Taking place Saturday, June 6 in celebration of International Lolita Day, Kinokuniya Bookstore, located at 1073 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan, will present a day-long series of activities highlighting the diverse world of cute, cool, elegant, and hip Lolita fashion in modern Japan.

I'm so jealous of you guys. I want to celebrate lolita day... ;______; *pokes San Jose Kinokuniya*
Instead, I'm going to a stupid family party. And I can't even wear lolita there, because they'll mock me. ;____________;
Oh well. I might throw on something, take a few HAPPY LOLI DAY photos and then spend the day avoiding my uncles. x3

it was... so intimidating... crying I felt soo outta place...
sorry...
I got a picture of myself and my friend... I don't have my camera right now.. I gave it to my BF's mom to take pictures at another event.

Lolita clothes are INCREDIBLY expensive. That's why I only have one formal outfit. xD
Unfortunately, a lot of lolitas out there are pretty snobby when it comes to how others wear clothes and which brands, if any, they wear. At Fanime, a lolita would pass another and you could see them sizing up the "competition", looking for any other flaws. xDD I caught myself doing the same thing. It was so unnerving being there, and I was so afraid that some better, more experienced lolita would see me and think horrible things... xDDD So I can just imagine a whole crowd of lolitas all freaking out and staring at each other.

like loli san, I only have one lolita item. and its not even branded!!!! on the bright side, I have LOTS of loliable accessories~
