Physical Description
Yamoto is of normal height at 5 feet and ten inches. He has a very muscular figure due to extensive physical training over the years. He has a black tattoo in the form of vines that go from the fingers tip of his right hand to his right shoulder. This tattoo glows white when ever Yamoto concentrates reiatsu in to his right hand or arm. Yamoto has white hair that reaches down to his mid back region. The hair is complemented by Yamoto’s eyes which are a sky blue. Yamoto has several scars on his body including a large diagonal cut on his chest, another diagonal cut on his left thigh, and a large cross cut (one vertical cut and one horizontal cut) on his back.
Yamoto’s clothing is that of a normal shinigami. He wears a traditional Shihakushō (a white shitagi, a black kosode, a black hakama, a white hakama-himo, white tabi, and waraji) however Yamoto wears a sleeveless kosode and will occasionally substitute the hakama for black pants depending on a mission. The captain also wears a black fingerless glove with a blue sapphire embroidered into the fabric on his left hand.
Being the captain of squad 5 Yamoto also wears the captain’s haori with the symbol for squad 5 on the back. Yamoto drapes the haori over his shoulders in the same manner of Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.
Personality
Yamoto is friendly to most people. The only time he dislikes anyone is when he or she boast about power or they are disrespectful to anyone at all. Yamoto is also a kind teacher encouraging his student to try until they got it. On the battlefield, Yamoto is a completely different person. He enjoys any type of pain and usually laughs when he is cut or his opponent is damaged. In recent days, Yamoto has been trying to get away from that style of fight to save himself from being physical harmed.

Biography/History
Yamoto had always lived in the soul society. The first memory he had was him waking up on the street of district 80 of the Rukongai. He was not but a boy of four when this happened, and being a boy of four he had no idea where the hell he was or what the hell was going on. He sat in the same spot for what felt like three days crying and wishing somebody would help him. He was about to give up all hope when he heard laughing, and slowly he looked up to see quite possibly the most frightening man he has ever seen in his life. The man wore a strange uniform that Yamoto had never seen in his life before. The young boy was fascinated by this uniform and spent a entire year searching for more like the man who had simply laughed at the young Yamoto. One day the young boy came across a large wall with many guards in the same uniform as the one he had seen many moons ago. The boy glared at them, but then something unusual happened, the wall Yamoto was standing in front suddenly exploded. The young boy was shocked and so were the the men guarding the wall. No one seemed to know where the explosion had come from, but a voice suddenly came from behind Yamoto. It was the man who the young boy had seen when he had first arrived in this strange world. The man quickly explained that the explosion had come from Yamoto going so far to say that the young boy had spiritual pressure to rival a 9th seat. The boy was quickly enrolled in what was known as the shinigami academy. He spent over 5 years perfecting the basics of the shinigami life style until he as enlisted into squad 9. The boy’s talents earned him the title as vice captain, but soon after the celebration the captain of squad 9 betrayed the entire soul society by joining the enemy known as the arrancar. The betrayal caused Yamoto to panic thinking that the rest of squad 9 would betray the placed he had come to know and love. His paranoia got the best of him causing him to massacre his entire squad in a single night. Yamoto was taken in to custody by the shinigami task force and was tried for betrayal. He was let go when the news on the true betrayal of the captain reached the upper ranks of the shinigami. Yamoto was reassigned to squad 11 and demoted to 5th seat. He soon was able to rise up to the rank of third seat when there was a massive change of power in the Gotei 13. Yamoto was offered the rank of vice captain of squad 7 in this shift of power and took the position because the captain was a friend of his. However Yamoto was starting to feel the side effects of one of his techniques he had acquired during his training. The illness was causing his blood to solidify inside his body giving Yamoto only a few short months to live. The shinigami was not found of death, so he took a step to prevent it. Yamoto sealed most of his power inside a young boy he had found one day walking the street of the Rukongai. Yamoto knew the boy would have to be able to come in contact with his own soul for the seal to be broken allowing Yamoto’s powers to be released once again, so the shinigami enrolled the young boy into the academy. Soon after this Yamoto body gave out and the veteran shinigami died. A year after this the boy who Yamoto had sealed his powers into found his way into his zanpakuto spirit realm. This automatically caused the seal to break releasing Yamoto’s powers into the spirit realm of the boy. Due to the immense difference in power levels Yamoto spirit was quickly able to take over control of the boy soul causing the boy to die but allowing Yamoto to regain life. The now reborn shinigami woke up to find his physical appearance had changed dramatically due to the hostile takeover of the soul. His original hair color which was black was now a brilliant shade of white. His eyes which had been black as well had turned a sky blue. Yamoto also noted that his body was was more aged than he had remembered, but came to the conclusion that it was due to the choas he had caused inside his soul. The shinigami took a few days to get used to being alive again, but soon found out that there was a massive invasion going on in the Seretei. He immediately rushed into to battle in order to aid his comrades. For his valiant efforts in the fight Yamoto was promoted to captain of squad 5 due to his knack for the kido arts. Yamoto has lived quietly since the promotion spending most of his training younger shinigami rather than fighting. He was blending in fine until the higher ups ordered a review of all captains. The higher found something strange in Yamoto records and called for a trial of the squad 5 captain. It came to pass that captain’s zanpakuto was deemed to powerful for any shinigami to have and was destroyed. Yamoto was allowed to keep his captains position due his impressive record of service to the soul society. Yamoto soon began to research in ways he could acquire another zanpakuto, and after much time found a way to pull it off. Yamoto now with zanpakuto in hand continues his job of protecting the soul society and running squad 5.
