This is soooo wrong and the entire band is mad now!!!!!
We just got our yearbooks 2day right? well anyways one of the first things i do is look for pictures of the band in it right? and well i looked...and looked...and looked...and looked some more...and guess wat...the band is NOT in the yearbook at all!!!! it doesnt even mention the band in the yearbook!!! The band helped the skol raise sooooooooo much money and it doesnt even mention us!!!!!! D=<

That's so evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We get a page but it's still one page!!!!!!!! YOu should too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's so cruel though!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we got a page.... but we also get milk thrown at us by the football players -.-;;
But maybe thats because we have more trophies than they do.....
But really, thats wring. You guys should raise hell at your shcool for that!

That is wrong, our band is lucky enough to get several pages. We get one for each section, the winterguard even get a section this year.

well thats like total bull thats just evil next year they should cut the chess freaks page and put you guys, or do a special yearbook just for BAND!!

we normally always get at least one page...and this year ppl who paid extra got their own pages dedicated 2 themselves (and as a surprise my mom got me a page =)) but they messed up on my NAME!!! they spelled my name WRONG!!!!! and the even put the water polo and golf clubs in the yearbook but no band wat-so-ever!!! D=< GRRRR!!!

well >_> i don't know how it is with your school, but at my school students are allowed to submit pictures for the yearbook even if they aren't in the class/club thingy that puts it together. and if we want to get the band in the yearbook, we take pictures ourselves(because most people on the yearbook probably don't wanna waste time going to a band performance) and then submit them. >_> maybe you should try that...instead of you know..expecting people to love band performances enough to go to them..i mean face it...not many people like the kind of music we play at band performances. the biggest audience you'll most likely have in highschool will be during pep band. and they didn't even come to hear you play.

ii_angelic_demon well actually a lot of the ppl that make the yearbook are in band or are best friends with some1 who is in band and every year up until this year they have always put the band in the yearbook, and this year the people who made the yearbook were like at every band performance and they went to all the marching competitions and everything with us and they were taking a lot of pictures and stuff but they just didnt use any of them well, there's not anything you can do about it then. if your school is full of people that would go to all that trouble to get so many pictures that could possibly be put in the yearbook and then fail to use any of them, i'd hate to see the results that come from their careers later in life.

We have this computer thing that runs and has pictures of different things that come up. The LAST month of school that put up pictures with the band and when they did me nor my friend were in ANY of the pictures and than our whole class which only consists of 12 people were all in it about thirty times. But beginning band gets one page which has the picture of all the beginning band and the names of everyone. Symphoci and conert get one page two.

The chorus isn't mentioned in mine, and there are 150/900 kids in it.
150 in chorus, and 900 in the school.

That sucks so hard. Tell your Director to complain saying if the band doesn't get a page and the recognition it deserves, you won't play at events and stuff. You will just do your own thing. That worked with my band.
