Angelus stalked to Di's den with a grin, tonight was the night, the voice within him had been tamped down cruelly. He had fed on the blood of innocents and Dru's words had given him the encouragement he needed. Tonight the slayer would die and he would drink deeply of her blood, he would be free of her intoxicating memory.

He walked into the female demonic's den without bothering to ask. "Come, tonight you my sweet shall aid me in destroying the Slayer..." He was certain he would find her with ease, and this time she wouldn't be able to run. Angelus was going to find her clams and make certain that the fight would be to the death. The thought almost made him skip, almost...

'Di started within the darkness of her den at his words and a cold chill went through her. The Slayer... She was something like her own father, how could she be doing this?
"Yes, Angelus," she said softly and quickly followed him. She wanted to drag her feet, but she had a good feeling that would just make him angry with her.

"Listen well my little one...you will shred the slayers wings from behind to keep her from escaping and then stand back. You will not interfere in this battle, once I have tasted the Slayer's blood...you might be rewarded with a taste of your own. I know slayers blood might not be to your liking but I might be convinced to share myself with you...if you do well." He added with a soft growl of warning.

"If for some reason you get any noble ideas, I feel obligated to remind you of what could happen to not only your family but your friends as well." He smirked back at her before moving swiftly in one direction his nose twitching. He knew almost exactly where the slayer was, his nights had been a relentless search for a re-match and now he was ready.

Buffy had stuck close to the den.. Unwilling to go far with the clams that lay inside the den, together in a group of three.
One was a pretty white and yellow, the other was spiked, and rather dangerous looking.. The middle looked like a normal clam..Or at least that she would assume was normal.

She sat by the entrance of her den, staring inside, her mind thinking of the babies that would be born one day.
"What did I do..Bringing you guys into this world?"
She asked, her heart breaking at the thought of them getting hurt, which they undoubtedly would one day.

'Di frowned softly at his words. Her family, her... He knew about her friends, few as they were. Damn. There was no turning back now, none. To protect her family, her friends, she would have to tear away the wings of another. Blacken her soul.
"I'm not stupid. And I've... never been noble," she hissed softly back, her eyes narrowed slightly as she stared forward.
It'll be worth it, in the end, she told herself. It was her silent mantra. And yet she couldn't help but doubt herself as she followed the devil in otter form.

Angelus chuckled and paused a ways form the den before looking at Di. "Go on, she'll be in the den, lure her out...I don't care how you do it...and rip her wings off...I'll come running once I smell the blood." He smirked and slipped into the shadows of the brush, unable to get too close without Buffy smelling him and going on alert.

But Buffy had never even met Di and probably wouldn't see that she was a demonic until it was too late. His poor little slayer...it always seemed just one moment too late for her.

'Di swallowed slowly and took a slow breath as she approached, putting on a somewhat cheerful face. She hadn't expected to find the female already outside of her den. She swallowed again, but did her best not to outwardly show any nervousness. For her family. For her friends.
"Good evening, miss. I'm so glad I finally found someone," she said as she approached slowly. She tilted her head and glanced around.
"I've gotten terribly lost. Is the main river near here? Please tell me it is, I really don't like being out after nightfall..." she said, stopping close, but not too close. She needed time to prepare. She wasn't a killer like Angelus. It would take a minute for her to get up the ability to attack.

Buffy was suspicious of the demonic female.. As would be normal. She no longer trusted any one. She was hurt, and broken.
But her pups didnt have to be.

"Good evening." She said, turning her body to where her back was to her clams, and her body sort of blocking the entrance.

"Youve been alone?"

"No, actually," 'Di replied and gave the other otter a rather sheepish look.
"I was with a... a friend, but I stopped to admire some wildflowers and he must not have noticed. Next thing I know, I'm all alone and lost and... And I'm really sorry, but I really don't want to be out here much longer. I... I don't like the dark," she finished, hanging her head with a sigh.
You can do this, 'Di, she told herself. Images of her family flashed through her mind. For them...

She smiled slightly, she wasnt one to ve mean.

"Well..Youre welcome to come inside if you like.. I cant turn someone whose afraid of the dark out into it can I?"
She asked, chuckling a bit, curling her wings to her back.

But still..She felt cautious.

"Oh, I couldn't impose!" 'Di replied quickly, taking another step towards the other female and raising one paw to wave it back and forth in an attempt to dissuade her. She'd screw things up if the Slayer went back into the den. But if she turned to lead 'Di within...

Buffy stopped midstep, and looked back at Di. Well she certainly was odd.. Didnt she want to get out of the dark?

"Okay, then can I help you with something?" She asked, turning once to glance at her clams, just to make sure they were still safe and warm.

"Directions would be-" she began but was interrupted by a thunderclap. She involuntarily jumped and used that to her advantage.
"Maybe a few moments inside would be nice, perhaps my friend will come by..." she mumbled in a soft tone, though loud enough that the Slayer would be able to hear and understand her words.

She smiled, nodding once more, and turning to head into the darkness of her cave.
"You are welcome to stay the night, should your friend not come by until morning."

She said, nodding, and looking over her shoulder once, before looking forward once more.

It was then or never.
"God forgive me..." she prayed softly and lunged at the female, using her claws and teeth to tear viciously at Buffy's wings. As the blood flowed into her system, her blue eye darkened until it matched the other, a slight glow coming to them as bloody tears fled her eyes.

Buffy let out a scream, before turning around to face her opponent.
"What the HELL."
She snarled, lowering her body in a defensive stance.
Did she know she was messing with a slayer? Baby weight now gone, Buffy had been training more than ever.
But her wings ached, bleeding and dripping bloody feathers onto the earth.

She was confused, but she had began to expect it from this place.. Why had her watcher sent her here....

Angelus raced at the sound of Buffy's voice and the rich scent of slayer blood and with a grin he burst in from the side to tackle her. Ah victory would be his today, his tail lashed viciously as his claws, fangs, and spikes moved in ready for action.

Yellow eyes glowed with feral intensity as he growled. "Miss me baby?"

It was now two against one.. Not good odds, but not impossible either.
She grinned a bit, a dark chuckle escaping her maw.

"I sure did, baby. Come over here, and let me show you how much."
She growled the words through clenched teeth, before preparing herself to fight him. Her fists, just as dangerous as her legs, though she knew it was anyones fight.

'Di backed away slowly, her eyes wide as red tears continued to stream down from her eyes. Oh God, oh God. Her teeth chattered and yet it was all she could do not to return to the fight. The angelic's blood was... rather good. Maybe she didn't have her father's taste after all.
But Angelus had told her not to interfere... So she controlled herself and stayed back.

His eyes raked over her a for a moment he felt the lust surge before he realized...she was missing the bump. He snarled and raked at her with his claws trying to lay open her stomach. How dare she! He would kill her and then find those clams and destroy them as well, she wouldn't be able to hold sway over him.

He moved with her closer and closer taking the hits without care but refusing to let her pause for a moment's breath. He would wring every drop of fight out of her and then suck every drop of blood out of her.

Buffy threw fist after fist, and some connected, others he blocked easily.
She was a slayer, but she did not have infinite stamina.
She backed away, moving away from him as he moved towards her, still throwing her punches, and defending herself.

She knew if he got to her, she would be dead. There would be no raising her clams.. There would be only death.. And her clams would join her in the great sky..

She wanted to cry at the thought, and her fists flew a bit harder with the thought.

Angelus winced slightly and growled as her ferocity seemed to swell, damn her slayer strength. Still he pushed her back grinning as he realized soon she would be backed against the mountains unforgiving stone. If he could just pin her...

He ducked and moved to try and sweep her paws out from under her counting on her injured wings to knock her off balance. His growls were frighteningly intense now his eyes never moving from the petite form infront of him.

She did keep backing up, but she knew the wall would be there shortly.. But she was stuck.. Oh well it was no matter. He would not be able to get her if she kicked up her back legs when he thought he had her.

So she did go back, and purposefully looked for the wall.
She was knocked down from the swipe of his legs, but she tried to roll away quickly, out of his path.

Angelus leapt after her moving to pounce on her back trying to pin her down his tail lashing at her while he drove at her with his claws and spikes. Now he had her...he just needed to finish her off, his eyes blazed with intensity. A deep snarl escaped him as he fought with her, his body ached but nothing would stop him now.

The intense rage of battle filled him and his nose was attuned to her blood, nothing would distract or deter him. Even as he felt the weakened part of him cry out struggling to escape and begging him not to do his wicked deed.

She struggled against him, but she was successfully pinned to the earth. His paws held hers back, and he was sitting on her, glaring over her with evil in hsi eyes.
He hated her, when all she had ever done was love him.
She knew it was done. He had her, she couldnt move..
"My babies.." She sighed, a soft whisper..as if to the wind.

"Will be taken care of..." He growled out viciously before moving in and ripping her throat open to guzzle her blood greedily. Power filled him, intense pleasure, and deep down a painful tug. He growled and ignored the ache within as he continued to gorge himself on the slayers blood.

His claws tangled in her hair as he pulled her closer against his chest to drink deeper. He growled against her ear "You don't know how much I love you Buffy...now you'll always be mine." He pressed his fangs to her ravaged neck once more to finish. From behind they might have been mistaken for a pair of lovers, but the bloody scene was not one borne of love.

Buffy gasped as her throat was torn. Her eyes widened, she looked almost frantic.. She was dying.. This was it. How ironic that her love would kill her..
And now that monster had her children.
She was no more... But her vision was fading, as he pulled her body to him. She heard his words, and a small tear fell from her eyes.

She shuddered a bit, bleeding openly into his maw.
And then her life blew out of her, and her eyes went lifeless.
The slayer had been bested. Now a new one, would be called.

Deep within the cave one clam shuddered and glowed softly before the pale light faded leaving it looking the same as before...for as the life of one Slayer was extinguished so quickly another had been called.

Angelus held the lifeless body of the slayer close for a long time slowly stroking her hair back before dropping her to the ground. He stood over her his breathing ragged before slowly turning and storming into the den. His yellow eyes narrowed on the three clams and he growled softly quickly scooping them up he moved to throw them into a pool of their mothers blood.

'Di had been struck mute in horror at the scene, unable to move.
Until he picked up the clams.
"Angelus, wait!" she cried out quickly, running to him. She didn't touch him, but looked from the clams to his face, red eyes meeting yellow.
"We... They're just babies, never seen another otter. They could... They could be useful..." she sputtered, trying desperately to save the innocent lives.

Angelus eyes narrowed on the demonic female before he shrugged "Fish them out then...useful..." He snorted and shrugged. "I suppose Dru would be entertained enough by them...lets take them to the den and pry them open." He turned his back uncaring if one of the clams drowned in it's mothers blood before Di would have the chance to pull them all out.

'Di scrambled about, retrieving the clams as her own body soaked in the spilled blood from the ground and their shells. She shuddered at the feeling but did her best to ignore it as she wiped the blood from the saved clams. She sighed before carefully tucking two into the crook of one arm, the normal one held carefully in her mouth as she headed slowly back towards her den.
She had killed their mother, or helped at least. She would do her best to make it right by them.
