If you want to hop into the Kryas-Kami story, you'll want to fill out a character sheet. Though you do not need one to participate in related roleplays, the character sheet will allow you to play the affiliated video game (which will be more or less shoddily done, depending on how fast I work xd ; ,) and to roll skill checks to gain information and advantages your character would not otherwise be able to obtain.

The events of the plot will take place outside of Gaia in a hostile and frightening scenario. It may be inappropriate to send small children. However, if you stubbornly wish to send them, you don't have to create a character sheet for them as it is unlikely they are going to be negotiating, trading, or fighting.

For adult characters, though, do not feel shy about giving high Stat and Skill scores. Many of the Porcelain in the shop are indeed legendary (particularly the Dragon Knights.) Furthermore, you will not be competing against each other but against NPCs, and I want you to be able to succeed at most challenges... provided you figured out an intelligent way to approach them.
ninja

Non-Porcelain characters may join in. However, they may not have motivation to do so. (Or maybe they will...?)

Also, do not obsess! I repeat, do not obsess!!! We are not playing D&D! Sheets are just for the fun of the video-game-style challenge scenarios and so that dice rolls can replace some tedious and pointless-to-RP NPC interaction. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GET IT PERFECT.

Structure of the Character Sheet

I.
Template

Yes, this character sheet is huge. No, you do not have to fill out the whole thing! Templates are here; choose one that describes your Porcelain's basic skillset. You can then manually set only the Stats, Skills, and Abilities that deviate from "average for a Knight," "average for a scholar," etc.

Imperial Knight: a Lucid noble trained in warfare, affiliated with the Knights rather than the Army.
Soldier: any Porcelain given the basic training to be a peon in the Imperial army
Imperial Bureaucrat: a Dreaming or Lucid trained as a bureaucrat and in the rites of governance.
Imperial Mage: a high Dreaming or Lucid trained primarily in magical practice, some scholarship
Sorcerer: a high Dreaming or Lucid trained in magic but outside Imperial culture
Scholar: a high Dreaming or Lucid with wide scholarly knowledge
Beautiful-Artist: a Dreaming or Lucid with broad artistic training
Skilled Commoner: a Dreaming or Lucid with a thorough Naming Ceremony education, but not employed in one of the prestigious fields above.

If your Porcelain is in training in one of the fields above, you can specify a percentage lower than 100% to indicate how close your Porcelain is to adult-level competence.

Gaian Porcelain who have had no real education at all or small children who are rolling character sheets despite my warning above should consider starting with no Template and just setting each skill manually.

II.
Stats

Stats are given as integers between 0 (useless; a Roomba's INT) and 10 (the highest achievable by mortals; Kouyo's LUC). They should be already adjusted for species (no Porcelain will have 10 STR, for example.)

Str[ength]: Ability to lift heavy things and strike forcefully. Porcelain are weaker than humans; males have, on average, 4, and females, 3.
Con[stitution]: Health, fitness, and stamina, which does not always correlate with strength.
Int[elligence]: The type of intelligence we're concerned with here is ability to reason, deduce, comprehend complex ideas, visualizations, and relationships, etc.
Sen[sitivity]: Alertness to detail and complexity of emotion. Porcelain tend to have higher sensitivity than the average human.
Luc[idity]: Only relevant for Porcelain. This stat reflects ability to form walls and shields, untrained magical potential, linguistic and metaphorical ability, etc.
Wil[lpower]: Ability to endure pain and fear and to resist the persuasion of others.

III.
Skills

More than Stats, these define what your character is like. Though there are certainly more skills in the world, these are the ones that may come into play during this and future Porcelain metaplot events.

0 represents no training at all. For example, Divination is not normally taught in schools, so a Knight would probably have 0 Divination.
5 represents minimal training, such as being exposed to the subject in a childhood school and studying it without really paying attention.
10 is minimal training, representing at least a little understanding and competence.
20 is thorough training, representing competence but not outstanding ability.
30 represents good, reliable, advanced training; a generic adult scholar addressed as "Master" would have at least 30 in Literature, History, and Science.
40 represents exceptional ability and ease resulting from long-term specialization; a generic Knight would have 40 in Swords.
50 is truly exceptional, representing mastery in the skill. These masters are well-known in their region and their service is in much demand.
60 marks those who are the best in the land, an individual whose prowess is remembered by history.
70 and above marks uncanny, super-human (super-Porcelain?) skill, those who will become legends.

IV.
Abilities

... Are drawn from a list of choices that isn't ready yet. *fail*

... However! You can list special abilities your Porcelain has, particularly those that have to do with battlefield tactics, writing and debating, and interacting with people and persuading them. Setsushi will then choose your Porcelain's starting abilities for you (also depending on your listed Skills.)

Here are three examples:

Intimidate
By highlighting your army's strengths, playing up your enemy's weaknesses, and making a charismatic display, you can demoralize the enemy.

Point-By-Point
Your supreme argumentative prowess allows you to crush your opponents' arguments between your thighs in any order you choose.

Rumor Mill
When socializing with a city's residents, there is a chance you will pick up some obscure (though not wholly secret) information.

V.
Alignment

We at Porcelain are much too hoity-toity for Good/Evil or Law/Chaos. Instead, our events roll using a different two-variable alignment system:

In-Group Size

Who does your character care about, going out of her way, even risking her own health and happiness to benefit?

Self
One who cares only about Self doesn't care what happens to other people with the exceptions of mates and children (sometimes parents or siblings.) These people are Evil or Neutral (their lack of care doesn't necessarily mean they go around hurting other people.)

Culture
One who cares only about Culture has a tribal attitude, supporting the local community and people who share her ways but not strangers from outside this group. These people could be considered Evil, Neutral, or Good.

Species
One who cares about her Species tries to help everyone of her kind, and often includes similar species in this group (for Porcelain this is often "Fired Folk," which may or may not include humans.) These people are typically Good, but might be considered Neutral.

Sentience
One who cares about Sentience disregards species and instead tries to help everyone who has a certain level of self-awareness, intelligence, capacity for pain, etc., even when they have extremely different anatomies and ways of life. These people are, with some exceptions, Good.

Traditionality

... is given as a percentage, anywhere from 0% to 100%. Most people, though, are not so extreme, and lie somewhere between the two ends of the scale.

At 0%, she loves to disrupt tradition in any way she can. Even when it benefits her not to do so.
At 25%, she generally mistrusts tradition-based arguments, but accepts some aspects of her native customs, religion, etc.
At 50%, she generally agrees with following native customs, making exceptions for some things she considers wrong.
At 75%, she is confident that tradition is sound, but supports revising customs when they are proven corrupt or ultimately in disagreement with the core of the traditional morals.
At 100%, she blindly follows her native customs and beliefs and rejects anything that goes against them without consideration.

VI.
Reputation/Alliance

Here you should list large organizations, groups, regions, etc., with whom your Porcelain has a particularly good or bad reputation. These do not reflect your Porcelain's attitude towards them, but rather the group's attitude towards her.

Possibilities include:
the Porcelain Empire (generally)
Souken Faction
Hiwa Faction
Imperial Bureaucracy
Imperial Army
Imperial Knights
Imperial Scholars
Imperial Temple
Kokoku Faction
Bukoku Faction
Houkoku/Ryuukoku Faction

Setsushi will do these for you if you're not sure (or if you claim something crazy.)

VII.
Erotic Orientation

Ooh-la-la!

But why, you ask, is this on the character sheet when normally this is expressed through roleplay? Well, NPCs may occasionally roll against you -- not to seduce, but perhaps alter the way you perceive them.
ninja

Though in real life there are all sorts of varied and interesting erotic orientations, for the purposes of dice rolls you only have three choices:

Towards men
Towards women
Towards anyone
(could be called "both," but might also include individuals of no or multiple sexes)

Towards no one
(either genuinely attracted to no one or simply unresponsive to traditional erotic cues, perhaps due to a mate-bond or intensive mental training.)

The Form!

OF COURSE THERE'S A FORM, THERE'S ALWAYS A FORM.

PM it to Imperial Princess Rika. You may also choose to, say, post it publicly, but some of you may wish to keep it secret if there are hidden abilities of your Porcelain that haven't come out in RP yet or if you don't want to confess her alignment.
