Physical Description:
Kazuma stands at 5'6" with short and usually messy black hair. With a rather odd permanent light tan on his skin and his dark red eyes he was always rather odd when it came to fighting in with these traits. His nose is about the average length and size as most people's with no distracting facial features(except his eyes). The only real thing of note that isn't an ordinary feature on his body is the claw marks close to his neck that some how stayed on his body even after entering the Soul Society, these marks were caused from when he was choked to a near death state by a Hollow.
Kazuma's Shinigami attire consists of the normal Shinigami uniform with the sleeves of his kosode forcefully ripped off (instead of simply getting a sleeveless uniform). Around the waist his Tabi has been removed and replaced with a kama - with it's own style of belt/sash. The Kama is in an inverted colour palette of the Shinigami uniform (being white on black instead of black on white) similar to the Arrancar uniform. To Kazuma it holds no significance in it's colouring after all it is only clothing and nothing more.
When making use of a Gigai Kazuma will usually wear a simple plain white vest and black cargo trousers with a pair of brown workmen boots. Occasionally he will wear a black hooded vest (with a zipper) or in colder climates he'll wear a black hooded fleece. In most cases though he prefers his arms not being covered up but the reason for such is just that he dislikes the feeling.

Unlike most Zanpaku-tou Kazuma's is an Nodachi, which is a variant of normal katanas with a much longer blade some times built with a blade two to three times longer than an average katana blade. A sword that would expected to be more curved than the katana it is but only slightly and mostly as it reaches the end of the sword. When the Nensho Tansen is in it's sheath Kazuma is usually seen resting his left arm on it showing that he wields the long blade with his right hand as his main sword arm, despite the length the sword is really light and Kazuma always wields it with only one hand.
Shikai Release: Nensho Tansen Shikai
When Nensho Tansen is released it becomes a huge broadsword that is extremely thin but quite wide. This odd style makes the weapon extremely sharp but light which is unusual for most broadswords in existence. While Nensho Tansen is released it allows Kazuma to fire off waves of extreme heat -or- flames much like the Getsuga Tenshou only weaker. It also allows Kazuma to create pillars of flames that blast from the ground when he pierces the ground with the Nensho Tansen. Other than this his Shikai doesn't do much else except from being able to fire off the waves of flames in a multitude of different styles.

Nensho Tansen's Bankai state is different from the sealed and Shikai release states in many ways, two being that it is no longer a light and easy to handle sword instead it is a gigantic towering broadsword that is extremely heavy and tiring to use. The other difference is that it's blade is no longer thin or hold the same polished look as the other states. The Bankai state allows Kazuma to fire off stronger versions of his waves of flames and summon multiple pillars of flames when piercing the ground. The Sakari Nensho Tansen also has a few additional attacks to further push itself above it's Shikai.

Normal Skills:
One-handed sword fighting, a skill Kazuma learned when he was alive. He was slowly learning how to fight with swords along with his father from a sword teacher or at least the man claimed to be such. During the initial first day of training the old man offered Kazuma and his father different methods in which to be trained this was Kazuma's method. He continued to keep this style even after entering the Seireitei.
Hand-to-Hand - Brawler Style Fighting, Kazuma preferred to fight with just the ordinary punches, kicks, head butts and so on. But the method being rather crude and sloppy he ended up training on dummies is father had bought him to make the fighting style more precise for himself and eventually he became quite a good fighter for just using ordinary attacks.
Kazuma is a quite good sports man as it was his over-all goal in his living days to become an athlete. Being a good runner and climber as well as his good abilities at fighting are what he calls his sports man ship. Although they don't help much in the Seireitei he still uses these as he doesn't have abilities such as Flash Step to help him.
Shikai Skills:
Gozen Kaen Yuriugokasu(Roaring Flame Wave) - This is the main special ability found that comes from Kazuma's Nensho Tansen. Used much like the Getsuga Tenshou except with the difference in power being that Getsuga is stronger but Gozen Kaen Yuriugokasu can set things a flame. The attack is summoned when the blade is swung in any motion or even thrusted forward of course this is not the only thing done to fire the wave this is only the initial process the rest of the process is where the blade absorbs Kazuma's Spiritual Energy and super heats it as he swings the blade. Of course the blade only does so when he speaks the incantation which is the ending part of the name of the attack.
Hibashira(Pillar of Fire) - This is the second and final of the special abilities that Kazuma's Nensho Tansen can utilize in it's Shikai released state. When the blade pierces the ground and absorbs a certain amount of Kazuma's Spiritual Energy it then releases the energy through the ground and fires it out of the ground in massive pillars of pure fire that can cause immense damage to what ever is hit by this attack. The pillar is also summoned from where ever Kazuma chooses meaning it is something of an all directional attack but it always has to stem from the earth.
Bankai Skills:
Inochitori Hisaki (Fatal Flames) - A technique restricted only to the Bankai, it is a very draining skill and becomes taxing on anyone who tries to hold it for a long period of time. The attack is unleashed once Kazuma calls out the incantation, "Set them ablaze Inochitori Hisaki" A large burst of flames will then cover the sword and give the false effect of making some believe that all it is, is a small bonus on an otherwise average sword strike. However the flames slowly eat up Kazuma's Spiritual Energy in order to make it's attacks - which appears when the sword makes contact with any surface. The contacted surface will ignite in flames and nothing will be able to put the flames out unless Kazuma runs out of Spiritual Energy or the technique is released.
Shinsei Nobegane (Nova Sword) - The stronger of the Bankai-only techniques of the Sakari Nensho Tansen. The huge Bankai sword actually under goes a transformation with this ability. The sword transforms to it's original sealed state but the hilt and the blade grow in length by a small portion. After such the the blade becomes super heated until turns into plasma (in essence resembling a lightsaber of sorts) - thanks to the blade becoming a beam of plasma the blade is almost entirely weightless although the blade can be harmful to Kazuma due to it's heat meaning he needs to be focused and very careful with it's handling. While the Sakari Nensho Tansen is in the Shinsei Nobegan state it is able to conjure the abilities of it's former Shikai with an increase of power of course.
Sentan-Gozen Kaen Yuriugokasu (Advanced-Roaring Flame Wave) - While the Sakari Nensho Tansen is in it's Shinsei Nobegan state it is able to summon an enhanced version of Gozen Kaen Yuriugokasu. The Sentan-Gozen Kaen Yuriugokasu is fired in the exact same way as it's weaker alternate and would effect it's opponents much in the same way although the damage is almost doubled. The colour of the attack when initially fired is green much like the plasma coating the blade, as the wave stretches out however it changes colour to a blue outlined by white.
Honpou Hibashira (Rampant Pillar of Fire) - While the Sakari Nensho Tansen is in it's Shinsei Nobegan state it is able to summon an enhanced version of Hibashira. The activation of the Honpou Hibashira is still the same as it was in it's Shikai state but the power is much stronger and generates more than one pillar of flames at a time. Although the areas where the pillars will burst out from are not in his control meaning that even he is not safe from the attack. Unlike the Sentan-Gozen Kaen Yuriugokasu the colour of the ability does not change but the damage has been exponentially raised.
Ensho (Heat Wave) - With the Sakari Nensho Tansen's increased blade and hilt length it can easily be seen as a spear in the form of a sword. Thanks to this Kazuma is able to spin it over head in a rotator-like fashion. Quickly heat will stream off of the blade in waves - after a few seconds the blade will launch a wave of flames going out in a ring around Kazuma harming anyone caught within it's mid-length radius.

Hado(Way of Destruction) :
1. Sho (衝,Thrust) - Pushes the target away from the user.
4. Byakurai (白雷, Pale Lightning) - The user fires a concentrated and powerful bolt of lightning from the finger.
31. Shakkaho (赤火砲, Shot of Red Fire) - Fires a Ball of Energy at the target. Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!"
Bakudo(Way of Binding) :
1. Sai (塞, Restrain) - Locks a target's arms in place behind there back.
Personality:
Kazuma appears eternally bored with everything around him but at the same time he looks as if he is content with it all. He is quite perceptive despite his physical age upon death in the real world. And can often grasp situations and various details about his surroundings quickly, however he usually keeps it to himself and keeps up constant bluffs and feints.
To follow up on his state of perpetual boredom, Kazuma is very easily one of the most lazy people one will see around the Seireitei. Preferring to simply sit back, have a drink and chat about things that have no relevance to common subjects. Of course this is not to deny that Kazuma is physically capable, he can handle himself well in a fight and his bored outlook usually keeps him in a state of calm. Joking around is probably Kazuma's strong suit as it usually flows freely in conversation and even when it fails, Kazuma simply depends on being the lovable idiot - even when that fails too.
Regardless of his outlook and mental disposition, Kazuma is reliable. He may complain or appear to depreciate himself but he follows orders as he should and can be expected to perform as such in a quick and calm manner.
Biography/History:
Kazuma had no one home in his life. He was originally born in Osaka but spent most of his life in different countries such as France, Belgium, America and Yugoslavia. Eventually his family finally moved back to Japan settling down in a town called Karakura town. This town however wasn't a place Kazuma would ever like or get settled into, a few weeks into his life in Karakura town he finally started school and immediately gained a dislike for one Ichigo Kurosaki a few days later the fighting began where Kazuma started a fight with Ichigo and promptly came out as the victor but not without taking a heavy beating during the fighting. This stream of life continued on for a while and some times Yasutora Sado even stepped into the fighting in which Kazuma would always lose. This constant chain of events finally came to an end one day after another fight Ichigo. On his way home Kazuma was over come by some extreme pressure that made it hard for him to even breath let alone stand, after being lifted into the air by some invisible entity that started to slowly become a silhouette, Kazuma then passed out and when he awoke he was dying. The last thing he saw was Ichigo wearing some odd black robes and carrying a huge broadsword. Later he eventually found himself as a spirit in the Soul Society and spent quite some time figuring everything out. Kazuma later found himself wanting to join the Shinigami Academy. After getting in he begun his training where he was trained to fight Hollow's and to use his spiritual energy properly this of course shoed him that he wasn't exactly one for usage of Kido and was more enclined to use only his Zanpaku-to and Hoho. He did however learn some Kido abilities to try making his disadvantage into a strength.
