Returning with news of the baby's arrival! On Friday, I went in at 8 in the morning for a NST and ended up staying in the hospital all day. Doctors were worried about the fact that I had a low percentage of amniotic fluid and how small the baby was, so after four hours of non-responsive NST's they decided that I would be delivering the baby that day through c-section.
So at 5:11pm on May 29, 2009 Ezequiel Lee was born. The little champ weighed in at 5lbs 2oz, and was 18 inches long.
Pictures soon to come!!

Awwww congratulations FreeYourSoul!! You're all looking great, and I'm glad you and he are doing well, despite the unplanned c-section! Do they know now why you had low fluids and he wasn't responding in the NST? I'm getting weekly NST's now and only have one left before next week's c-section. At my last they said my fluids were borderline low, so I'm to rest on my side more and drink more fluids to try to help it go back up.

lunashock Oh my goodness, congrats!! Your kids are so beautiful, and I love the little hat! heart Me too, that's what else I was going to say and forgot, the knitted hat reminds me of one Amber got in the NICU, knitted by some women and donated to the NICU babies, and I'm so glad we got to keep it, and a nice knitted pastel blanket.

Thank you everyone! It's taking some getting used to having to wake up at night again for feedings, but the little guy is doing great.
It seems strange that he didn't respond to the NST considering I had one two days before the C-section and it was perfectly normal. They didn't tell me anything regarding why my fluids were so low or why he wasn't responding, though they did tell me that it didn't seem that he was gaining any weight. I was actually supposed to be induced on the Monday right after the weekend but when they did the ultrasound and saw how low my fluids actually were, they decided they didn't want to put any stress on the baby.
The hat and blanket were actually donated to the hospital and I think all the babies that were delivered that weekend received one. I wrap him up in the blanket and cover his little head with the hat all the time. They're very warm.

I forgot to make this reply in the other thread where you spoke of how his big brother likes to cover him with his blanket and try to put his socks on, even though he can hardly put his own socks on. Your talk of blankets reminded me! That's so cute, I can totally picture them doing that!
