Delaney walks through the forest, humming slightly to herself as she looks around for someone that might need help. It didn't matter what kind of job it was, or how difficult. If there was a way to help someone, she was more than willing to try. She sighs, sitting down on a stump nearby, resting her chin on her hands. "It's been awhile since I've run into anyone that needed any help whatsoever..." She says softly to herself, tail flicking slowly behind her.

Where was it he pondered searching for his little tablet and pen. Tzu Li his sister was notorious in hiding things, especially within a tree. He envied her for loving to climb and yet he just couldn't get the hang of it really. Frowning he looked upward and noticed something familiar. There rustling within the branches was his little book. The pen however was lying by his feet which he almost stepped on.
"Tzu!!!" he groaned in a higher tone shaking his head, " Why do you always do this to me?" Hanging his head he blinked again while shifting his large stripped tail.

Delaney's ears twitch slightly, hearing someone near, but not too near to where she currently sat. "Hrm?" Standing up, she starts walking in the direction she thought she'd heard a rather unhappy voice coming from. "Is someone there...?" She asks, peering through some bushes that blocked Liang Li from her view.

Had the wind whispered to him the young fae pondered as the breeze played in the leaves above him. Perking his ears he sniffed the air realizing someone was there with him. For a moment he forgot his notebook paying attention to his company. Retrial of his notebook would have to wait it was better karma to respect others when they spoke.
"Hello?' he responded with a flick of his ears as his tail swayed back and forth, "Yes I'm here... Who are you?"
Deep brown eyes sought out his visitor with curiosity.

Delaney smiles slightly, then struggles out of the bush she had been peeking through. "Sorry about that. I heard someone and came to see what the problem might be." She curtsies slightly before introducing herself. "My name is Delaney."

The younger stripped tail fae smiled back at her with curious eyes then his attention returned to his sister's handiwork. She was a very good climber and also she was studying her grandmother's books. So be it magic or pure deviousness his beloved book was stuck. It would of course be really rude to simply ask such a pretty young fae for help. But how else could a simple soul such as himself get up that high. His wings never really worked for him, and well he was a ground fae. Simply stating... he was afraid of heights.
"I sort of have a dilemma but um its not right to ask a lady to do something for a guy. I only wish I could..." he paused with a sigh, "fly that high like everyone else."
His eyes drifted back up to the book slowly sighing again, "My sister can be plain evil sometimes.

Delaney blinks, then looks up at the branch that seemed to hold Liang Li's attention. "I can see if I can get it for you, if you want? It won't be a bother or any trouble. I'd offer to help you learn to fly, but I don't think our wings work the same way." She says, her feathered wings shifting slightly.

Liang blinked looking at her with a small smile. Was she truthful in it not being that much trouble for her getting it for him he wondered.
"Umm well if its not too much trouble, I mean I don't want to make you do more then you have to and all..." now he was shifting his feet as his tail moved behind him. Tzu would get an earful when they came in contact that's for sure.

Delaney smiles again, then shakes her head. "It won't be any trouble for me. I like helping people out. It shouldn't take too long." She says, smiling again, then, flapping her wings, she slowly starts flying towards the branch the book was on.

Liang was still grumbling at his sister but soon lost his anger seeing the pretty fae flying toward his book. It mesmerized him so much to see her wings and how eloquent she carried herself. Oh how he wished he could fly too.
Alright," he called back to her grateful that someone atleast was taking the time to care.

Once up to where the book was precariously perched on a limb, she carefully picks it up, then floats back down to the ground, wings folding against her shoulders as she smiles brightly and hands Liang his book. "Even though we have different wings, though, I could try to help you learn to fly, if that is what you really wish?" She says, tilting her head to the side slightly, still smiling at him.

She may of been a pure like his aunt and yet her words of hope sung unto him like an angel. The sheer thought of learning to fly was a dream come true. He paused for a moment scratching his head. Just how could she teach him anyway?
Clearing his throat he smiled at her pushing that thought back, "Yes. It is my dream to learn for I won't have to have pretty angels seeing me in distress like this."
She was so nimble retrieving the book like she did. It was frivolous to say otherwise.

Delaney taps her chin in thought, going over various ways she thought might help Liang Li to learn to fly. "Well, to start off, are you afraid of heights? One method of learning to fly, which is actually how I learned, was to climb up high into a tree and leap off, then concentrate on fluttering your wings as fast as possible to keep yourself airborn. It probably won't work immediately, but I'd be right there with you in case anything happened."

He blinked at her question as he shook his head. He couldn't say if he was truly afraid or not. He supposed that his feet just were so used to staying on the ground that he was used to it that way.
"Well err its not the flying part that bothers me. Its the climbing that goes with it. I guess me being on the ground has made me used to being there. Kind of hard to explain.'
Now he felt awkward trying to explain such a predicament. How do you explain being part faebear and not being able to fly or climb to such a pretty stranger he wondered.

~*There's no memory of my life. I don't even know how to love.*~ Delaney taps her chin in thought, then, seeming to come to a decision, nods and grins, holding a hand out to Liang Li. "I do know of a place we could try from. It'd be safer than trying to leap out of a tree, at any rate, since there'd be water beneath you." She was, of course, thinking of taking him up to the top of the falls and leaping off with him to help try to teach him to fly. ~*In the boundless world tell me reason. Why am I alive?*~
