This is one of my newest poems, we've been talking a lot about Darfur in class and i thought I'd write a poem about it...
"Darfur"
It's like it's starting all over again the way they treat those men and women children too dying under the sky no longer blue but stained with the blood of the innocent men and women children too
spilled by the soldiers who now forgot what once happened the holocaust killing the same raiding the shops parading the streets in a destructive way destroying all who try and stand in their way
they will not last to see tomorrow without the help of you and I to stand up against those who take pleasure in seeing them die
And then i have some Haikus...
"Untitled" Listen, listen now the wind will whisper to you and the forest speak
"Untitled" winds caressing my face, their genital touch will not ever leave my mind
"Untitled" staring forever up past everything, into true oblivion

I don't have any critiques really but your poetry is very lovely. The Dardur one is very powerful and has a lot of emotion in it. I also like the style you wrote it in. Your Haiku are lovely as well and aren't just some random phrases thrown together to make them and I like the imagery in them as well. Very lovely job and thanks for sharing them ^^ heart

Very nice. Intriguing. Most long poems can't keep my attention but yours did.
I'm a little concerned about the "genital touch" in the second haiku though lol
