Same park she'd seen Adriel in only a few days before, and yet Adhara didn't hesitate to return to the place with her little girl. For some reason, part of her felt a need to see Adriel again, to set the record straight so that he knew that he'd been a father... well, before he'd been a mother, she supposed the terminology would be; or, something of the like. Briefly, she wondered who's baby Adriel's was, as well as whether or not the little one had been born yet.
For the moment, though, she was quite enjoying watching her little girl flail her strange wings as she jumped up the stairs on the playground and then flapping her tentacles with them when she went down the slide. Well, aside from the left one; that one usually attempted to cling to the metal bars along the side of the slides pitifully, wishing that it wasn't stuck onto the body of the risk-taking little girl, wrapping tightly around her waist when she plopped into the woodchips at the bottom of the slide, giggling excitedly.
Adhara chuckled softly and smiled, recounting on the things that had happened to her so far, looking ahead to the things that may very well happen to her daughter as well. Best friends, siblings, sweethearts... Geez, and it wasn't any of that sappy parent stuff about how they 'grow up so fast'. In reality, these children grew up so fast that you could blink your eyes and they knew how to do something else already. She laughed a bit as her daughter dove head-first down the slide, happiness reflecting in her amber eyes. She'd been unsure at first, sure. But now that she'd had the little girl, she felt wizened by the experience... it was so...
...surreal.

Duncan was out and about though only for a short amount of time with his infant son, Iah. It was a little out and about time for Daddy and baby to give Adriel some time to nap without having to worry about the baby waking him up from that rest. He hadn't been to the park since he was young, it was where he'd met up with Adriel the first time if he remembered right. He gave a bit of a grin as he recalled teasing the Lust spawn until he cried... he did his best not to giggle as he walked along.
Iah was in one of his arms, wrapped around it. He was looking quite sleepy for the moment though his red colored tentacles were beating against his arm in an unamused manner. It would seem they didn't like the fact that they were leaving home without their 'mother'... Iah hadn't like it all that much either having whimpered a bit, eyes looking saddened as they left home with Adriel resting there. The little spawn loved his parents, both of them, but being taken far from one of him had him a bit down.
The wrath spawn looked down at his son before leaning over to press a kiss to the top of his head, "Its alright, Iah. We are only going on a small walk." He assured him, giving a smile. He didn't want the little one to look so worried, as though they weren't planning on going home... then again this was his first time on an adventure like this he realized as he sat down in one of the swings, shifting Iah so that he was sitting, faced forward in his lap. It wasn't until the two of the were swinging forward and back that he seemed to realize that they weren't alone in the part.
His trio of eyes starred at the woman, his yellow eye narrowing in a dangerous manner while the other two widened slightly. He knew who it was... the look of her, the scent of her... a part of him had never wanted to see her again because he saw himself as a danger to her. He could feel his hackles rising just at the sight of her... of Adhara.
Iah lifted his gaze to stare at his father and as though sensing the change in his mood the tentacles paused in their pummeling of Duncan, wrapping around Iah instead.

Adhara seemed rather, well... clueless as to the person who's third eye was glaring daggers at her at the moment. Her perception into that sort of thing was minimal. Instead, she'd pulled out a book of crossword puzzles that she'd gotten from her father for a present to congratulate her on growing or on having Adelle, she wasn't completely sure; neither of them really made sense, but oh well. It was a good waste of time when she had nothing else to do but look up at her little girl occasionally; not that she caused any trouble more than occasionally molesting a child with hugs.
Adelle, however, seemed to notice the other almost immediately, especially the cute little one sitting in his lap. With bright eyes that were identical to Adriel's, she jumped from the end of the slide, flapping her wings despite the fact that it didn't do anything and fell hard on her knees. However, she didn't seem to mind that fact -the skin didn't break- so she jumped back up immediately and ran over to the red-skinned male and the little mottled-skin boy, squealing excitedly when she reached the two of them and bouncing, as she almost always did.
"Hewwo dewe!!" she squeaked, wriggling in place and not seeming to notice the fact that the older male looked very... disapproving as far as the girl's mother was concerned. Her wings flapped happily as well as her right tentacle, while the left one attempted to hide from view, not really liking his host's obsession with flinging herself at anyone she saw.
"My name's Adewwe. Who'we you twooo?" she asked with interest, though her mind was obviously elsewhere, compliments bubbling all over her mind while the smile on her face seemed to extend larger than her mouth. "Gawsh, you've boff got weawwy pwetty skin. And I weawwy wike his tentacoos," she said, giggling excitedly and flapping some more, likely convincing people that if she went any faster, she may very well be able to take flight regardless of wing-to-body ratio. She wriggled her left tentacle happily. "Mine's awe weawwy diffuwent dan his awe!!"

Duncan had the swing moving forward and back in a relaxed manner, not wanting to make Iah sick by moving far to fast for the little one. Iah seemed to be getting a bit dozy, the rocking motion always one that caused him to slip off into sleep... though he was back awake the moment a new voice reached his ears. His trio of eyes opened up to stare at the new comer and his tentacles were instantly on edge, ready to attack if someone got to close to the one they considered to belong to them.
The wrath spawn starred down at the little girl, giving her a strange look. Why did the kid want to come over to him? Surely he didn't scream 'friendly' ... then again he was sure that aside from the tentacles Iah did. Cute babies always drew attention to themselves...
"Hello." Duncan finally said to the little girl, Adewe? What sort of name was that he wonder before he looked down at his son, "This is Iah and my name is Duncan." No harm in introducing the two of them to someone that size, she presented absolutely no threat to him or his son after all. He found himself studying her closely as she said that she was far different then Iah was. He wasn't sure why but... looking her over caused his senses to prickle, as though he were observing something important but he wasn't exactly sure why.
"His tentacles get their coloring from me." Duncan explained to her. As for the boy's skin it was a very bright mix of both his own skin and that of Adriel.
Iah starred at the excited girl in front of him and found himself growing more and more curious as the time passed. She was all sorts of excited, wasn't she? And mobile... he was moving a bit slowly in his own development thus far, just learning the art of sitting up on his own as parents carried him about everywhere. Duncan was the worst about it, wanting to keep his kid close by at all times to make sure he remained safe from then many dangers of the world which left Iah a bit sheltered.

Adelle gasped as soon as the little one had his eyes open, bouncing on her toes excitedly. "Omigawsh, omigawsh, omigawsh!! Youw eyes awe so pwetty!!" she squealed, scrawny little wings flapping excitedly. She glanced up at Duncan, as though she'd barely noticed his, and then her smile brightened even further, if that was possible at all. "And youw's, too!! Dey'we aww diff'went cowouws and you gots free of dem!!" she exclaimed, pointing with a small, slim finger.
"Is nice to meetcho Iah and Duncan," she replied with a bright smile. "I can teww. It's a weawwy pwetty cowouwr," she said, wriggling a bit as she stood, before dropping to her knees in the sand, left tentacle immediately attempting to bury itself. She bounced on her knees despite the fact that she was sitting down, almost as though she'd regained her energy simply by doing that instead of standing. She was constantly in motion, wasn't she?
"I got my tentacoos fwom my mama. Weww... dem, and I fink my wings a widdoo bit, too, but dey don't weawwy look like mama's, dey'we moow... fluffy and dey kind howt when I accidentawwy hit mysewf wif 'em 'cause dey'we fwappin' too hawd," Adelle rambled, nodding a few times, not realizing that she was barely letting the much older male have a chance to acknowledge what she was saying, let alone reply to it. "Wesseeeee... I got my mama's eaws and specklies fwom hew, too. But she says dat I got my daddy's eyes and his haiw, but I don't weawwy know 'cause I nevew sawed him befowe."

Duncan felt rather dizzy as he watched the little girl and listened to her. She was very... enthusiastic wasn't he? And rather... loud and excitable. He starred at her as she bounced around, talked in a rapid manner that he did his best to catch all of, and nodded where he thought that it would be appropriate to do so.
Iah was quite amused by the antics, giggling to himself, and clapping his small hands in delight over what she was doing. She was funny! His three eyes, the lower two a deep brother like his 'Mommy' and the upper one purple like one of his Daddy's, were filled with delight. He didn't know who this girl was since she was so new to him but he liked her! While he seemed quite amused his tentacles weren't nearly as amused, flail a bit at the jumpy girl.
"Got his eyes, huh?" Duncan looked down at her eyes for a long moment, eyes meeting her gaze... then he found himself looking down at Iah. The boy looked up at his Daddy when he felt the gaze on him. He blinked his trio of eyes before smiling at his Daddy, reaching his hands up at him. The wrath spawned blinked a couple times before leaning in closer to the girl, "Wait a second..." He murmured to himself, all three of his eyes getting a bit wide.

Adelle seemed completely unawares of her new... 'friends' lightheadedness as a result of her constant talking. For all she'd experienced, he liked her better than almost anyone else in this world, given most of them started crying or just ran off without even saying anything. Duncan, however, with his strange features, stayed to talk to her, which made her happier than most things made... well, most people.
Adelle squeaked at the little boy's clapping and smiled up at him, wriggling in her seat as she moved her legs so that they were spread out, where she started digging in the sand to find more wet sand for the sake of making a sand castle while she spoke to the two boys. She stuck her tongue out at the little one's tentacles.
"I wike da widdwe bony-bits, too," she said with a couple nods of her head. "Dey wook weawwy neat," she added, playing with her own right tentacle, the more friendly and less uncontrollable of the both of them. "Wish dat my tentacoos were wike dat. Dey're just weawwy smaww," she said, giggling a little more.
She looked up at Duncan innocently and nodded a couple times at his question. Her wings flapped when the older male got closer and she backed up just a little bit, tipping her head as she reached her right tentacle out in an attempt to poke at his face, though it definitely fell short of being able to do that. Not that it seemed to mind, simply reaching with more effort, pulling the girl forward again as the other one embedded itself further in the ground, keeping her from getting too close.

"Just be careful with his, they can misbehave at times." He warned the girl, he didn't want to see the talkative girl get attacked by the over protective and jealous tentacles. Just the fact that Iah was giving her so much of his attention seemed to irk the red tinted limbs. The wrath spawn was ready to catch hold of them if such a move were required though.
Iah gave the girl a smile as she seemed to be... trying to get a bit closer though one tentacle didn't seem to want to as much as the other. He reached his little hands out toward the tentacle that was reaching toward him. It was pretty and looked like a little version of Fuu and Chii, "Ahhh! Ah!" He made grabby hands at the little tentacle, wanting to touch it.
Duncan sat back in the swing so as not to make the girl nervous and turned his attention from Adelle to Adhara, starring at her. He felt his hackles rising a little as he watched her. He didn't like it, at all... that woman who had been intimate with his lover also had this child that was a part of Adriel. It made him twitch at the thought but what made him more annoyed was wondering about Adriel and how much he knew about this child... was he keeping it a secret from him?

Adelle gave Duncan a rather blank look and giggled cutely. Well of course they misbehaved; her tentacles misbehaved, too. The left one would flail at people, the right one would occasionally try to look up someone's skirt, despite the fact that Adelle didn't really understand why it would do something like that. Her momma said that it was bad, though, which was rather annoying, even though the little kids' parents tended to yell at her for doing stuff like that afterward.
Adelle pouted when the older male moved back, which made Iah further away. She pouted a bit and struggled up to her feet, toddling forward and stretching her arms to the reaching limbs, her right tentacle stretching out just a liiittle bit further than her arms were able to while the left smacked angrily against the ground, trying desperately to pull Adelle backwards and away from the Wrath spawn and his child, both of whom seemed to give the poor little tentacle really bad vibes for some reason.
Finally, the tentacle was able to tap gently at Iah's palm, though the tentacle was probably completely unaware of what Duncan had meant by 'misbehave'.

Iah gave a sound of delight when he was able to finally touch that miniature version of Chii and Fuu, quite pleased over the fact. It was just a little tap which mean that he didn't get to hug on it like he often did to Fuu. He leaned forward to reached for the tentacle... then gave a squeak of surprise when both his tentacles snapped forward, taking a swing at the one that had dared to touch their host!
Duncan rolled his eyes as he lifted his hands up to catch hold of the tentacles though a bit to slow to stop the first attack he would at least be able to keep them from getting to slap at the girl again. He put on a 'stern' sort of look on his face as he held onto the angry, flailing limbs. He didn't want to seem as though he were encouraging them though he was glad to see that they were going to even stand up against other tentacles when it came to protecting Iah. Good, good... he knew how... friendly other tentacles could be so this was a good sign.
Again, not that he was going to make it seem as though he were on their side though.

Adelle giggled at the contact between her tentacle and the little one's hand, quite happy at how, well, happy Iah seemed with the poking at. However, it was while her eyes were closed that the red tentacles decided they wanted no more of this. The swing from them, with her close proximity, actually managed a pretty good hit into her shoulder, making her gasp and stumble backward, falling over in the surprise that was cause by the hit, as well as the dull ache that followed it.
Big brown eyes stared at the red-skinned adult as well as the young boy with the mottled skin he held in his arms, eyes slowly welling with tears. She sniffled a few times, wings flapping and arms pulling close to her chest while her tentacles wrapped around them. Her mouth opened finally, she took a deep breath... and shrieked.
That definitely caught Adhara's attention. The Lust spawn immediately jumped off her seat, pencil and book both falling to the ground as she half-ran half-flew to her daughter's side, dropping to her knees and picking the girl up to hug her close, not sure what happened and not really concerning herself with what it was for the moment as she merely tried to calm her daughter, or at least make it seem less like she was being beaten with a hose.
"Shh, shh, sweetheart, it's okay, it's okay, you're alright. Right?" She kissed Adelle's forehead nervously as Reena instinctively wrapped around the baby, Niita curling with the left tentacle that only seemed to like that of its identical counterparts. Adelle sniffled, rubbing her tear-filled eyes and nodding in response. When asked what was wrong, she looked over to Duncan and Iah and pointed. "Doesn't wike da cwose..."
Adhara's amber eyes followed her daughter's pointing and she blanched as soon as her eyes fell on Duncan and the boy in his arms. "O-oh..." she stammered, already assuming the other's current opinion of her, given she knew of Adriel and Duncan's closeness and Duncan's... wrathful... blood. "Good to see you again... Duncan..."

Duncan dropped his hold on the tentacles so that he could lift his hands to cover Iah's ears to help to protect his hear from the horrible sound that came from the little girl. He gave a twitch himself finding it to be a grating sound that almost hurt... then the girl was being scooped up and dealt with by a person that Duncan didn't really like the idea of being so close to him as she suddenly was. Instantly the wrath spawn was rising out of the swing to his full height, debating what he should do... what he should say and found it rather impossible to do either.
Iah gave a squeak sound as his father rose to his feet and found himself farther up in the air and away from the girl that was making the loud sounds. He looked at his tentacles and gave a sighing sound, shaking his head at them. For the most part the tentacles seemed... somehow amused and proud of themselves from the way they were waving at the girl that was crying. Tears meant that they won after all...
Duncan felt his hackles rising as Adhara spoke to him, his yellow eye narrowing slightly. Good to see him again... was that some sort of sick joke? He took in a deep breath, forcing his anger down. He couldn't deal with his anger and Iah both and he didn't want his son to see him angry no matter the situation at hand, "Adhara." He said, as pleasantly as was possible for him given the situation.
Iah looked up at his Daddy, his trio of eyes a little wide at the ton and even his tentacles seemed to suddenly calm down, wrapping themselves around Iah as they didn't want to deal with a moody Dad person.

Adelle whimpered as the older male stood and looked fearfully up at him, as though she was honestly afraid that he was going to hurt her, as he didn't seem to angry with the little boy's tentacles, though she was almost sure that he was the little boy's father. Adelle gasped in surprise as Adhara wrapped her up in her arms and stood up herself, somehow managing to keep her heels from sinking into the sand. With the increase in height, she was just under five-foot-ten, and Duncan still towered over her, both in height and... demeanor.
Adelle looked up at Duncan worriedly, then to Iah, whom she stretched out toward in a weak attempt to at least touch his hand, though she was definitely far enough away that she wasn't going to be doing any damage or have any damage dealt to her. But she did want to see the little boy again, she knew that for sure. Just... maybe... while keeping her distance. And without his scary daddy person.
Adhara nodded, letting go a slow breath that she wasn't completely sure why she'd been holding. "I... we should be getting home. Sorry for any trouble Adelle might have caused you," she apologized quickly and semi-quietly, smiling faintly at Duncan and petting Adelle's head softly. "Best wishes to you and... Adriel, I'm assuming. Good luck with the little one," she added before she turned to gather her and Adelle's things for the sake of getting away from the playground as fast as she could without looking completely ridiculous.

Duncan shouldn't be amused... shouldn't be amused... he kept saying that to himself as he shifted Iah in his arms, hugging the boy to his chest and turned on his heel to leave in the opposite direction as Adhara had gone. That was just... funny. He hadn't even had to do anything that was really in anyway scary, no raising his voice, no growling... and she'd run away from him as though he the most frightening thing ever.
Iah watched as the nice girl left with her mother, eyes a bit wide. What was going on...? He was a bit confused over what happened, things had been going so well... and now the nice girl was gone. He watched in the direction that she'd gone before suddenly be and his Daddy were going in a different one.
