History: Adopted as an infant, Jade has no memory or knowledge of her birth family. Instead, she was raised by a well to-do family off in their mansion. They viewed her as their own child until she was six when Elizabeth Plum gave birth to a daughter and blood heir for the family. Katherine became the center of her parents worlds yet they never forgot Jade Instead, they kept her as a playmate to the young Katherine. However, the girl grew not to view Jade as a sister but as a rival. Thus, when Jade became old enough to wed, Katherine went to her father, Richard. That night, all three of the Plums came to Jade with a choice. Either Jade would have to be forced into a marriage with a man of her true status where they would still provide in secret for her, or she would have to start her own journey in the world and cut off all ties to her adopted family.
