((all-righty, here we go))
Captain Flynn sat at his desk, with a set of headphones on his head and a pen and paper in front of him. He was translating out morse code and mumbling to himself as he did. "Meet... in... field... 5... miles... North... of... Town... to... pick... up... cargo... stop... 40... crates... at... 300... credits... per... stop... 3000... upfront... stop... 45... minutes... all... stop..." He put the pen back in the inkwell, leaned back, and sighed. "God I hate morse code. And what do they mean field? There isn't a good plant on this dust bowl." He flipped open the speaker tube that led to Sabrina's Quarters. "Sabrina. Sabrina. SABRINA!" There was no reply. He flipped open all tubes and roared "Does anyone know where the frak Doctor Reatrea has gone?! "

Out on the dusty planet surface the doctor stepped out of the local police house with a bag of twenty silver clenched in her gloved fist. "Dead man walking outta his grave, my a**!" Sabrina laughed, obviously quite proud of the bounty she and Viktor has just turned it.
She shook her head and looked back over her shoulder at the taller pilot. "Well, I think it's time we head home from our local shopping trip, Vik. The Cap'n should be finishing up with his contact by now." she said, started to head back. "I bet he'll like our little gift."

Viktor nodded, a wry grin hinting at his own satisfaction with the results of their foray. He pulled a chronometer from his coat and gave a pained sigh, seeing it fouled with dust and sand particles. "Fine by me. The sooner we're out of this hole the better."

Sabrina smirked and opened her flask, taking a sip from it. "I don't think it's too bad. The whiskey is top quality." The doctor was usually very cynical and curt, but today was a good day. The doctor didn't like being cooped up on a ship not to mention arguing with the Cap'n nearly everyday. Nobody even blinked anymore once they started bickering.
It didn't take the pair of 'shoppers' to return back to the ship. Sabrina started making her way up the ramp just in time to hear the Cap'n yelling. "I'm here, I'm here, what is it?" she yelled into the tube.

Connal rubbed his eyes for a moment, hearing that her voice was coming from the speaker tube from the main hangar bay. "Sabrina, for your sake and mine, please tell me you were in the john, or giving one of the crew a checkup, or really anything that wouldn't involve you going off ship without telling me?" He flapped shut all of the speaking tubes that were no longer needed, reached over into his desk drawer and pulled out a cigar. He put it in his mouth, but he didn't light it. In his opinion, smoking was a waste of the fine flavor of a cigar. Better just to chew on it to keep from killing his crew.

The doctor rolled her eyes and sighed. "I went on planet with Vik the moment we landed to not only scout the area for contaminates and supplies.... and some whiskey, not gunna lie. Just like we always do! We told Jaden right before we left. Nobody's sake is in any harms way, now hold on and I'll let you yell at me in person, sounds like you're in the study."
Sabrina closed the callpipe and reached into the bag, tossing two silver coin's to Viktor. "Please don't underestimate me again, Vikky. Now I've got to go see the Cap'n before he blows his lid, will you grab the whiskey we bought?" With that the young doctor made her way to the Captain's study. She knocked on the door and held up the bag of silver and two local cigars. "Can we skip the argument about my safety, and how you need to trust me and just let me get shot if I feel like it? 'Cause I brought you some gifts."

Pocketing the silver, Viktor emptied the dust from his boots, and every other place it'd found its way into. He collected the procured supplies and took them to the ship's stores, which he noted were a bit low where alcohol was concerned. The pilot then went to find Miss Cross to discuss a quirk in the ship's handling he'd noticed during the recent landing. The sound of the wind blasting the hull outside was strangely soothing, he thought to himself as he walked.

Connal stared at her for a moment, silently weighing out the pros and cons of yelling at her. He decided in favor of saving time, his voice, and getting a cigar. He held out his hands for it and the money. "Fine, but you are going to help us load up the cargo this time. I don't care about your limp or what your last name is, thats the price for me not yelling at you. Get some work clothes on, we leave in thirty." He glanced at the bag of silver. "What did you have to do for that?"

The doctor sighed. "Cap'n, If I've told you once, I've told you twice: I'm as handicapped and independent as you are. I ain't a princess. I've spent days elbow deep in blood and gore. I'm not afraid of a little dirt." She turned and started to walk away. "I proved deadmen don't walk! I don't usually take on bounties, but I can't stand illogical bullshit like zombies." Sabrina called as she walked away to go change into a pair of pants.

((I realize this is a short one, but there isn't much to say))
Conall sighed, and walked back to his quarters, his right hand trailing along the wall as always, covering his blind-spot. He opened the safe above his bed in his very bare room, and stuck the silver and cigar inside. He walked over to the master speaker tube and announced to the whole ship, "All crew report to main hangar in 30 minutes, dress for heavy lifting. Kaleigh, please get the land rovers ready for shipping." He was about to close the tube, but then paused and said "Concealable weapons only, peaceful contact expected."
((Which would be Rick and Laura S.'s cue to get in here))

((Please excuse my post if it sounds like crap xD Its late and Im tired, but I wanted to help the plot along xp ))
Kaleigh was relaxing in the engine room when she heard the captain's announcement over the master speaker tube. She was reluctant to leave the one place she felt comfortable in this ship, but she knew her assistance was needed. No one rightly knew how to prepare the land rovers for a shipment. She chuckled at the thought of the crew trying to do her job. She jumped down from her resting place a top the machines and headed off to perform her craft.
"Ill be back soon. I promise."
She talked with the engines as if they were friends. Only they seemed to really understand her.
She opened the bay doors, revealing the land rovers which hid behind them. She lugged them out of their resting place, whipping out her tools. She adjusted the gears and checked to make sure everything was in working order. Upon passing inspection, she headed down to the main hangar, lugging the land rovers behind her.

Jinx sauntered down a dusty market place giving anyone who came to close to her personal space a snarl of discontent. She had to get away from this hell hole. Only being here for a week she couldn't find a job nor any shelter without wanting to kill the other people around her. Kicking the dirt a rock tumbled out of the ground. Shrugging she picked up the grainy brown rock. Just as she did she heard the rattle of dice. Her eyes cut down a alley way noticing a betting ring.
Smirking she cracked her neck and gathered a few more rocks. Lady luck was never on her side so she'd make some luck of her own...
After 6 rocks and 3 unaware men with lumps on their head, due to either a rock or her tool sack, Jinx came across some treasure. Enough trinkets to sell for extra tools and what really caught her eye was a ticket to some ship she never heard of. "Maybe this is my lucky break eh?" Laughing like a loon she skipped off before the robbed men could wake up. As she made her way to the ship she sang, "Help me, Bob, I’m bully in the alley! Way, hey, bully in the alley! Help me, Bob, I’m bully in the alley! Bully down in Shinbone Al!"

Jaden shook his head as he entered the Cargo bay, his katana at his side as always. “No weapons?” he asked, “That’s no fun now is it?” The last question was directed to no one in particular. Walking down to the deck the former spy shook his head again. “So, What is the job today?” He asked even though the captain wasn’t their.
