Stay close to the Den, Sunisra...
Don't leave without one of your siblings, Sunisra...
Suni, Be Careful!
Suni, don't go to far! And make sure your sister is at least with you!

The Fayth's Diamond rolled her eyes as she trotted away from her family's den and Lands. It was no easy task to dodge the watchful eyes of her parents, thankfully, they were occupied with Kel's children for the afternoon... With Reykuri out hunting, Cas visiting his -whoever they were- and Kel off somwhere, it was the perfect chance... Her only chance, in all likelihood.
In no time at all, either Whistle or Ballad would call her in to sing the cubs to their nap.. Or watch them while Ballad went on patrole, or do some other small task... Her mother and father and siblings all meant well, truly, they did. And she could sense those good intentions down to the very heart of herself.. Which is what made it so hard to fight them when it came to things such as her freedom.
But she couldn't -COULD NOT- spend the rest of her life being led around by Casalure or one of her sisters. She couldn't bare to watch them scan the horizon for Aveshar, or hear them discussing his latest moves... They were all waiting for him to declare war on the pride, or attempt to kill her.
Meanwhile, they were doing just that. Killing her. Smothering her with all the 'Suni, Angel, would you do this? Suni, dear, don't go too far!'
"It's not far enough, Mother, Father.. But for now, it will have to do." She murmured as she stretched her legs and ran as far away from the pride, as fast as she could. She needed to go to the free lands, to wander like PyreDancer and Songstress always talked about. To just... Be Sunisra.
Whoever that was.

She ran until nothing looked familiar any more. Slowing to a walk, eyes flicking this way and that, Sunisra considered her surroundings with some sense of victory. No sign of her siblings, or her parents, or any of the wandering Angel families that felt loyalty to Whistle. No one to run and tattletail to where she was.
"Freedom."

It had been a while since Merikh had seen anyone. Not that he was missing company, or anything. His time alone had been refreshing, but he hadn't thought much of it; he had grown quite used to the comfortable silence that gave him space to think. That being said, he wasn't too excited, to say the least, to have a random stranger wander into his range of hearing.

Oh for the love of-

The lion growled lightly, raking his claws against the branch that he was perched upon. Merikh had inherited his grandmother's irritability and a natural dark allure from his father, though he was aware of neither. Just Merikh, no matter how little that seemed. Unknown to him, 'Just Merikh' contained more blood history that he could imagine. Part Sin, Part Elemental. Quite the combination, and it made for... interesting quirks, to say the least.

"Depends on your definition of 'free,' I suppose." Merikh lounged back on the branch, letting a leg hang over the edge. He gaze the lioness a passive gaze as she passed beneath him. She was new to these parts; he could see if in the way she looked around. He snorted, narrowing his eyes. "This isn't the best place to be wandering around in, lioness." The lion motioned to the area around her, where the forest met the grasslands. "What're you doing here?" He spoke with a dry, uninterested tone, his ears flicking and his head rested on a folded leg.

Somebody's in trouble...
Oh, you are so going to get it when Father figures it out...

For whatever reason, it was the scoldy voice Reykuri used in their cubhood that was ringing in her ears as she walked along. She hadn't heard that tone since their kithood, but it made her smile, and shake her head in amusement.
She wanted to see the world, and now was as good a time as any to start. That being said, where the heck was she?
The scent of other hit her nose like a slap, making her pause mid step, one paw in the air. Now that was interesting. Not like her family or the Spirits that so often visited... But... Not unlike them either. Who could that be?
The bored, sinful voice that drifted down to her was not unexpected -per se- but the quarter from which it came was quite the surprise. With a frown, Sunisra looked up, canting her head to the side to spot a male lounging in the branches.
Her definition of free could wait, for the moment. He obviously wasn't really interested in it anyway... Though he asked why she was there, he didn't sound like he cared. Then why ask?
"What is the best place to be wandering around then?" She countered with a flick of her tail. "Perhaps I shall seek it out next, once I have seen all to see in this place."
Demonics tended to lurk in the forest, or at least, that was the story. Perhaps she'd see one? That would be rather exciting. Pulled back from her consideration of the woods, she frowned up at him. "I'm wandering."
Just a bit petulant, Suni. Come now.
"I wanted to see something other than the Pride Lands of my Family and their allies... So I'm looking."
