Introduce yo' fine self here, natch. I'm Tuatha De. Or just Tua, or 2D, or De, or Laurence sometimes. But I mostly respond to Tua. I am 20 years old (21 this June 26th! woo!) and a junior in college with a double major in English and environmental studies. I love marine and estuarine ecology, science fiction, fantasy, science in general, being a smartass, writing and doodling and coloring for fun, making bizarre innuendos, and several fandoms that I should have outgrown at least five years ago. I dislike poorly controlled children, the anti-environmentalist movement, people who are wrong on the Internet, and writing when I am forced to do it. Fun fact about me: when I am plotting for a scene, I will frequently shut myself in a quiet room and actually speak the dialogue aloud, sometimes several times with varying tones and word choice, in order to make it feel natural. I tend to pace and imitate body language of the characters as well. Sometimes people walk in on me while I'm doing it, and that awkward moment never gets any less awkward. 8D

I dislike greed, and how society today seems to revolve around it. I love to randomly gift my friends, and the occasional nice person. heart
I'm one of those people who doesn't really stand out in real life, mainly because I prefer to stay in the corner with my nose stuck in a book that is either SciFi, Fantasy, or Manga. I've found I tend to get along more with Nerds and Geeks than preps...

Guuuh. I'm Dimitri Obsidian, and I fail at introducing myself. I get called a lot of things, but Dimi and Mitri seem to be the most popular. I'm 21 and a recent graduate with a major in English and a minor in Creative Writing. I like writing. I like writing alot. I also like animals (I am partial to canines, rats, and birds), reading, and listening to the radio. I dislike extremes of either temperature, rude people, and maggots (not in the Repo! sense; like actual larvae).
Edited fun fact: I have an obsession with research. I tend to have awesome ideas, research them, and then sometimes stop right there to make up new ideas so I can research new things. My characters hate it when I do this.

My name is giftwrapped, call me Gift, Gifty, just about anything you want, so long as you specify that it's me you're talking to. I'm nineteen and going into my sophomore year of college, where I'm majoring in English and minoring in Communications. For the moment. I like...most things, to be honest. I'm generally a reasonably cheerful person.
But space opera, high fantasy, King Arthur, musicals, late-seventies/early-eighties sci-fi horror movies, and basically all Western warrior cultures are things I really like. I also like Vikings, Celts, Anglo-Saxons, and Ivan the Terrible. I can basically recite the entirety of Beowulf, though not in Old English yet.
As for things I dislike....I'm not a huge fan of idiots, rude people, being lied to, snobbery, and most pop-culture phenomena that have come out of Japan (anime and manga included, with exceptions). I also don't like children, or people who are WRONG on the Internet. Tua and I seem to have fairly similar taste, actually.
Fun fact about me: When I'm roleplaying, I will make the same expressions as my characters and will, in fact, often respond to posts aloud to my computer, in my characters' voices. I do fair impressions, too.
And I like writing long posts about myself. >>

Hello! I'm Patmos! I'm 25 and a girl that sometimes understands things from a guy's perspective. I like fuzzy kitty bellies, cracking my neck, all my friends, and RPing. I dislike the shrieks of the young, post-styles (all of them. I have bad eyes and its hard to read tiny-type and yes I am aware of the ability to change font sizes but then just anybody could read the dirty fanfics or RPs I have on the screen), and being bored.
Fun fact: I draw layouts for all the buildings I make for my characters, a habit gained from my mother, who doodles lots of house-plans.
I have a terribly active imagination, and picture just about everything that everyone says to me or that I read. This is bad when my dad starts talking about his sex life. Not pretty.

Greetings! Your dream is here, for I am Waffles! Okay, enough sillies. I'm 24, and rather gender ambiguous, though generally refer to myself as a guy. That being said, I will answer to any name or gender you stick on me, cause I'm just crazy like that. I live with my boyfriend, my mother, and all of our cats, in the middle of nowhere. I work night shift clicking buttons for the robot overlords, which barely pays the bills, but at least keeps me in food and internets. I like rain, cats, music, the written word, and randomness that isn't grounded in stupidity. I don't like shoes, telephones, extremely hot weather, and most children under the age of 14.
I'm starting to get back into reading actual books, which I completely blame on Kaiven, after a few years of almost exclusively reading fanfic. What can I say? Most of it is waaaaaay more entertaining than the vast majority of fantasy and scifi on the shelves right now, and it's free. :3 I'm also trying to drag my a** back into RPing, once again after 3 or so years of not. This is not the fic's fault, though; I blame WoW entirely.
Fun Fact: I can memorize most of almost any song's lyrics and melody after listening to it less than 5 times. Well, as long as I'm consciously listening to it, not just catching parts of it in a store or something.

I'm Nessie! Hihi! I'm a 17 year old girl turning 18 on August 18th and heading off to college in the fall. Yay! My major is Biology. I love science, and I enjoy learning. (about things I find interesting) I love animals; they're my passion. I enjoy reading, writing, drawing and some othe stuff. I'm a Secret Life of the American Teenager fan. Woo! And...stuff...I like Star Trek and Star Wars. 8D I'm into action movies. Hate hate hate horror movies. Love romance.

Hello all who actually care to read this! welcome to your doom something I will try to make extremely painful as short and sweet as possible!
Anyways, I'm Jibiki, though my other account is Akari Touei. I've been called many things, among which are: Jibi, Biki, Jibs, etc. On the other one...Many many names.
Irl I'm 17 (just made it! 8D Woohoo!), male, and all around strange guy. I like all kinds of people, and I tend to try to be a peacemaker between my friends. I like to think I'm logical, even though I have to add 12 sheets of paper to the chart that is the linear motion that is my thought...And those extra pages are going up and down, not left and right ^^;
I tend to empathize with almost any character I see...Like, I'll watch Doctor Who for about an hour and I'll be overly happy ALL the time, talk like a madman [most likely in a british accent], and when I'm p*ssed off I make really, REALLY serious threats. Or when I watch House I become overly sarcastic and just like to screw with people >D
This empathatic effect is best when it's someone else's idea and in video form (aka- TV shows), but sometimes it happens with my written characters as well. Though most of my written characters are so much like me that I don't change much. ^^;
Something else kind of interesting about me: I've begun to catch myself talking in accents...I'll be blabbing away, not paying attention, then realize I've been talkin like a bloomin' Brit! Or I'll be chatting with friends and realize I'm talkin with a thick theeuck southern ak-sent.
So yeah, been watchin too much Docta Who. Sorry! xD

Okay, I've got to get my character profile done, so I'm gonna do this short and add more later.
To start things off, call me Envy. I took my name after my favorite anime character (yes, I'm into that stuff, but only the action-y ones), and I like the name "Envy". I am a girl, even though I like to get boy pets.
Another important fact: I'm 13. Was that a shock? Oh well, you'll just have to live with it. <3
I am a music addict; if I don't listen to at least one of my favorite songs a day I get jittery and in a bad mood. And no one wants that. I love rock; my favorite band since I was about seven is Linkin Park.
I like anime (as I said before), some of my favorites are Code Geass, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Darker Than Black. I like video games, too. Final Fantasy VII, Super Mario Smash Bros., Turok, Halo 1, 2, and 3, just to name a few.
I love to cook and am very good at it, especially for a 13-year-old. I also love animals, mainly cats, rabbits, and komodo dragons.
Fun Fact: I like fire. Alot. But I don't burn places or things, it is just pretty. Oh, I can pick a lock with four bobby pins in a few minutes. Lucky for you I rarely have bobby pins with me.
Beware of the 13-year-old pyromaniac who can pick locks with ease. <3

HI. You can call me Jellybeans. My account is named after my cat, Jellybean, who has 24.5 toes. She's really an exceptionally dumb animal, but she's good for the snuggling. I'm sixteen, soon to be seventeen. People who like me tell me I act much older that I am, people who don't always tell me I'm very immature. I'm weird- the vast majority of people don't get me. Some learn to deal with it and find me fun to hang out with, some can't accept that anyone thinks in a different way than they do. My habits include trying to sleep, sleeping, and messing around on the interwebs and photoshop. If I don't care one way or another about something, I'll tell you. Don't keep asking me, make up your own mind. I tend to be very open-minded, so if you don't have a problem with me I probably don't have a problem with you. If I disappear off the face of the interwebs, it is because I'm easily distrac- oo look kitty.

My account name? That of a character of mine that the account avatar looks nothing like.
I'm a computer scientist turned hydrologist (I guess? It's in the job description) with very boring interests that I will not elaborate on. Yay, mystery!
And I'm 21. Some of you (you know who you are, teenagers) make me feel oldish.
