ok i missed the sony part while i was out of town
but i heard that there is a new redesigned PS3 on the way???
also...what are you thoughts on Sony's part in E3?

i only saw part of it to the MAG live demo, but from what i heard they are on top of their game right now

really...they did that well??
a friend of mine was bragging to me how the 360 is finally getting their own MGS...i just replied to him and said, "so you're happy about finally getting your own version of MGS, when the PS3 is getting its own Ninja Gaiden exclusive...i fail to see your logic in this one" xD
he never replied back

The 360 got a multiplatform MGS game (PS3, 360, PC) http://pc.ign.com/articles/991/991060p1.html. Metal Gear Solid Rising is an action game with Raiden as the lead character. Not really anything to brag about as it has Raiden as a lead character and it is not a really trueish MGS game. I did not really watch any of the E3 conferences I just skimmed through the IGN pages to see if anything caught my eye. There were a few things that caught my eye for all three but besides that they were all either stuff we already knew or expanding on some other stuff. To me the only HUGE surprise was Metroid Project M and FF14 (which is just some MMO). Also there was no price drop or redesigned PS3. That was all rumors to begin with.

People start to talk about a price drop or redesign and it grows, MOST of the time it doesnt even come from someone related to Sony in the first place and then the media gets a hold of it and it explodes. Then people are sad when it doesnt come. FF IV is supposed to be their next big MMO, pretty much to replace XI.

Thorr-axe (GGB member) got the code for that as well but he was not so impressed because he doesnt game online all the time. The playable demo they had at E3 looked wonderful.

But I do not mind having it or beta testing it. I have to say the demo added a fair bit of interest, the new option to be able to create cover is great.
