Lol. Sorry you feel that way. Gran Turismo 5 is taking back the reins.
Although it's not like they missteped with GT4 whatsoever.
Come on, like you're going to stick with EA?

Actually it'll be the second time. Gran Tourismo was a two disk game for PS1. On one disk was the arcade two player thing, and on the second disk was the simulation mode where you could buy cars.
Anyway, on the simulation disk, if you bought the 1999 Ford Taurus and did the racing modification it would turn into a NASCAR. It had some kind of red and yellow Taurus paint scheme when used in the simulation disk, but when you loaded it onto the arcade disk, it looked like Mark Martin's #6 Valvoline Ford Taurus from 1999.

Yeah, there was that, but it was Mark Martin's Ford Taurus in skin only. I could only ever max it out not even at 400 hp and it had 5 gears. Plus, I believe it was for Gran Turismo 2. These seem to be the real deal.

I hate ea sports nascar games after 2004. gt4 was crap and gt5 prologue was dissappointing to me. I have grown very fond of codemasters games lately not saying it wouldn't be interesting to play nascar in gt5 but i haven't been a fan of the gran tourismo games in years.I feel that they did a very half assed job with gt4 because they keep delaying the release date and the games just lack so many things that are standard in racing games today. GT1, GT2, and GT3 were all good games, i will always like GT2 the best.

I didn't see any Roush cars in there, although that's not to say they won't be in there. They might be in talks though. Currently however, in the NASCAR portion, it seems only two manufacturers are represented. Chevrolet, and Toyota. I hope they add Ford and Dodge as well, but the demo they put on looked sweet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZQAvtt0j0k

I read a thing in my most recent game informer that monster games, the company that made nascar heat, and nascar: dirt to daytona is thinking about coming back and making another nascar game now that ea dropped their contract. I think it's cool more companies can make nascar games again. Competition means better games.
