a guy is paying me to make a "metal" looking mushroom, this is best i got User Image

he wants it for a tattoo, when i showed him this, he said, "nah, more metal, like this band *forget name", so i google the name and the first pic i get is of 1/2 a human corples hanging from a hook =.=;;;
so, how to grung-ify this mushroom, anyone?

Maybe turn the spots into skulls or ditch the spot concept and make them spikes. A lot of metal artists heavily line their eyes with black makeup.

Look up Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir. He always has black makeup on around his eyes and sometimes elsewhere on his face.

Piercings, 'darkness'.. Think 'loud and angry'.
