Hello there everyone, my name is Roze The Kid and I will be your instructor today. A lot of people ask me, "Hey Roze. What exactly is roleplaying?" Well my friend haha that's a good question. Roleplaying is the act of portraying a fictional or non-fictional character in a particular story. It's almost like creating a story book with other people =]
There are many different ways to roleplay. Some people use some some sort of mark to display action *such as this* and others choose to write out the action in detail. Some people write in first person and others write in third person.I prefer Semi-lit roleplays because they provide detail, a good story, and they progress relatively quickly. Haha I know what you're thinking newbies. "Hey Roze, how do I become a Semi-lit roleplayer?" Well it's easy little Johnny. Just provide detail and be sure to use proper grammar =D"Johnny killed the dragon." is this okay Mr. Roze? No no, little Johnny what are you? a goober? To be a semi-lit roleplayer it should be something like; "Johnny drew out his sword and began slashing at the dragon. The dragon spewed out a wall of fire, but Johnny rolled underneath the dragon and stabbed the creature in the butt. Killing the dragon instantly." That my friend would be a semi-lit post."Wow Mr. Roze you sure are smart...and sexy" hehe why thank you little Johnny. Would you like to know the rules of roleplaying? "Sure!" haha alright alright calm down you little p***k. The rules to roleplaying are basically to follow all gaia terms of service. Generally other rules include no godmodding or powerplaying and no killing other roleplayers' characters. Other rules can be added depending on what the thread creator wants."I learned a lot Roze.
