::Setting:: A shady forest with densely packed trees, the leaves filter out and block the sunlight, leaving everything under their eaves in a state of perpetual twilight. Dark green moss and dried pine needles litter the ground, dampening any sound or footsteps.
_______________
Razil stepped into the forest, letting his eyes adjust to the dim light. He lookad about at the packed trees, eager to begin.

Yuki stepped into the forest, hardly waiting for her eyes to adjust before she turned to Razil and began the lesson.
"Alright, Shunpo is rather simple when you understand the concept behind it. It's not that your running that fast, but a series of long leaps close to the ground. You blow focus riatsu into your feet and let it go in a series of short explosions"
She focused an extreme amount of riatsu into her feet to demonstrate. Almost ten times the amount she normally would so he would be able to see it. And she shunpoed as slowly as she could, letting go of even shorter bursts of riatsu than normal so she didn't fly as far or half as fast.

He watched her intently, noting how she gathered her reiatsu around her legs and then released it in quick bursts. Even with his eyes used to tracking fast movement, and then having that enhanced by his Zaigou senses, Razil could still just barely spot her movements. When Yuki stopped moving, he focused his reiatsu into his legs and feet as she had, then, striding quickly, let it go. He figured out he had let out too much when he stood up, seeing stars and a nice face-shaped dent in the tree that was suddenly right in front of him. Razil staggered to his feet, regained his composure, and looked at Yuki sheepishly. "Let me attempt that again." he said, again forcing reiatsu through his leg muscles.

After a few more tries, and some more hard landings, including but not limited to a branch between the legs, an unseen root tripping him while he shunpoed, and large and very obtrusive bird flying into him, Razil was slowly starting to the hang of things. He would travel where he wanted, able to go around trees and objects after an hour or so of running about. It's a simple manner of getting used to how fast things move around you. he thought, trying to orient his mind in the right fashion for the job. I should visualize the world as moving, and me as standing still. Then I can work with something I am used to... The sun began to dip, the training wore on.

As the sun fell from the heavens, casting shadows across the world and sending everything into darkness, Razil finally got the hang of the technique. He had been trying again and again, and had accumulated a healthy load of bruises and lacerations for his efforts, but he was finally able to maneuver through the dense forest without running into things. He was surprised at how easy it was now, and he zipped about the area, like som sort of cocaine addicted chip-munk. Stopping in front of Yuki-Taicho, then Shunping in a circle around her a few times, he stopped and saluted. "Ma'am, I think I have sufficiently mastered the technique. What shall we do next?"

Yuki gave a devilish smile as Razil came thundering towards her, having finally mastered his shunpo technique.
"now.... we race....."
She said, gathering riatsu properly into her feet and preparing for a decent race.

"Indeed." Razil replied, smiling just as impishly. He gathered his reiatsu around his feet again, letting just a hint of Zaigou get through and tainting it a violet hue. I will do my best, even if I don't see how I could win...
