Things were quiet around the house, which was odd within itself. Yuhin was away to Nyrvana to visit a new friend he had made. The twins were over visiting Kyoi, and Luc was spending time in his room, studying magic.. or whatever the crankily silent child did. So that left just Shouhin and himself... oh and Tanja, Akiya's last child. Tanja was a rather good baby. He didn't scream or flail or complain. The only word he knew was candy (which sounded like canduh) and he loved to attempt to crawl. Couldn't quite get that down yet, but it was cute anyway. "So.. where are we going?"

"Back to shop. Gotta get more paper for Sah... he ran out ya know." Currently, the baby was tied to his carrier on the tall angelic's back, sucking on a pacifer and looking at the new world around him. It was a lot different than home... less trees and dirt, mroe cement and tall house like buildings. Scaaawy. So he hid in his baby carrier. "Then maybe something to eat afterwards."

Jiro, meanwhile, got the sneaky suspicion he was trying to get him to meet more Tales. He wasn't so huge on that. But, of well. He did as he was told. And besides, Kyoi had mentioned that there were new ones roaming about. Maybe he could hazard a meeting or two... or something >>

"C'mon Sizzla! Let's go!" Rhea shouted to her mother, eager to go back to the Stationary Store. She'd had a blast at the Halloween festival, and was looking forward to meeting more kids her age. Though she was young, she was far more intelligent than Elysia's youngest child, Ari's. Even though they were almost the same age, the two couldn't really connect. Though Rhea did like to watch Ari painting, that was about all that the two shared, interest-wise. Rhea would generally talk his ear off, and ask him all kinds of questions, to which he would reply with a "Umph" and a shrug of his shoulders. He was barely talking, while she could ramble on for hours.

"Mooommmmmmmm!" she said again, holding the front door open.

"Okay, okay, I'm coming!" Elysia was feeling Rhea's impatience as she grabbed a jacket off of the coat rack and threw it on. "Let's go then! It's that time, right?" Taking Rhea's hand, she turned and locked the front door behind them. Ari was staying with Caroline, so there was no need for a babysitter today. It was just she and Rhea, out having an enjoyable time.

They headed toward the Stationary Shop, the crisp autumn wind cutting through their jackets. The sooner they could get there, the better, Elysia thought. But of course, Rhea had questions about just about everything she saw on the way there. Answering them as best as she could, Elysia walked faster, hoping it would dissuade Rhea's interest.

Finally, after what had seemed like ages, they walked up the front path of the shop, and Elysia pushed the door open, letting Rhea get in first before she could feel the warmth of the shop herself.

By the time they arrived, the door was just closing and Jiro hurried to catch it before it could shut all the way. Seems someone made it there before them, not that it was that big of a deal. They hadn't been trying to rush or anything of the sort. There was no point, for they had taken this walk countless times already. Lately though, something odd has been happening with Jiro. He's a restless boy, that was typical of him. But lately, he's been pacing, edgy... asking for more things Akiya has not heard him ask for in awhile. Like books and new weapons. The weapons part frightened him, especially since he felt he didn't need anymore after he found his enchanted gloves. Those blades were already huge and frightening. Why did he seriously need anymore?

But as a father, and a fellow lover of the sharp and pointy, could he truly deny him something he truly seemed to want? He had already spoken with Iruka of Zyukori about fashioning him a katana.. or something close to one. He was getting to that age and.. well... he had been really off center lately with his swing of moodiness, but he was getting the hang of it. Maybe if he had a real one to look at, he would work harder to get better. Getting him more books was not going to be a problem, because he knew that Dyrid and Keeper had things they wished to give to the boy. Mental note: send Jiro over to their homes before he forgot. "Jiro..?" The boy had already disappeared inside the store and closed the door while Akiya sat there fretting. oh.. simply brilliant, Akiya. His looks soured more when he heard the muffled sounds of baby snickers. "Oh hush you." but it was said fondly as he entered the store finally.

Jiro, meanwhile, had found himself in front of two females. One an adult.. or.. something... the other was another of his kind. The scent he picked up from her spoke it quite clearly to him. Why did most of the Tales he had seen have such dark locks? Was this a trend? But he bowed before them both anyway. "Good afternoon..."

Walking into the shop for the first time since her arrival, Rhea took it all in, not quite remembering it. She was feeling overwhelmed at that point, and had barely noticed anything, save for her new guardian. She had decided that the woman was likeable upon first meeting, and the two already shared a close bond.

Rhea was elated to have use of Elysia's library, and she respected the woman for her choice in books. Most of the things she'd read already were quite good, though of course, there were a few things she wasn't so fond of. Elysia also treated Rhea like the daughter she'd never had, and Rhea loved being the center of Elysia's world.

The two had gotten quite close, and at times, Elysia could almost sense Rhea talking to her...but not verbally. Elysia could hear Rhea's whispers in the back of her mind, and that had proven to her that this little girl, that had emerged from a book of all things, was not quite normal. Though she'd yet to find out more about this very interesting ability that Rhea seemed to have, Elysia was sure that she was something very special. What other three or four-year-old could read Edgar Allan Poe and actually enjoy it?

Turning around to hear a voice behind her, she spun around, ready to greet whoever might be there. Her eyes grew wide in amazement as she saw Jiro, and she practically bombarded him with questions...but not before she introduced herself.

"Hi! I'm Rhea. You're so polite. Good afternoon to you sir!" She bowed back, trying to adapt to his style of greeting. "What's your name? What are those things in your hair?? The pointy things I mean...And are those feathers growing by your ears!? And wait, your other ear is different. Ohmygosh, wooooowwww!" If she were an anime character, Rhea would definitely have stars in her eyes at this point.

Elysia let Rhea blabber on a bit and waited for her to stop before introducing herself as well. "Hello. I'm Elysia Marvel, and well, you've met Rhea...It's nice to meet you." She gave a little curtsy, and looked around the shop. "Did you come here by yourself?"

Well, this was not what he thought would happen at a greeting. Feeling rather freaked out about it, he took a step back before he collected himself and coughed. "I am called Jiro.. Jiro Kahsha... Those things in my hair are my chopsticks. And yes, they're feathers. I have one angelic wing and one demonic.. so I've been told anyway." They both flicked and shifted a bit at her very.. jubliant self. This was weird to someone who wasn't quite so.. vocal. Looking up at her guardian, he bowed before he deeply as well. "Pleasure. No, I came with my father..." Just then, the bell sounded to allow the.. overly tall man in.

It sucked to be almost eight feet sometimes, the angel muttered as he ducked down a bit to allow himself to enter. How he got this tall was something he still didn't understand, but it passed down to his children... well Kali so far. "Oh, I see you've met some new people. I am Akiya Ryhan, this imp's guardian. I hope he's been polite to you."

The look he got from the Tale said he was rather insulted. "This is Rhea and her Guardian, Elysia.. they just got here before us." With his back turned a bit to Rhea, she could see the thick bun at the back of his neck, being held up by the said chopsticks. It looked like a rather heavy coil of hair but he seemed fine with it.

"Welcome to the store." They had to be new because he had never seen them before at any other meeting between Tales and Guardian. "So what brings you down here today?"

Rhea was a bit taken aback at the feelings she was getting from Jiro. He didn't seem too happy about her questions, so she decided that after she'd gotten her answers, she'd lay off for awhile. One can only take so much, and she herself knew that.

"I get excited sometimes," she explained, a bright flush coming over her face. Her red eyes twinkled though, as if she were trying to hold it all in. Elysia couldn't help but think that she needed an activity to blow off steam.

"Nice to meet you Jiro. I like your chopsticks. You have beautiful hair," she said abruptly. You must have started growing it long ago. How long is--Nevermind." She stopped herself short, deciding not to ask the question. Instead, she sent him a telepath. "I'm sorry. No more of the third degree. I promise." And then she smiled at him, hoping it'd be okay.

"Well, I'd love to meet..." Elysia started to say to Jiro. But her voice fell as she saw the giant man walk into the room. "Whoa. You're so...tall." Elysia was speechless. She'd never met anyone so imposing in all of her life, and she'd come across a lot of people. "Oh, Jiro's been very polite," she said, extending a hand to Akiya. "I'm Elysia Marvel, and this is Rhea," she told him, pulling Rhea a bit closer to her. "Well, Rhea's new (she winked at him, knowingly) around these parts, and I thought it would be nice if she could meet some other children. She really seems to enjoy being social."

It wasn't that he was afraid of her, just not used to such rapidfire questions. But she seemed all right. Least she didn't have anything to hit him in the head with. His eyes looked her over to make sure.. just in case. "It's all right. I like my chopsticks as well. They double as weapons so they're not just a useless decoration." Nodding to her question, he smirked before he calmly reached up and took them out, allowing his hair to uncurl and pool around him. His hair had recently gotten longer and it was longer and a normal person his age should have it. "This is how long it is." Though his brows shifted at the telepathic messege, he only grinned. "Very cool." And he meant about her gift. "I don't know many who are that strong mentally." With Akiya's help, he worked on braiding his hair so he could put it back into its bun.

A warm chuckle left him at Elysia's reaction to him and he was still smiling as he took her hand. "It's okay. Most people are a bit.. uh.. iffy about me. I won't hurt you, I promise heh." After shaking her hand warmly, he knelt down to look at Rhea, taking her hand and shaking it as well. "Pleasure to meet you."

"Pweas!! Pweas!!" A small head appeared over Akiya's shoulder, bright pink eyes shining happily as he waved. "Hi hi!!"

"This is my little boy, Tanja. I'm sure you two will get to meet all the other Tales and get along well with them.. I hope hehe."

"They're weapons? Do you stab people with them?" Rhea asked, curious about the concept of weapons. She'd not yet been exposed to weapons, as Elysia was a pacifist, and preferred to keep only hard blunt objects around the house to use for such purposes. The 4-cell Mag Lite would definitely do the trick if there were intruders in the house, so she never learned how to wield a bladed weapon.

"I want to learn about weapons..." she said, hoping that maybe Jiro could show her. None of the other Tales she'd met mentioned anything about weapons. But the thought of fighting stirred something deep inside her...It was strange urge. An image of a sword suddenly flashed into Rhea's mind, and she took it as an omen.

The sword was large, and looked unwieldy. It's blade guard was encrusted in semi-precious stones: a few chunks of amethyst, some moonstone, and a very large piece of labradorite that emitted a strange glow. The handle was wrapped in black leather, and the sword was sharpened to a glistening point. The mental image burned deep into Rhea's brain, and she almost forgot where she was. Snapping back to reality, she saw that Jiro had taken his hair down, and it fell long and silky down his back.

"It's beautiful," she remarked, almost wanting to pet his hair. She decided against it though, thinking it might be a bit too forward upon their first meeing. "Let it keep growing..." She watched as he braided his hair back up, working to recoil it into it's bun form.

Once the plaiting was finished, Rhea took Akiya's hand and shook it back with a ferocity. She wanted to give off a presence too! "Nice to meet you Mister Akiya!"

"Oh, you don't seem too scary," Elysia said to Akiya, returning the warm handshake with a slight squeeze. She giggled slightly, and looked back up at him, her face blushing just a bit. "It's nice to meet you. I don't see you as a guy who would hurt someone. You have a very nice aura about you in fact." She paused, thinking about what to say next. She wasn't always the best at thinking of things to discuss. "What brings the two of you here today?"

Though Jiro didn't mean to give her a look like she was stupid, it wasn't a question he was asked often, but he nodded. "Yup. That's exactly what they're for. Though they're my favorite, I'm more into swords.. things like that. I go to a place that makes weapons all the time. It's fun to just watch them make it." A grin curved his lips at that before he looked thoughtful. "You wish to learn about weapons more? It's not hard. He has tons of books about them.. and he lets me train in them.. as much as I can anyway." He practiced everyday for as long as he could before he had to take his pets hunting.

The comment about his hair made him smirk. "This was a lot shorter when I first appeared. Now, it takes me about an hour just to wash this.. and combing it is a nightmare... but you're not the only one to say to keep growing it... I almost cut it once.. but I was stopped just in time, thankfully." The last thing he had wanted to do was disappoint the one who request he never dye or cut his hair again. He patted some stray strands down a bit. "But thank you... your hair is nice too. It definately suits you."

A chuckle left him at how energetic Rhea was and let her shake it as much as she wanted to. "Just Akiya. Mister makes me sound old." Jiro muttered something like but you are old.. older than dirt and Akiya sighed. "Anyway... I'm glad you don't think I'm scary! I can't tell you how hurtful it is when people see me and run away... Why are we here? Oh.. we're picking up some stationary.. and I thought it time Jiro came out and roamed again. He's been staying a home a bit too long."
PostPosted: Fri Nov 11, 2005 9:40 am

"Alright, Akiya it is!" Rhea nodded to the very tall man, pumping his fist up and down a couple more times.

Then, turning to Jiro, she listened intently about weapons and his hair.

"An hour?! Wow, that's a long time to just wash it. You must take long baths..." She giggled a bit, picturing Jiro in the bath, up to his chin in steaming hot water, with his hair pooling on the surface around him. "Good thing you didn't cut it! Who stopped you from cutting it?" she asked, genuinely curious about who would demand he not cut his hair. Rhea didn't like demanding people...Especially if they were demanding that she do something.

"Thanks," she replied to his compliment about her hair. "I like it too. It's a nice dark brown. I don't think I'll ever cut my hair short...or mess with the color. That's for sure."

She was a bit...irritated at the look she got from Jiro when she asked about his pointy sticks. It wasn't her fault that she didn't know about weapons. Her guardian was far too peaceful to have any around the house, and Rhea had surprisingly never studied them herself.

"I do want to learn more about weapons...I think training with them could come in handy sometime..." Really, she expressed more interest because of the vision that she'd just had. Why was it that she'd never thought about swords or fighting before, and now, she'd had this vision of a beautiful sword. Somehow, she thought, she was supposed to learn about swords and swordfighting. She just knew it. "Do you think we could go to the place that makes them sometime? Maybe...well..." Her voice dropped, and she sounded a bit shy. "No one else I've met has mentioned these weapons to me...Maybe you could teach me?"

"Yes, well, a lot of people aren't very tolerant, surprisingly. It seems strange that in a place like this (of course, she meant Gaia), people are still afraid of things that are different. You seem like a kind soul. People shouldn't be afraid of you at least." She unbuttoned her jacket, the warmth of the shop finally seeping in to her skin. "Aah, much better. It's getting colder outside. I do love the season change though...at least until it starts snowing, and I feel like holing up in my house for three months!" She laughed, knowing that it was very true. She was good at hibernating in the winter.

At the first mention of weapons, Elysia practically gasped. She wasn't really prepared to have her newest charge train to use deadly weapons. Even her other daughters with powers didn't start using them until they were older than Rhea. "What's all this talk about weapons you two?"

"Sometimes I use a shower instead.. helps me get the shop out faster and all that." A little nod was given as he had that same image, because that's how it used to be for him. Til it got to the point where his hair couldn't contain both him and his hair so he had no choice but to change to a shower. When asked about the who, he smiled gently. "My best friend, Khia... well and my parents and brothers. They don't want me to change my look.. and I don't truly either, just sometimes... I get pushed into moods where I do things like that." Nobody made demands of him, not even his parents. Actually, his family was rather laid back as a whole.. which was apparently rare, from what he learned about parents from the other Tales. "Khia's one of us... but he's a teen already. You really can't miss him. Really tall, black fur and two sets of horns and stuff. He's a shapeshifter." Which as far as he was concerned, explained all.

He wasn't used to meeting someone who had no idea what weapons were at all. Of course, he would know nothing of Rhea's homelife, but she seemed the type who would like weapons anyway. Were there no books in this girls house?! Poor thing. "Yes it will. And Shouhin *He pointed at Akiya to explain what Shouhin meant, which is basically dad* says it's best to start early but with nothing sharp and dangerous til you at least learn basic handling skills and a good mental set up.. or something." His shoulder shifted into another little shrug before he looked thoughtful... about both questions. Take her to Zyukori? Well... if Armel could go, why couldn't she? She had an interest in weapons.. and him teach her? He had never taught anyone. "Um... well to take you to Zyukori Marketplace might not be that big of a deal... but I've never trained anyone... though it might be interesting..."

When Elysia gasped and looked down at him, he gave her a rather calm look. "We're speaking about weaponry and training... always good to begin as soona s possible."

"I don't live here, thankfully. My home is somewhere else.. rather far away but yeah. Gaia doesn't have the space I need for myself or my family to live comfortably to be honest." At her faith, he was touched an bowed before her again with a smile. "Yes, it is definately growing more chilly out. I should buy Jiro a thicker jacket while we're here.. we might find something good here..." A smile of amusement showed at the mention of snow. "I love snow.. but the snowfights with my family can be.. rather violent at times, but no less fun!"

All this talk of weapons didn't seem to bother him. His only deal with Jiro and his weapons was that he had too many and was getting a bit too good at them.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 14, 2005 2:10 pm

"I can imagine that the washing goes much faster in the shower," Rhea commented, nodding. "I like showers...It makes me think of rain."

She listened as Jiro described Khia, and was quite taken with the whole idea of shapeshifting. "Wow, really?!" she asked, amazed. "What kinds of things can he turn into? I'd really like to meet Khia some day. He's your best friend?" She paused, trying to picture Khia in her mind. Then, she gave him some thoughtful advice. "You shouldn't do things for other people, only for yourself...Well, as long as it pertains to you, and only you. Though I suppose if you did follow your instincts, your hair could well be gone now..."

And then, there was the question of all questions: "And wait, what does 'one of us' mean? I know that Sizzla brings me to this store sometimes to meet other kids, but are we all related?"

Of course, Elysia hadn't told Rhea about how she was born, and she wasn't quite sure how to explain it to her yet. Not that it would hurt if Jiro told her instead...One day she'd have to find out, no matter how painful it might be. Plus, would she care if she was created from a tome? She was alive, and that was all that should matter, right?

"Shouhin?" she asked, looking over to Akiya. She gave the tall man a quick bow, and turned her attentions back to Jiro, who was now explaining this whole weapons-thing to her. "Training with things that aren't sharp and pointy seems like a good idea. You wouldn't want to hurt yourself..." she smiled at Akiya, who seemed to have good advice on a number of things. "I'd love to go with you Zy-uk-ori Marketplace sometime. It'd be good to learn about different types of weapons, right? And I'll have Sizzla get me some books at the library. I'm afraid she doesn't have anything on the subject." She gave Jiro the adorable puppy dog eyes, trying to convince him to train her. "Pleeeeasssseee train me...I mean, only if you want to, and think you can. I wouldn't want you to involve yourself in something you don't want to do. Sizzla might even know someone who could train me..."

Elysia looked down at the little girl, who was practically begging for someone to teach her about weapons. She signed, and resigned to the idea. "Well, if you really want to train, you can. I give you permission. But you have to promise that you'll never hurt someone just because you can. You must have good motives behind every strike, do you hear me?"

"Of course! I don't want to hurt someone unless they hurt things or people that are important to me." She looked up at her new guardian indignantly, as if Elysia should have known this all along. "I'll do my best!" She smiled at Jiro, proud of this semi-accomplishment. She wasn't sure that Elysia would go along with it, but lucky for her, she had.

"Well, if you've made your promise, fine...I approve." She gave Rhea a smile, a sign that it really was okay. Turning back to Akiya, she continued their conversation. "Where are you from, if you don't live here? I can't imagine how you'd get around!" And then, thinking of winter, and snowball fights, Elysia couldn't help but laugh. "I've had my fair share of snowball fights, and yes, I can vouch that they do tend to get violent...Those things hurt if you pack them hard enough! It's like launching a ball of ice at that point!" She thought back to her childhood days, remembering the welt on her face after being pelted with a snowball just like she'd described.

"Sometimes I stand out in the rain.. it's just as refreshing, really." When he finished explaining Khia as best as he could without her seeing him, he wasn't ready for her enthuiastic responce. Well.. it was to be expected, he guessed. "He can turn into a lot of things.. he can even turn into other people.... it's amusing. Usually he's a big round ball that rolls around everywhere... but he only does that if he's upset about something. And yes, he's the first Tale to come up to me and be polite to me." Even though he and Angelus were now brother types, it was really Khia who made that effort int he beginning, as far as he was concerned. "I already know that advice. Everything I do, I do mainly for myself. You think Shouhin wanted me to train since the second I was able to move around freely? HIghly doubt it." He sounded a bit insulted at her advice. Though he took it for what it was, his other half took it as an insult to him. Lifting a hand, he pushed back his long sleeve and showed her the large amounts of scars that ran down it. "This comes from me doing what I wish to do. No one really tells me what to do... except Yuhin... who is my mother... But sometimes, it's good to do things for other people. It doesn't hurt to give back when they have given you so much. To just take is greedy... makes one shallow."

"You mean you don't know?" His brow creased a bit before he decided to go ahead and explain things to her. "We all come from the Tome, which is this really huge book with unlimited magical ability... least that's what I think of it. We are all called Tales... and out guardians are considered Authors or some such nonsense. The kids who are like us all look different. Like Lance, who is a dragon boy or Slyvester, whose a giraffe. We all look different and are different.. but our origins are the same." Lowering his sleeve, he pointed over to the Study, the door tightly shut. "That's the Study where the Tome resides. The door never opens until it's time for another of us to show... that's how it works, I suppose..."

He gave a nod as she looked over at Akiya. "Shouhin means father. He's my family. He looked out fo rme and makes sure I'm doing all the things I should be doing... like your guardian does." Nodding as she agreed to going to Zyukori Marketplace, he made a mental note to get two guest passes. One for her and the other for Armel. "Yes, it's good to learn about all sorts of weapons and what may be good to learn. Even in swords, there's such a vast range.." The puppy dog look was most definately a new one on him and his brow jacked up higher. Why were her eyes so big and huge like that?! It was kinda freaky, ya know... "I suppose I could try...." Anything to get that look to go away because it was rather unsettling...

"Don't worry, I'll look out for both of them. Though Jiro has his own dojo, I or my other sons look in on him often to make sure he's safe. We'll definately do the same for Rhea. Even though wooden weapons aren't metal, they can still hurt if not careful with them." To try to answer, he only lifted his locket and allowed a small portal to open up in the space. "We live in a pocket dimension.. we travel using portals, though Jiro hasn't mastered that spell yet so mainly I use it.. or my mate. Portals are the fastest way of getting around for us." A smile crossed his lips at the talk of snowballs and he nodded. "So true! So true! I got knocked out by a really good one last winter, by my own mate. He thought it was rather funny... til I didn't get up for awhile heh. But it's still all fun I suppose."

((I'm sorryyyyy!!! I'm so slow...but the responses are getting long, and I've been having a hard time finding a time to write an appropriate reply. I'm so bad...I've started a reply on several occasions, but I just can't seem to do it! crying ))

Rhea listened intently as Jiro described Khia in more detail. She was especially fascinated with this shapeshifting abilites, and she wished it was something she could do as well. But try as she might, Rhea would never be able to shapeshift...though there are abilities yet to be uncovered...
"Well, he sounds fascinating. I hope one day I can meet this Khia. You seem to respect him a great deal, so I shall as well."

Glancing down at his scar-torn arm, Rhea gasped a little bit, trying not to look too shocked. The scars did disturb her, though she knew that was probably from weapons training. If she decided to take up weapons, the same would probably happen to her...But the urge to fight was too great. Something deep down inside of Rhea was telling her that fighting was necessary. "Don't be angry at me for my advice." She could hear the insult in his voice, and it miffed her. She had respect for Jiro, and he was interpreting her words wrong. She didn't want this boy on her bad side. He would make an excellent trainer and dueling partner. "I know that doing for others is important too. I was just saying that you should make decisions about yourself for yourself, not for others." Her voice was strong. She wouldn't let him get to her.

It was then that Rhea would get the first major shock of her life. Her eyes grew wide as Jiro told the story of the children born from the Tome, and her jaw eventually sagged open. She turned to look at Elysia, and only one question came from her mouth. "Is this true?"

Elysia had been talking to Akiya before Rhea had asked the question of all questions. "I'm sure you'll take good care of her," she said to him, nodding. "I trust your judgement. It seems like you've brought Jiro up well. He's a good kid." Though she'd only known the two of them mere minutes, she enjoyed their company. "Aah, so do you come to Gaia often then? How do you travel back and forth?"

It was then that Elysia heard the question, from a small voice below her. She knelt down next to Rhea and smiled, trying to keep things light. "Yes, what he has told you is true Rhea. But it's okay...You're here now, aren't you? What does it matter now? Things are okay, right? You still have a lot of life to live, so there's no use dwelling on your origins." She gave the little girl a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "It'll be fine dear."

Rhea's eyes grew watery, as if she wanted to cry. But instead, she sniffed, and wiped a sleeve across her eyes. "You're right. There is no use dwelling on it. I am here, and I will be here a long time." She smiled up at her new mother, glad that she could accept her origins. Turning back to Jiro, she had to suck it up. "Well, I'd love to see this Zyukori Marketplace...and if you're willling to train me, I'm ready to take instruction," she said indignantly. She was ready. She wanted to show Jiro what she was made of.

((The replies don't need to be long XD Actually, I was kinda worrying about that because usually, I don't write out such long replies hehe.. but it's fine X3 Short are just as good. Better than nothing, right?))

A little shrug was given as he smirked. "He's my best friend, like I said. Don't respect him just based on my words. Meet him for yourself and make your own decision about him. i'm sure Khia would like it better that way and that way, you can come up with your conclusions about him. Just because I like him and respect him doesn't always mean you might, ya know?" To him, he had slowly built up his trust of Khia and gained his friendship. If nothing else, he was his first true friend, someone who could tell anything to. Though he liked the other friends he had made, none of them were at that level yet.. nor did he know if it would ever get that far.

Seeing how shocked she looked about his arm, his thoughts worked as it always did. If she was shocked over something as simple as scars and she felt disturbed, his scent had definately changed, how would she be able to handle training? Would she faint at the sight of blood should she ever come across it, especially her own? If she had such a weak stomach, then she wouldn't do far. Least that's how his mind figured it. "And how do you know I don't make my own decisions about things for myself? It's not bad to also take the advice of those who are older than you and have lived longer. Sometimes, they just know better than you do." This topic was quickly annoying him and it was making him annoyed with her. Someone who just came from the Tome and didn't even know about her origins was trying to tell him what to do?! Hell no, he didn't think so! But he slowly worked that irritation out of his system. He wouldn't talk about this anymore because he didn't need the headache. Nor would he let her piss him off so much. His angelic and demonic ears shifted a few times before they settled and he felt better. There was really no point. Though, he still was wondering why she was getting so upset about being born from the Tome. It wasn't that big of a deal. The fact they were alive was better than not... Magic is magic, life is life. Be thankful for getting the chance to live at all.

A little smile of pride came as she said he was a good kid and pat his son on top of his head. "He can be a tempermental little thing.. we're still learning everything we can about him.. like he's learning everything about us. But I had help in raising his so it's probably why he came out decently heh." When Rhea asked about her origins, he tilted his head. Was this a big deal? He had told Jiro as soon as he understood, because he knew the boy was wondering why he didn't look like his brothers. Even Luc looked nothing like Kyou, Mouu , kali and Tanja. So he had been told, that even though they had been given to the family by special means, it didn't make them either any less family.
