I am going to start reading this one today. Anyone else read it and have anything to say about it?

Actually, I think the Dune's Universe is one of the richer ever created, it's one of my favourite "cycle" (?). Lot of books in it, but I can never get enough !
I read all the books twice, and I have the same pleasure each time biggrin

Amazing book. The latter ones in the series are hard to get through, but the first book was... incredible. I've read it at least three times, now.

I really loved the first book. All the others I felt stupid like there was some sort of greater metaphor I was missing out on

I felt that I simply lost interest past God Emperor of Dune. Considering it takes place centuries later and you lose all the original characters except two.
The original is almost unparalleled in its magnificence.
