Well I know the damn thing sucks.
But it can be used for something.
1. Horror games: Sanity dropper anyone? Heart Rate = Sanity. Goes higher = more s**t happens.
2. Trauma Center: The more it goes higher the more you are prone to mistakes.
3. Phoenix Wright: The more heartbeat the more the chances the jury turns on you.
4. FPS: Simple enough, the more adrenaline the best chance you can stay alive.

Yeah, well, obviously it could be used for masturbation.
But seriously,
1. It looks like you can't use the nunchuck attachment with the sensor so any hope of a real decent game is lost. (A serious developer would probably choose the nunchuck over the sensor)
2. I tend to have a faster rate when I'm struggling at a really hard parts in video games, so have to stop and calm down every minutes is a real pace breaker.
3. The whole thing is just a dumb idea.

Agreed.. Just freakin' agreed with everything you said man, except I don't really know about the nunchuk issue you mentioned.

The thing about marketing a bad product to the general public/non-gamers is that it doesn't have to be even half-decent or half-useful. They'll cling to it like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
It's the same thing as all the 8/9 year olds you see in the video game store buying games YOU KNOW are horrible.

There's subjectivity over which console pwnz1111
But the general consensus can agree that a certain game is just horrible. Whether the functionality completely ruins the gameplay, the game is chock full of glitches, errors, etc, etc.
You WON'T find one person who says this game is good:

Still, whether a game is good or not is subjectivity. 3nodding You can make the argument that you think it's bad due to glitches, etc but in the end it's still subjective on whether it definitely is. So is whether a movie or Cd is good or bad. People try to prove such a thing objectively but it still ends up coming down to subjectivity. One could argue that the 360 is a bad console because it has the RRoD. Is it true? To some it may be. To others it's not. An argument could be made for either side. Are any of them true? It's subjective. You can't use objectivity to prove subjectivity. Plus, isn't the general consensus just the most common/popular opinion about a game?

I liked that game. No, I actually had fun playing that game. I didn't care much for the campaign. But actually had I blast flying around the first area, picking up that car, throwing it, then trying to catch it again.

Not because of the gameplay or story progression, but because it is the best way to throw benches at people. EVER. Makes me glad that Nintendo made a tilt-sensing controller.
