would be left to continue to grow and prosper.
The Gaian Gods then went to Aekea Town to see what had caused the big bang that had shaken the earth and caught their attention. As they arrived, it quickly became apparent that all was well in the Great God Vo's town. His robots had grown as prospered in many ways. They had mastered the art of building housing for the peoples of Barton Town. They even mastered the ways of building honourable and sturdy furniture for the houses. This pleased the Mighty God Lanzer and the Great God Vo. It was decided that Aekea Town would also be left to continue to grow and prosper.
They next travelled to Durham Town to seek an explaination of the explosion that has summoned them upon the earth known as Gaia. There they found that the peoples of the Beautiful Goddess Ling were living in terror and turmoil and began to question the peoples for the cause of their great distress. The great and powerful Gaian Gods learned that the Beautiful Goddess Ling's peoples had grow and prospered until just recently.
They had learned clothes making, they had learned to fancy their hair and they were all happy. They had mastered the art of masonary and built great buildings to honour their Beautiful Goddess Ling and thank her for creating such a wonderful place for them to live. This pleased the Mighty God Lanzer and plased the Beautiful Goddess Ling aswell. It was decided that they would be allowed to continue to grow and prosper. But what had caused all the distruction and chaos in their lives?
They next travelled to Reinhart Town and were shocked at what they found. The God L0ckes peoples had also grown and prospered but not like the others. His peoples shared his wild ways and had evolved into greedy, selfish and insane peoples although the God L0cke had none of these undesirable traits. Human peoples were very strange and yet wonderful creatures.
One of the God L0cke's peoples was a mean and spiteful man named Gambino who wanted the other peoples, of all the towns, to worship him and not the great and powerful Gaian Gods. He taught the God L0cke's people to make weapons and turned them to slaves. He had them build a high tower to show their loyalty to him, a mortal man, and cursed the Gaian Gods before They came. He stored all his gold these poor people made for him in a building called a bank. He taught them to gamble in a place called a casino and drink mind altering alcohol.
The high tower had fallen and had caused all the chaos and devastation in Durham Town and also here in Reinhart Town. This mortal man Gambino, was so vein and greedy that he had even changed the name of the God L0ck's town from Reinhart to the Isle of Gambino to honour himself.
The Beautiful Goddess Ling began to cry and it is said she creid for many days and many nights Her tears filled the lands surrounding the towns and created what we now know to be the seas around Gaia. This did not please the Mighty God Lanzer and it did not please the God L0cke either who secretly loved the Beautiful Goddess Ling.
The Mighty God Lanzer decided that, as a lesson to all the other great and powerful Gods, He would allow the peoples of what was now called Gambino Town the opportunity to change their ways and learn to live free and peaceful lives. They would remain a constant reminder to the other Gaian Gods what happens when you are not careful when creating life. The Mighy God Lanzer then banashed the God L0cke from the Heavens above Gaia to live among His people in Barton Town and learn from them and grow with them.
This pleased the Mighty God Lanzer who then cleared all the rubble and debries from the towns. The Beautiful Goddess Ling was sad to see the God L0cke babashed but made Her happy that her beautiful peoples would once again have beautiful lives like Hers. The Great God Vo didn't have much to say and was only pleased that He had decided to create robots and not viel humans.
The God L0cke vowed that he would seek justice against the Mighty God Lanzer. The Mighty God Lanzer had shown favours to the Beautiful Goddess Ling and the Great God Vo but never to Him. He would show Mighty God Lanzer that he was a great and powerful God and deserved His Favour aswell. One day, vengence would be His. The God L0cke then left the Heavens above Gaia and went to live among His peoples. What follows will be His Story.

As the 3 great and powerful Gods ascended back to the Heavens high above Gaia, the Beautiful Goddess Ling glanced back over Her shoulder at God L0cke who was left behind banished to the earth. God L0cke watched them go and saw the tear gently roll down Her cheek. His heart was breaking to be banished from the Heavens for it meant being banished from Her aswell.
Once the 3 great and powerful Gods were comfortably seated back on their thrones, the Mighty God Lanzer sat deep in thought at all that they had seen. He was generally pleased with the way Their peoples had grown and prospered over the years. All but God L0cke's peoples that is. The Mighty God Lanzer decided that He would send gifts down to the most faithful of all the towns peoples.
To the Great God Vo's robots in Aekea Town He sent thick ropes called whips, pichforks and bats to help them with their house building. He also sent down robot doggies for companionship. These great gifts pleased the robots who then built houses for all the Gaia Gods.
To the Beautiful Goddess Ling's peoples in Durham Town, He sent down warm blankets, beautiful scarfs and cloaks with headdresses. The peoples of Durham were so pleased with their gifts from the Gods that they built a high clock tower to honour their wonderful Gods.
To His own people in Barton Town He sent down musical instruments, warm blankets and packs to carry their things in when they travelled. He even sent them down kittens to keep them from becoming lonely. The peoples of Barton were so greatful to their Gods that they built a circular waterfall in the middle of their town to show their loyalty.
To the peoples in the town now known as the Isle of Gambino He sent down a terrible plague called the G-Virus. He thought the God L0cke's people to be evil and sinful and wanted to punish them for forsaking their Gods and worshipping a mere mortal man. People began getting sick and grew ugly deformaties. Their skin turned pale and they would suffer for their greed.

saphira_legend lol i like it. 4laugh you should tell them they are our gods. or i could. can i? twisted I have the entire beginning in my head and will not give it away but you should have noticed that they each have a prefix except L0cke. The Mighty God Lanzer, The Beautiful Goddess Ling, The Great God Vo, but The God L0cke does not have a prefix. not yet anywayOnce the beginning is done, anyone who would like to add stories of the Gods or peoples can do that. You can use the Gaia story line but wait till I have all my thoughts posted first. I should have it all up before the end of the week-end. I hope rolleyes
