Black Lily
The moment Lily walked in, Kioko's screaming stopped. Teh little girl seemed right at home, squirming out of Lily's grasp and hanging onto her mother's arm, staring gleefully around. A few seconds later, the adult daemon trotted after, carrying a sleeping Kagome, trailed by her brother, Jotaru. Zao came last, looking very grumpy and bored.
Lily rubbed her eyes, sitting on the ground and letting Kioko crawl out of her lap, squeaking and giggling. Kagome was curled up to Yuri's chest, snoozing happily. Zao leaned against a wall, a shadow over his eyes. Jotaru happily bounded over to Kioko, getting on his knees to watch her.
The eldest woman sat up straight, blinking. "All accounted for?"
"James in bag, Korin at Shimi's, Kimae at camp. Everyone else is here. All are safe." Yuri replied, her simple voice very cheery.
Lily settled back down, sighing softly. "Good, good."
"Have a bad feeling?" Zao's maturing voice asked suddenly, whilst Lily nodded. The monkey-boy grinned. "I feel great." He murmured, pushing hismelf off of the wall.

"People!" A happy yelp came from one of the hallways, and a young kitsune girl with silver-furred ears and tail came flying into the room, eyes wide with glee. "It's the little squirrelly! She's so cute, and she's so happy now! Hi sweetie!"
Following her, a small boy with the ears, horns and tail of a ram sighed, dressed elegantly in breeches and a long-sleeved shirt. "Forgive Rin, she's a bit hyper." He bowed. "My name is Koro. You would be?"

Kioko stared up, giggling and reaching up to the girl named Rin, happy to see someone like her. She gurgled nonsense, squealing happily. Lily chuckled softly, closing her eyes again.

"I -- what are we doing here?"
Phantom grinned, shifting Asha on her hip and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear before the infant got to it. "Because, I thought you needed to get out."
Hilian shook his head, following Phantom as she entered the building. "But you didn't need to drag the entire family with you."
Stopping suddenly, the woman looked up at him. "Why, of course I did, Julii doesn't get out much any more than you do."
Hilian rolled his eyes and pushed Phantom's cowboy hat over her eyes, bending around her so she could see him. "You piss me off, you know that?"
Hair now astray, Phantom blew some out of her face and shifted Asha again, who grabbed at the stray hair. "But you can't do anything about that, can you?"
Pushing her hat further over her eyes, the man grinned. "But I am taller than you, and stronger too--"
"--Oh would you to just quit it? This is no place to be bickering." Nevenn came in the door after them, shaking her head, Jaque on her hip and Julii and Cameo trailing her. "Just -- stop it. Oi, remember what we told you, Cam, don't go to far and -- Julii, will you keep an eye on her?"
The sliver haired boy nodded positively and grabbed Cameo's shoulders before the grape girl could go to far. Phantom snickered and Hilian rolled his eyes.
And thus was the chemistry of their family.
"--Oh!" So Phantom had just realized that they had, indeed, walked in on something or another. Other people at least. Asha giggled wetly, a lock of hair in his mouth (that was promptly removed by Phantom) and waved at these people. "Sorry, uh..."

Rin grinned, scooping up Kioko and hugging her happily before turning to face Phantom, Asha and crew. "Hi I'm Rin and this is Lily and Zao and Juti and Kagome and Kioko and my big brother Koro!" She rattled off in one breath, looking pleased to have remembered all the names - or at least she was confident she had. "Who're you? Ooooo, the fire baby! What's his name now?"

Kioko giggled, tugging on Rin's hair happily. She gurgled, staring at Phantom happily. Lily opened one eye, smiling at the others. "Hello." The woman said softly, her voice weak. "Nice to meet you." She rubbed her eyes, shakily standing up whilst Zao snorted.
"I think I've met you, no?" He asked, peering from the shadows. Jotaru went to stand by his friend, looking over the group. Yuri rocked Kagome, smiling.
"That's basically right, Rin." She said, laughing quietly.

Phantom shifted the infant in her arms, smiling cheerily at Rin. "I'm Phantom ... and this," she nodded to the little redheaded kid, "is Asha. Those people behind me are my family: Hilian," the man rolled his eyes, "Nevenn," the cat girl passed a wave, "Julii," he didn't bother to do more than raise a hand, "Cameo," she waved, bouncing on her hooves, but held down by her 'brother', "and the other infant there is Jaque. Neon and Alex I think we lost on the way here, but they'll show up eventually. Alex has a dinamite sense of direction."

"Cameo - you mean like Yvette's friend?" Rin half-bounced herself, not bothered in the least by Kioko tugging at her hair. "Evie likes her Cameo but I thought Cameo was little like her. Did you grow big?"
"I think that's the idea of growing up, squirt." A tall, dark-haired boy trotted in on silent feet, dressed in casual training clothes. Shazran smiled politely at the Guardians and their families. "I'm glad to meet you. My name is Shazran - Rune is my mother, this is my brother and sister. Please, have a seat, make yourself at home. Mom's just getting the kids up from their naps, they shouldn't take very long." It was one of the longer speeches the ninja child had made. Koro looked rather relieved to see his brother, though he did shoot a few anxious glances at Lily. She didn't look well - maybe his mother should see her when she came out?

Yamazaki walked down the street he had for halloween. Seems they still remembered him, from the odd looks he got. Not that he didn't expect it with the wake of chaos and destruction he had left that day. Inadvertently, of course.
Steve was riding on the man's shoulder, Yamazaki holding his legs, while the child clinged to his head. He slowly looked up, and heard Steve giggle as he helding on tighter.
Temporal Ninja Adoption Center. This was her place. He walked up to the door, knocking on it with a few soft kicks, as his hands were busy making sure Steve didn't fall.

"Door!" Rin sang happily, bolting for said door holding Kioko like an airplane. Shaz sighed with a mixture of exasperation and amusement, following his sister to make sure she didn't drop the child or scare anyone who happened to wander into her.
Koro, meanwhile, knelt beside Lily. "Miss Lily, are you alright?" He asked, softly patting Kagome's head. His little sisters had liked that when they were small. "Pardon me for saying so, but you don't look very well."
