I was on the end of the line and we were going down the street playing, and people were parked in the road.
So as I'm just walking and playing my flute, out of now where BAM!!!
I wacked it against this guys sideview mirror!!! stressed sweatdrop
I didn't have time to look and see if it was broken sweatdrop
Anybody do something like this?

When we were marching down to the park for the Memorial Day Parade, Desi was high step skipping to the tempo that we were given, and she tripped and went off the road. She stood back up and got back in line. The parade hadn't even started, and she tripped! Now THAT'S funny!

When we go to parades, we start at a local Elementary school and march downhill toward mainstreet.
We were heading down the hill one year and one of our bass drummers tripped. She rejoined the band, but she was the person right in front of me, so I saw her go down and had to step around her. I was like 0_o
Also, one year we had a clown run into the middle of the band. It was like "Get out of the way, stupid Clown!"
And that's why the band hates clowns.

When I was at my cadet band comp. One of the Drum Majors dropped her mace! O.o She spun it up in the air and she missed catching is and when it hit the ground the head of the mace was totally busted. It was so sad.
Also the year before one of the Drum Majors spun his mace in the air while marching in the arena..and his mace hit the ceiling and smashed on the ground.
lol good times at band comps XP

So my band does this Christmas parade every year. You're supposed to decorate yourself in Christmas lights, tinsel, etc. One of the years my brother marched, he covered himself in tinsel, but halfway through the parade, it started slipping off. It got caught around his legs and he started double-timing, then jumping down the street, attempting to keep up. It was amazing.

That reminds me of the time when I was playing during a parade. Cadet band by the way.
Story time! Yay!
anyways
During the Hyack parade, (some parade in the city) the band that I was in, (my instrument is Flute just to let you know), well, we were marching down this hill apparently, my friend Angela tripped and fell, so I helped her up. Then all of a sudden, this camera crew comes out of no where and we basically ran into them (Stupid Camera crew!! scream ). The person I'd say who got the most of the impact, was one of the snare players, Megan I believe.
Then, an hour later, we were marching up a hill, this stupid branch that was hanging low, smashed into my face along with my flute, Louisa (another Flutist), and Angela. Our 2nd trumpet had a nosebleed from 'accidentally' bashing his trumpet on his face, because we were in this position called 'Mark Time'. Then our only bass drummer, while we were doing something called 'Counter Spiral' or something, bashed the drum right into my right hip D:.
It hurt-ed for a long time.
Then our DM dropped his mace. He spun it up in the air, and missed catching it, we had to continue marching so we had to leave the mace behind. One of our officers picked it up after our DM dropped it.
