Name: Santhea
Age: 17 turns
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Craft: N/A
Rank: Candidate
Physical Description: Santhea is just under five feet, short for her turns, and if not for her big-bones, she would be thin. Her rounded face is warm, but sometimes interpreted as arrogant through the hooded eyebrows, snubbed nose, and wide, full lips. Her skin is tanned, and her chin-length feathery hair is a warm-brown. Her teak eyes make her face easy to read, and her thoughts are always obvious on it.
Personality: Friendly, energetic and extroverted, Santhea is very easy to get along with, and a fabulous and loyal friend - but her main fault is that she always speaks her thoughts, with no regard as to whether they may be interpreted as mean or spiteful until after she has said them. Santhea is always ready to charge through with a plan, tries to never show weakness, and thinks second thoughts are for cowards. Sometimes her burst-in attitude seems proud, but not purposefully - Santhea does try to be friendly, but her mouth always runs away with her thoughts. Her best personal quality is her ingenuity and loyalty - she never falters in her ideas, and if something seems impossible, she will constantly think about it until she has found a way through the problem - impossibility frustrates her, and it goes against her very nature to give up on something - she will persuade not only her friends, but rivals and even people she doesn't know to go ahead with whatever she deems right. Her personal flaw is to never think things through - steadfast and airy about any topic, she will face the consequences without regret, though often is chagrined she hadn't though of a better way to handle the problem.
History: Santhea was born to a standard lower caverns family, her mother a general cook, and her father a steady extra pair of hands. Her mother is much less confident than Santhea, and when her daughter was born, Lirishta (the mother) was doubtful of the life the little girl would get - what privileges would she get as a lowly weyrbrat? She would be looked after by the weyr, there was no doubt of that, but what could she achiever here? Would she be raised to only be a simple lower caverns spit turner? But Santhea's father, Misbolin, had no doubt that his daughter would do the best for herself, and as the girl grew up, Misbolin would often take her with him to help out with an injured dragon or help handle trade for the Weyr - by this, as Santhea grew up, she learned more about the opportunities outside the weyr, and though she grew to despise merchants and tradesman, she learned to understand holders and worship dragons, and she was a mischievous girl, always in trouble and managing to wheedle her way out of it too - equally impressing and annoying other weyr folk, who couldn't help but like the charismatic little girl.
Through her teenage turns, she wondered what she should do when the opportunity arose to decide her job - she could apprentice maybe, but this idea got fainter as she grew older, knowing that it would be harder to learn as an adult. She knew enough about cooking to be able to cater for a large hold - if she was lucky, she might aim to be a head-cook at a major hold. It sounded small, but it was a position of power to have her own kitchen, especially in such a hold. She could, of course, stay here and work with her mother - but with that suggestion she had only one way to go up, and that would be as headwoman of the lower caverns, and Santhea was far too affectionate of all the head cooks and the head cavernswoman to rise past and usurp these people.
So Santhea put off her choosing, and though her father kept pressuring her to pick after her 16 and 17 turns, the fact that she worked mostly with her mother in the kitchens meant she was able to put off answering.
A few months after her turning 17, she accompanied her father up to the weyrbowl to a help a broken winged dragon, he told her right before they helped the weyrhealers to mend the wrenched bones that she must decide. After they had helped one dragon, the dragonrider claimed Misbolin's attention, and Santhea used the chance to escape to the other side of the Bowl. She unconsciously wandered to where dragons landed from their weyrs, and a search dragon's rider just happened to land beside her... Santhea considered this the most dramatic and excitable thing that had ever happened to her - conveniently forgetting that she thought this after every one of her mischievous escapades!
Pets: No pets, but is constantly irritated by flits. She loves the steady watchwhers, though hardly has a chance to see them seeing as she never nears the entrance of the Weyr as she sneaks around at night.
Other/Talents: Able to wriggle through all sorts of tight spaces or tight predicaments - her charismatic wheedling has saved her hide many times!
Will this character be a candidate? Yes please.

She's almost set to go, almost! I like her a bit, the one small problem I could find was the thread-laced dragon in her history. If you could just change that a bit, since Thread hasn't begun to fall yet, she'll be all set! :]
Thank you!

Have revised, and updated her name - I realised it sounds like on of the names I read in one of the books, so I decided to change it =3
