Aidan padded alongside his mate Ozzie, a warm happy smile spread across his lips. The way he held himself and walked, the very air around him showed the happiness he felt. Finding her was the last thing he'd expected, but the best thing to happen to him. And to think it had all started with a game and a hunt...
Now that he'd asked her to be his and she'd accepted, they could be seen searching for a place to call their own. Part of him, a small part that nagged at him, reminded him that he'd never left his home before. But that was always quickly forgotten.

Ozzie peered around, her eyes scanning the landscape over the top rims of her sunglasses. Finding Aidan had drastically changed the way her life had been going, which was all for the better, when she looked back on everything.
Still, as they searched for a play to live, everything from back then was nagging at her - everything that she had not yet had time to tell him. She felt guilty about it, and couldn't help but hope that a time would come up to tell him, and show him the scars of her past.
Pushing these thoughts from her mind, she bumped him lightly, easily keeping step while doing so. "This is harder than I thought."

Aidan chuckled a bit when he felt her bump against him. He nudged back playfully and grinned at her warmly. "That it is. I've never had to choose a home before though. I just know the basics needed. Shelter from the weather, protection from others creatures, and location, knowing where a source of water and food is located."
As he'd always been raised, he focused on the most important things for survival. It had been difficult growing with the father he had. He was taught early on how to hunt and what it meant to die. How you could starve, drown, or even drop from heat exaustion.

"That true," she replied, tilting her head slightly, "But prides have claimed a lot of good places... So finding an empty place it frustrating." She meant it in a way that applied to the present, and as if pulling from the back of her mind. There was more than one reason that she wandered.

"You must've traveled for a long time to know that." He looked to his mate for a moment before licking her cheek. "Oh hey! I see something!" With that he took off, running toward a cave next to a river, grasslands on the other side of the river.
