(Spectators are welcome, lol. XD It'll mainly be Jiyuu and Thanatos dueling though.)  "It's not like I did it on purpose!" Jiyuu replied, starting to become just a bit miffed. What was this guy's deal anyway? He honestly didn't see what the stony stallion was getting so worked up about. Frustrated, he pawed at the ground with his front hoof, his wings instinctively rising up on his back to make himself appear bigger. If the other stallion wasn't going to back down, then neither was he. "Who made you all high and mighty anyway?"

Up to you. o 3o))Thanatos stood his ground despite the flapping wings, lowering his head to point his horn at Jiyuu, looking rather much more peeved than he usually was. For a boy who ate just his vegetables, Than sure glowered nicely - whether he could fight well or not was another thing, of course, and this time he was angry enough to find out.
"No. What you did was unforgivable. It's just wrong," he replied. "Enough of you trying to talk your way out - let's settle this honourably!"

"Settle this 'honorably', eh? Fine then, have it your way!" He wasn't about to back down from some self-righteous jerk. If he wanted a fight, he'd give him one. Jiyuu lowered his head and charged forward at the other stallion, horn first.

"Nnnnh!" Thanatos was struck across the shoulder by his opponents horn as he tried to dodge to the side and failed. In order to stop Jiyuu from continuing his attack, the stone stallion locked horns with him in a head-to-head grapple.
If/when he managed to break the hold, he would rear up and recklessly attack with his front hooves. This winged fiend was going to pay for what he'd done.
((Read: Miss = did not break hold, hit = hooves.))

The crushing blow sent Jiyuu staggering backwards, the wind completely knocked out of him. He struggle to suck in breathe again, but wasn't finding much success. Half-blinded from the lack of oxygen, Jiyuu lunged forward with his horn again, not holding back this time.

Instead of staving off his opponent with what he thought was a pretty good blow, Thanatos received another one back. As Jiyuu's horn tore past his cheek, the stallion nearly lost an eye.
I'm looking to humble him, not to kill and disfigure, he forced himself to think as he danced away and slammed himself into the Aririn, trying to knock him off balance.
((Note: Damage from this roll is doubled due to the critical on Than's last turn.))

( Not completely doubled. +50%, lol. Pretty strong blow though. =0 )

Jiyuu had to admit, he was quite surprised by how strong his opponent was. The slam from the stallion was bad enough, but the resulting smack into a tree only added to the injury. Ok, I'm going to have to go at this another way. The airin moved around to the side and aimed a kick at the other stallion with his hind legs. Perhaps this would yield a move effective result.

Than grunted as back legs connected with a resounding "thump", causing the lightweight of a Sylrin to stagger to the side. It hadn't damaged anything vital, but he'd bruise later, and right now it felt weird when he moved. With a shake of his wild flame mane, he tried to gorge his opponent with his horn, holding back somewhat this time.
((-facepalm- My bad. Also, another critical. What the hell. xD))

(I don't believe cautious attacks have a critical hit, but that doesn't change the fact that you keep rolling so dang high. XD; lol.)

"Argh!" Jiyuu didn't seem to be fairing very well. At all. Even though his opponent had been holding back, he still managed to get a good slice across his side, as his injuries had prevented him from being able to evade quick enough. I'm not sure how much longer I can handle this. I need to turn things around quickly. Desperate to level the playing field a bit, the Airin thrust his body at the other, trying for a body slam. Of course, this move could very well just end up causing more damage to himself, but he had to try.

Than nearly fell over from the weight behind that slam, and was forced to do a small dance on the spot to rebalance himself.
At least he'd drawn blood, and apparently frenzied his opponent. A cool head was better to think, to strategise with.
Unwilling to bite his opponent, Than aimed a kick with his hind legs at Jiyuu's flank, trying to push the heavier stallion away with all his strength, before another slam came.

Jiyuu gave a pained grunt as the kick connected with his already bruised flank, forcing him away from his opponent. At least the body slam had worked fairly well. Knowing this might be his final attack, the stallion reared up onto his hind legs and came down heavily with his front, putting what little strength he had left into it.

The Aririn's front hooves barely nicked the scales on Than's back as he eeled gracefully out of the way. Jiyuu was obviously getting desperate - perhaps he was getting tired?
Time to end this with a good ol' wrestle. Once again, the stone Kirin charged his opponent, horn lowered, seeking to grapple, not to gouge.

It was more of a fluke that Jiyuu was able to dodge the attack really. His own missed attack had created for an awkward landing, causing him to stumble just out of the way of the other stallion's horn. Cooling down a bit not to attack so wildly, he aimed another kick at his opponent with his hind legs this time.

Than caught the blow fully in his chest, letting out all the air in his lungs. He made a private note to himself to avoid fights as much as he could. He didn't really want to dwell on his battle wounds right now, but he was pretty sure he'd feel them when he woke up the next day.
Thanatos regained his breath, reared up, and struck out with his front hoof, trying to end the battle before that chest injury could become a real problem.
