Door left slightly ajar, a bunny ear perked at the soft pad of paws down the hall - "Maaaxwell~" he called, hitting a button to slide the it open the rest of the way, "prom is almost over...you said you'd pick out an outfit for me, remember?"

He turned after his ears swiveled towards Juli's voice, and nodded. "Yeah, I did! Just stay there, I'll get it over and we'll get you changed." With that, he took a detour to his room.

"Great! Thanks~" He stepped back to his workstation - just a few more lines...there - saving and clearing his desktop. He hadn't really expected Maxwell to deliver...but ever since they'd had that talk, the jaguar did seem to be a lot more dependable. And...well, just generally nicer. He didn't know if this new behaviour was going to stick, but he was certainly enjoying it while it lasted.

He soon emerged, holding a bag with purpose. "Hey," he said as he slunk to the rabbit's area, lightly pressing the button to close the door. There was a secure thud - and he was sure that it was soundproof...

"Ooh," he swiveled to face him, a flickering smile betraying his childish excitement. "what'd you get - oh!" He stopped short, blinking to take in the spectacle of Maxwell in a suit. "You look...you look really good." Did it sound as awkward out loud as it did in his head? He bit his lip and flushed a little. "Dressing up suits you," he added, waving a paw to hide his embarrassment, "you should do it more often."

"Why thank you," he laughed, flexing in the stiff jacket. "Since you were going to, I thought I might as well. As for you...here, you can find out for yourself." He handed the bag over with a bright smile, fangs gleaming against his tanned skin.

"Thanks!" he laughed, awkwardness forgotten as he took it from Maxwell's paw...the eagerness with which he parted the bag dissipated as soon as the paper yielded to reveal a flash of bright pink...

His ears were all too well-honed to the shrillness of bunny wailing - he barely flinched. "Isn't it aaaadorable? Time to put it on! You're gonna look great in it!"

"THIS!" he hissed, brandishing the offending object in one paw, "THIS!" - the matching head-dress in the other - "No way in HELL am I getting into THIS!!!"

"The HELL you are," he snarled as he pounced, pulling the garment out of the angry bunny's grasp. "I paid 3k for this thing!" He started to wrestle off Juli's vest with a steely determination. The pink fabric flailed above.
