Laylah puffed out a breath, slightly angry. It streamed out into a mist as it met the cold air around her. She'd show her family she could handle herself by her lonesome. She had been running fr quite some time, andwas just now growing tired. She doubted any of her sissy siblings could ever keep up with her, even if they tried.

Vilem wandered around the forest, collecting some fruit while the bushes and trees were bearing it. It was a bit chilly for the start of summer, but the evening was beautiful.

Laylah was grumbling to herself, not even paying attention to any noises that might be around her. As she pushed through a bush, she stepped right into a big namir. With wide eyes, she looked up at the namir, runn9ing if she should run or stand her ground.

Vilem had been so consumed with pickig and looking for fruits he hadn't even noticed a much younger namir as she bumped into him. He wouldn't ahve noticed at all if it wasn't for the fruit falling out of his arms. He turned to look at her, and thought she was much too young to be out alone at this hour.

Her face hardened into trying to make a glare, but on such a young face, it just looked like she was pouting very hard. "If juu wish to die, Dhen go ahead and attack!" Her voice broke a little "I shall conqour juu!"

Vilem blinked before chuckling a little. "Guess I have to be careful if I even think about being mean to this little warrior, right?" He laughed a little to himself again before beginning to pick up his dropped fruit.

SHe nodded "No one dares to mess with me!" SHe blinked as he picked up the fruit. She picked up one and held it out for him to take "But.... I'm a lad warrior.... So I can be nice too." A grin flashed onto her face. Now that she didnt sence he would do any evil, she had no use for words of attack.

Vilem nodded as he continued to pick some up. "I bet that's right." He smiled at her as she handed him a peice of fruit. "Thank you" He placed it on top of the pile. "So where's your parents? It's a little late to be wandering out alone, isn't it?"

She gave a little puff and sat, her back straight and her chest puffed out regally. "I can take care of myself... I dont need them" She paused and said softly "They never even go on adventures with me..." And looked to the ground sadly

Vilem nodded. "So it seems..." he thought for a moment before speaking again. "I have a proposition for you. How about if I take you back to your family tonight, and leter I can take you on an adventure if they say it's alright? Do we have a deal?"

She backed up slowly as she frowned "I dun wanna go... Its boring there. And they never play with me. I wated to have an adventure before I went back...." Her voice trailed off

Vilem thought for a seccond, he couldn't just let the kit stay away from her home. Not that he cared though, he thought. "Well how about this, we can have an adventure on the way back?"

The kit thought for a while, the replied softly "Oka...If I have to." She looked around for the path she had taken, but couldnt find it "Uhhh, you can lead the way <_< >_>"

"Yes, you have to." Vilem replied flatly. He looked around and sweatdropped. "You don't remember where you came from?" He mumbled to himself, "Boy, this is going to be one hell of an adventure indeed."

She shook her head "No... I hadent learned map making yet in my lessons, so I cant remember where I came from.,...." Though the truth was she hadent had any lessons at all in the way of a warrior knight. She only dreamed of such things.

Vilem sighed. "Well I guess we'll just have to guess. Do you know what the area around where your family lives is like?"

She thought for a moment "We live in a house..... surrounded by a huge feild." She thought a little more, scrunching her eyes shut as if concentrating very hard "Theres a small pond not a far ways off either."

"A house... by a feild... and a pond." He said to himself as he thought, trying to remember if he knew naywhere like that. He had a vauge memory form when he had just arrived of someplace like that, so he figured he'd try to find his way there first. "Well, what do you say we start on our adventure?" He set al lthe fruit down, he'd come get it later

Laylah bounced up, excited for any adventure "Okay ^__^. Uhm... whats your name anyways?" She smiled and waited for him to walk "I think you should always know your companions name. And mine is Laylah."

He started to walk forward, hoping the kit would follow. "I'm Vilem. You have a pretty extensive vocabulary for your age, Miss Laylah."

"Mamma says its good to know what others are saying." She grinned slightly devilishly and began to talk again "Hi hyd yn oed tought 'm Cymraeg! er Fi dont 'n sylweddol adnabod paham fi d angen at adnabod 'i."

Vilem nodded in agreence. "You're mother is wise then." He blinked and sweatdropped at the jibberish to him.

Laylah walked proudly "Yeah, I'm not very good at it yet.... But someday I'ma spoke Welsh just as good as Mamma!" She heried to try and keep up with the biger namir.

So that was Welsh, Vilem wondered to himself. He slowed a little so the kit could keep up, though he didn't think he would mind if she wandered off and got lost. Atleast then she wouldn't be his problem,

Laylah looked around at all the plants, taking in the sight while her 'adventure' lasted. "So Mister. Do you go on adventures a lot?"

Vilem shook his head. "Not really, this would be my first."

She gave a tiny gasp "Really? How do you live without going on adventures!? I'd get so bored...." She gave a tiny chuckle then "Well, I did get bored."

Vilem chuckled. "when you are an adult there are more important things to worry about than going on adventures. Such as finding shelter and food daily. It can become an adventure in itself just trying to obtain the necessities of life."

She tilted her head "But Mamma brings me food... why would I need to worry about that? And Sela lets me stay there cause Mamma and Daddy and the rest live there too." she wondered why should ever need to find shelter ad food when she already had it.
