After a brief but terrifying car ride, Bree finds herself being ushered into Gibsons' house.
As she expected, it's ruthlessly neat and utilitarian, but with a surprising warmth that suggests a deeper attachment than a soldier's bachelor pad.
The various displays of weapons and accolades are also something of a comfort.

Make yourself at home. There's beer and bottled water in the fridge and I can order take out if you're hungry.

"Take out....?" There's that cute quizzical look again. "What's that?"

*Smiling, Gibson picks up the phone.* Food on demand. Has Stitch or anyone else introduced you to the wonders of "Pizza" yet?

We're gonna have to fix that then. *Gibson dials a number on the phone and orders something called a "large double cheese", and gives them the address.* Now we just sit back, and the food gets delivered to us.

Bree tilts her head to one side.
"Interesting. You had me at cheese. I like cheese. And potatoes. And fish. And fruit. And poultry. And steak, when I can afford it."

*Gibson chuckles* I think you can get just about any of those on pizza. We'll start with just cheese though, see how you like it first.

The pizza, when it arrives, is met with ringing approval by a hungry Landwalker. She settles herself on Gibson's couch, barefoot and wrapped in her big frumpy brown sweater, happily devouring one slice after another. What's even more adorable is that when Gibson leaves her watching television while he goes to make a few phone calls, she somehow finds a channel playing Bugs Bunny cartoons and soon dissolves into a mass of giggles.

She's fine, McGinn. She was pretty shaken up before, but I think she's gonna be okay. She's currently acquainting herself with more of our strange earth customs.
How fast can you get over here? Good. We'll talk then.

Bree is nibbling on some pizza-bones dunked in garlic sauce when Gibson returns to the living room.
"Everything all right?"

Yeah, everyone's fine. McGinn and Alice found some new information from Leverage's files. They're on their way over to brief us.

"Oh good." She takes the beer he hands to her and sips, pondering whether or not it's a good idea to get good and drunk tonight.

*Aside from making a mental note to keep an eye on her if she decides to get tanked, Gibson leaves Bree to her own devices and keeps the conversation light and small until McGinn and Alice arrive. They both look concerned, but it's Alice who glomps Bree and hugs her tightly.* Are you okay? I was so worried! Gibson was a little sketchy on the details.
She didn't want to talk about it, so I didn't ask any further.
