Called "Bent", about these guys who get sent to a nazi concentration camp. It was really depressing and made me cry.
But in the movie they used an upside down pink triangle to represent the gays that were sent to the camp. I find it interesting that they used that as the symbol for lesbianism. Our pride symbol.
Just a bit of history. ^^

interesting. Wonder if the nazis ever found out thats what they were using it for. Or if they were oblivious the whole time. I guess thats what would be the advantage to using such a basic shape, you could always just shrug it off as ordinary if someone called it out.

it's about paragraph 175 right?
I've heard of this movie and seen others like it and they always make me cry. The whole idea of the holocaust makes me depressed.
Schindler's List, though it doesn't address gay issues, makes me cry like a little girl.

Nurse Garland how old is this movie? i wanna see it now. idk has anyone watched the film yossi and jager? its about two gay men in military, its not all that great but its a tear-jerker Yossi and Jagger is SOOOOOOO sad crying I got all depressed after watching that movie crying
