oo Credits -No posting here unless given permission. I run a pretty tight ship, sometimes I do have rp in the journal [usually when dealing in or around the home]. If you're the staff or dropping off something, it's cool.
- If you are invited to post in this journal, it means the rp will be accelerated. I will be posting within the day you do, or one day after. We will move the rp along as quickly as possible so that the journal is not restricted from entry.
- I try to keep things timely. Feel free to poke me ONLY after I have not posted a response to you after a week's time.
- No godmodding in rp will be tolerated. I will ask your permission before I manipulate your character [to move the rp along] and you will treat me with the same respect. Or I simply shut down what we have going.
- Feel free to PM me! I like there to be a plot to a rp, though I realize not everything needs to be uber interesting. If you have an idea for what we should do, perhaps something Milton/my Raevan might be fit to help your character in/with, go on and run it by me.

 11.27.09- The cert has been updated to include the captured soul!10.20.09- The soul has been captured, and a new tenant has joined the Fettua home. OOCly I'm awaiting the next stage art to proceed.06.04.09- Holy s**t guys, the bottle and essence has officially arrived.

Fel EssenceGlowing Moon Rock- Without the use of modern day lights or chemicals, all objects reflect natural light from the sun. Even on the darkest night, the moon itself can claim no credit for the glow that it emits among the stars. However, in the case of this particular chunk of moon, the rule does not apply. Because this piece of the heavens fell into this world during the great storm, it now possesses a light all its own. Shut it up in the darkest, most enclosed room and it still shines brightly. Captured SoulPooka/Púca- One of the Irish faery creatures of folklore, the Pooka is a shape-shifter. They may take many forms, most commonly the horse, dog, rabbit, or eagle. No matter what the form, however, it is almost always dark in color, and can be easily be identified by its glowing, yellow eyes. The Pooka is a benevolent trickster, and while it does enjoy waylaying innocents and scaring the crap out of people, it isn't vicious. More often than not, it will guide travelers to the right path before disappearing. As opposed to the Kelpie (who drowns and may also eat its riders), when the horse form of the Pooka has a person on its back, it simply takes them for a very wild ride before depositing them safely. They are also known to come sit and tell wild tales to people who live in the countryside.
The Pooka whose soul resides in this Raevan took the form of a dog when it met (and scared) Milton. Despite its ancient age, it retained a jokester's attitude, and was leading the wizard out of its forest when it met its untimely end.

 Milton Fettua is a man of many talents and little tolerance. He has chosen his niche as a (relatively) self-taught wizard, a profession he himself would believe to be very close to that of a scientist. He doesn't believe in intuition when it comes to magic, and despises those who practice the art without even knowing what exactly they're doing. Maybe his constant scrutiny is what is weighing him down from becoming something he himself can be proud of, but he will argue that it all has to do with his age and appearance (most notably his lack of a suitable beard). Make no mistake, he can cast some pretty nasty spells, you certainly wouldn't want to press him, but he is marked by a constant self-doubt and high expectation. Milton won't be satisfied until he can cast miracles, and even then maybe not. His mind is always looking toward glorification.
While he may be hard on himself, one could make a point in saying he's even more harsh to those around him. He comes off as terse and sarcastic around others, but can be relaxed in his own home. He would prefer the company of his rat, Celsior, over any human contact. And yet somehow he won't dress in anything other than elaborate robes in public, all of which he has tailored himself. Huh.
Currently just hitting his thirties, Milton is characterized by carrot orange hair and angular features. He stands around six feet tall and is of an average, if a bit more fair-boned, size give or take a little bit of a gut. He sports a short, red beard that is still very close to his cheeks and chin despite his best wishes. He's human, so aside from whatever he decides to wear he's not very outstanding. Never seen outside of his home without his wizard staff.

Adam is Milton's first child, born of a mysterious machine in the shape of a cabbage. He is a golem, formed of clay and much more powerful than any human his age. Only a mere kid at the moment, he is affable but doesn't seem to be the brightest of crayons. [Origin: The Cabbage Patch, Journal here]
Byron is a mysterious young man who has now taken up (supposedly) temporary residence in Milton's humble abode. He is poetic and a bit wild, although a bit capricious. He is responsible for caring for Adam when Milton cannot (or will not) as well as dragging the grumpy wizard out of the house. His main qualities include singing, reciting poetry, looking pretty, and generally annoying the living hell out of his landlord.

  Milton built his house against the rocks in a place known as Durem Caves North. He is secluded far out in this area for the most part, with properties few and far between. He is a good distance away from any cities and enjoys his time alone.
The house is two stories high and built of brick. His roof is shingled and there is a long chimney extending along the rock face. From the outside it looks a little oblong, but cozy. More details on the inside of the house later. Mostly it's a tribute to Milton's nerdiness.
Since his home is far from civilization, Milton's main way of getting around is flying on his bearskin rug. ******** magic carpets.

Celsior would not be called a pet by any means. He is a resident of the home in which Milton and Adam share. Sure, he happens to be a rat, but that doesn't make him any less lovable. He's about the size of a small dog, and about ten times more intelligent. He and Milton have been 'partners' for a while now, how they met being neither relevant nor particularly recalled. Celsior is good-humored when he's not being moody, and provides suitable conversation when he has the time.The thing isn't even born yet.
