She gave a nod as she was able to get him free of everything so she could draw him into her embrace. She snugged him closely before her attention turned slowly to the one that was standing at the door. A soft smile appeared on her lips then, "Good afternoon, my little Vampy." She murmured to him.

It would seem the woman was unfazed, no matter what happened or who was there be it the Boss of the Labs or the Wraith of the Dreamworld they were all the same in her eyes.

Pepper shrank against the woman uttering a hissing sound in his throat. He ...was a bit unsure of Vampy...Luthor seemed to be scared of him though he hadn't had much experience with him.

Vampy's eyes narrowed as she addressed him he didn't take a step closer though, "Mother...Earth....why are you here?"

"Visiting my children." She told him, her hands petting gently over Pepper's back and she glanced down at him before looking up at Vampy, "I was merely passing by when I found this one, he seemed to be caught in a bad dream. Poor little thing, I couldn't just leave him like that."

He nodded his head stiffly and finally took a step inside, he looked..ruffled.

"Yes...I appreciate you helping him." He said civilly. "But you should not be here..." He continued sounding firm in his tone.

Pepper looked from Vampy to Shekinah before growling a bit. He didn't like the way Vampy was speaking to her

"I could say that about many of those who are here Vampy but its not my place." She told him, then gave Pepper a little smile as he growled at the silver haired man, "Its alright little one, not all of my children are as well behaved as others."

Pepper turned his head up to look at her in a confused way. Vampy had called her Mother Earth..and yet she had said her name was Shekinah. Did she just say Vampy was her son? He looked at her slack jawed in astonishment.

"No..it isn't your place...and I will request you leave.." He started he sounded firm and annoyed if not irked.

"You know ...even though I know who you are...and I respect
what you are. There are some who may not have the same thoughts." He warned,

"I will leave soon enough, there are a few I want to look in on before I head out." She told him, rising to her feet at his word, "Some who may not? Is that a threat on your part Vampy?" She wondered if he were saying that if she didn't leave he would tell those people she were about...

He shook his head slowly deliberately. "I do not wish to draw attention to my work." He gestured to the small one who had slid off the bed to cling to her leg.

Pepper glared at Vampy his dislike for the man growing with every word he spoke, "And though I do not doubt your power..I am still surprised you were able to find this place ..."

Sheikinah lowered a hand to stroke her hand over his hair, "I can understand. I somehow doubt you would like his father showing up here anytime soon." She murmured, "I know you two children don't get along. As for your work... its how I found my way here. If you were really wanting to keep it secret you would let it walk the streets as it does."

Vampy gave the woman a sharp look.

"He is not his father.." He corrected her harshly before he managed to regain his mask of calm before he gave a heavy sigh, "As to them walking freely you cannot condemn me for wanting them to live vaguely normal lives..."

"It is better then keeping them captive as you do their parents." She agreed, she hadn't felt anything of Pepper here in this place. She had no idea how this little one was born when she knew Vampy and Pepper hated one another... she wondered why he'd created an image of his enemy and gave it the same name as him as well. It was all very strange to her.

"You know that I am not a threat to you or your work Vampy, I would never hurt one of my children... but I worry for you and them none the less."

The man shifted on the spot he had been annoyed with the woman showing up..it did not bode well...he felt the powers shifting and he didn't wish to attract more attention.

"You will keep the death gods out of this if you could." He requested... seemingly unsure of how to get the woman to leave.

"Y...you daughter Faun is here. If you wish to see her...I am sure she would like to see a familiar face." He stated alerting the woman that a nutral was here as well.

"They are my oldest and most loyal children but they also have a difficult jobs that they must go about." She told Vampy, "I can't exactly tell them not to go about their work. I am sorry for this but... no matter who I am I can't interfere with the natural course of things."

Her eyes went a bit wide, "Faun is here?" She asked, sounding a bit surprised at the information, what was her daughter doing so far from her forest? That didn't bode well.

He nodded his head grudgingly, "Yes. She is. I can take you to her...she is with Enki at the moment." He commented though Pepper continued to cling to the woman. This wouldn't work well..she had already did enough damage by filling the child's head thinking he had family.

"With Enki? Is this Enki a 'he'?" She asked, wondering if he were a friend of Faun or perhaps a mate. Oh! Were they going to have babies? She looked almost delighted at the idea. Her hand was stroking in a soothing manner over Peppers hair unconsciously.

He nodded his head as if troubled and deep in thought.

"Yes. She remains with him as it was his request." He continued wondering what she would think of her precious nutral daughter being stuck with a pure demon.

"I will go alert Almas...he will look after the child.." He said as he half turned to leave the room.

"I will have to look in the two of them soon then." She murmured, giving a little smile as she looked at Vampy with wide eyes, "Almas is here. I will need to look in on my dear, Fallen son while I am visiting." This was said mostly to herself, "I will bring Pepper to Almas then, so that I can say 'hello'."

He looked about to protest but finally nodded his head.
"Fine...I will build a web of illusion around you and the boy. I don't wish the humans to see you." He said not wanting the untrustworthy humans, so weak willed you couldn't count on them for anything.

"If you are sure you wish to use your powers on us in such a manner then I will accept." She didn't want to interfere after all. It might not be to her liking but it wasn't her place to bother with those that were here.

Vampy nodded his head and took out his pen and began drawing a web of runes int he air. Once down he literally took it with his hands the glowing letters and threw it over the pair like a soft net it then fizzled and disappeared. he nodded his head as if content with its strength and then turned abruptly and left the room. He tried to pinpoint Almas's aura and headed in that direction

The pace was brisk, he had his arms firmly behind his back as if he was forcing him to appear calm, "I would appreciate it if you stay out of that ones life. He wasn't to know of Pepper..." He stated his tone full of a dripping malice.

"It seems strange to me, that you would bring forth another version of someone you dislike so much." She murmured, looking up at Vampy for a long moment, watching him closely. It made no sense to her why someone would do something like that, not that she minded. A tiny version of Pepper was interesting to look upon, "To name him the same thing as well... though I guess it makes sense, you named your son after you after all."

She lifted a hand to her mouth, hiding a giggle, "Strange to see a miny you and a miny him playing together, hugging on each other."

The man ...literally whirled around, the fire in his eyes was enough to show he was furious, "One. I do not consider that brat any child of mine. Two. I did not name either of them...I don't know how Almas found out Pepper's name but he was called that without me knowing until it was too late." He snapped he then took a step back and a deep breath his mask of calm spreading across his face once more.

"As to why he is here...he was ...an experiment...but he is tainted.. he isn't pure like the first one was.." He mumbled the thoughts a bit to himself before he looked to the woman a hard glare in his eyes.

"I would also ask you never mention my name again out loud." He hissed, "Why are you really here Mother Earth? Though you say you found this place following one of the other children here, I find it hard that you would just simply walk in just to see what is going on."

"You haven't seen him for a long time have you? The one you were trying to emulate... he is far from Pure anymore." She murmured, her eyes went a little wide and she gave a gasp, "Oh! That's it then, it was Tagas." She was obviously talking to herself as it finally clicked her her mind. It was where that blond came from!

She looked over at Vampy for a long moment before giving a gentle smile, "My apologies, I forgot that your name is something that is sacred to your kind." She murmured, reaching a hand out to brush a lock of Vampy's hair back to tuck it behind his ear.

"I told you already why I came, I followed a little one here who was carrying a child and... learned of many of my other children being in this place. As a mother I wanted to look in on them, on you."

His eyes narrowed and he physically flinched and took a step backwards when she touched him.

"...Regardless...I tried to form a pure version...it failed...and..wait...Tagas? " He said with a narrowed look. It took him a moment to figure out where that name came from, "..wa..it...what does that angel have anything to do with how he turned out?" He demanded looking interested although furious at the same time.

He then gave her a strange look. "The girl Adhara is being held at the facility...she shouldn't be out.." He murmured thinking on how the girl was too...close to her due date to be out and a bout wandering.

"It would seem that you don't know as much as you would like to." She murmured, looking for a moment sad and shook her head, "Pepper was in sent into a rage due to a game Melanthios played with him, he killed Tagas when he was in his blind rage and swallowed his very essence." She lowered her gaze, saddened at the thought of one of her children killing and eating another.

"Who is Adhara?" Sheik asked in a confused tone of voice.

He groaned, and then rubbed his temples as if he just got a major migraine. ******** wonder Pepper jr wasn't the same, "I see..." he replied trying once more to gather his calm. And no he didn't deal well with what he didn't know. he would have to have a word with Melanthios...

"She is a young girl who is expecting a child here...surely she introduced herself to you if you followed her in here."

"Ohhh, that's nice to hear. More babies... but I didn't follow Adhara here, in fact the one I followed here wasn't even female." She explained before looking Vampy up and down, "You poor thing, perhaps you should get a nap? You look as though you could use one."

It..took a moment for it to sink in, "Wait...are you saying it...was a man?" He asked his face literally paled. Who had been altered and no one told him about it??

She nodded, "It was a nice young man named Adriel." She explained, "He was a sweet boy, seemed so scared about everything but I am sure after he spoke with a doctor things got better. A child is something to be celebrated after all." Sheikinah's eyes went wide as Vampy went pale, "Vampy? Are you alright?"

He looked as if he was scanning the folders in his brain...dredging up Adriel's profile and what he was.

"...Th..at...s not possible. You must be mistaken.." He said after a moment as if denial would actually help him with coping. Mother earth couldn't be wrong on something she was so in tune with, "someone would of told me if he had been scheduled for an alteration like that.."

Sheikinah tilted her head to the side as Vampy went over the information that he'd gotten but didn't seem to want to accept what she'd told him. He gave a little smile, "Maybe you should sit down." She wondered if something were going on that Vampy didn't know about, "Your sure your workers are trustworthy? I... mean you shouldn't get mad at them I am just curious."

Vampy gritted his teeth and the aura he had reigned in seemed to flicker out likes pales flames across his body. The idea that someone was being stupid enough to betray him...raised his hackles to the point he looked like he was about to explode. Either untrustworthy..or very stupid... He calmed himself slightly.

"I..willl look into that matter later..." He said between gritted teeth. "Come.."

She gave a nod, feeling a little guilty for giving him such bad news and putting him in such a bad mood. She gave a little smile and a nod, "Yes... lets continue our walk." She hoped to get down to where her daughter was before more bad news came to Vampy and put the poor man into an even worse mood.

Vampy continued down the way without saying another word..apparently he was too absorbed in his own thoughts and when they got to Enki's quarters he pushed the door open without even knocking.

He stood there, and then turned around and slammed the door closed behind him. He looked like he just saw something he really didn't want to see. What the ******** was wrong with thi day? Were the fates laughing at him?

"L..let them fini.." he stopped himself..what the hell was he saying? Turning around he slammed the door open again, "ENKI!"" He snapped.

The Pride demon glanced over at Vampy for a moment, grinning in an amused sort of way, tail lashing behind him, "Mr Vampy." He all but purred then lowered his head to nuzzle against Faun and whispered to her, "We are so grand the boss wants to watch."

Sheikinah peeked into the room, confused for only a moment before she set to giggling.

Faun's face was flushed bright with embarrassment the man who shouted Enki's name scared her, but it was the woman she spotted behind him that had her scurrying to her four feet.

"Mother!"She yelped like a teenager may being caught in the act.

Vampy looked furious. "Enki what do you think you were doing??"

Enki gave a bit of a pout as Faun pushed up to her feet though he wrapped an arm around his tail around her, drawing her over for a snuggle then nuzzled against her hair again, "Doing... what were we..." He starred at Vampy with wide eyes before grinning, "Well if you don't know maybe your to young for me to tell."

Sheikinah lifted a hand to smother her laughter before looking at Vampy, "You... did leave them alone together Vampy. Surely you would realize that they would... enjoy each other's company."

Vampy shot her a look and icy glare back to Enki.

"but she is a nutral. I would think that she would have a bit more to say in the matter than just let him do that." He snapped in retort. The faun's ears fell down as she was dragged back towards Enki she protested slightly with a mild whimper.
"m..mother...h..help."

Sheikinah shook her head then stepped into the room, "Now, now Enki. You be nice to my little girl." She said, resting her hands on her hips and gave him her best 'Mom Look'.

Enki's hold on Faun tightened for a moment and he gave the pretty, silver creature a nibble before he let her go though he really wanted nothing more then to keep her in his arms.

Scrambling onto her feet she rushed the woman wrapping her arms around her. Apparently though Enki had taken a shine to her she still was scared of him, "Oh mother why are you here? please tell me they didn't capture you too!" she pleaded in her soft voice.

Vampy rolled his eyes and glared at Enki as if he was suddenly going to rip the pride demon's head off.

Sheikinah wrapped her arms around the trembling Faun and shook her head, "Oh no, no don't worry about me daughter." She murmured, as she hugged her tightly. She was glad to see that for the most part she was in good shape, "Are you alright? He didn't hurt you?" She didn't want to think badly of Enki but he was a demon and one that seemed quite strong from just looking at him.

The girls strange eyes looked like the were shining with tears, as she pressed her face into Sheikinah's hair, "m..other..he..did...tha...t...with..me.." She whispered in a small voice. "...i...am..a.a..bad faun?"

"Ohh... my poor little baby." She murmured, hugging her more tightly, "Of course your not a bad faun... everyone falls prey to such things now and again." She gave the girl's hair a nuzzling.

Enki was nearly pouting, meany Faun... she didn't seem to hate it when they were playing. Of course having ones captor and mother walk in on it would kind of ruin the mood. He flopped down onto his side, tail lashing. It sure ruined the fun and atmosphere having Vampy about that was for sure.

Vampy glared at Enki a moment longer before he turned on his heels. He looked like he was going to leave and then thought better of it.

Faun felt herself calm down as Sheikinah hugged her, "Thank you mother...brother is going to be so angry.." She whispered sounding even more afraid of her brother than she had of Enki,

"Let me worry about your brother." She said in an assuring manner, petting the girl's hair before drawing back enough to look her over. She then gave her a soft smile glad to see that the girl was alright. If a little nervous over the idea of facing her brother and having a lover that was far from what one would consider bring home given what faun was and what her family was.

Trembling she nodded her head and then kissed her mother on the cheek in a loving way.

"..C...can't you..t..take me home...?" She whispered sounding fearful, she kept her voice low..she didn't want the scary silver haired man or Enki to hear her plea.

"Poor little faun." She murmured, pressing a kiss to her kiss to her cheek before looking at Vampy, "Would it be alright if I take my daughter with me when I leave?" She asked of him, he wanted her to leave and Faun wanted to leave so maybe they could make a deal?

Vampy looked a tad irritated by this request but he had...well no further use for her anyway. He wondered if Enki would throw a fit, "I have no more use for her.. she if your daughter after all.." He said through forced teeth.

Enki was in fact already on his feet, giving a little growl, "Hey... you said she would stay me with." He snarled at Vampy, eyes narrowed, tail lashing, his claws dragging against the ground.

Sheikinah looked over to Vampy and shook her head, not finding that to be a very nice thing to tell someone, "Come on Faun. We will get you home to your forest." She murmured.

Vampy looked over to Enki his eyes narrowed, "Are you going to do something about it Enki? I have no power here...Faun belongs with Mother Earth. If you think you can stop her go right ahead." He snapped.

Faun flinched as Enki seemed very angry about her leaving she went to hide a bit behind Sheikinah as if she was scared.

Enki growled and took a step toward Sheikinah as though he were going to do just that, he would stop her from taking what was his! Though after that step he found it harder to approach and after a second step he found himself oddly... dazed and felt his anger flowing away. It was odd... a warm feeling wrapped around him, a gentle feeling, and he found himself sinking down to laying on the floor in a purring heap.

Sheikinah gave a little smile, reaching over to pet him on the head, "Come on Faun, lets get going."

Faun gave a bit of a smile and nodded her head. "Yes mother."

Vampy rolled his eyes at Enki such a weak thing...he at least could stop himself from becoming like that...but still..he had to use all his strength to not let his emotions get the better of him.

"Please...Mother earth...warn me before you come again...or don't come...that would be better." He snapped.

Sheikinah looked over at Vampy for a long moment before giving him a smile, "You should see about a nap Vampy, you seem very stressed." She said to him in a gentle manner before she took Faun's hand in hers and started to head out with her. While she wanted to stay longer she couldn't leave Faun here. Another visit would have to wait.

Vampy felt his body relaxing despite himself and when she finally left he shook himself to rid himself of the feeling. He gave another glare to Enki before storming out of the demon's quarters and then back to his office . He had a doctor he needed to talk to.
