Bloody brilliant if i must be the first to say!

Though the second book in the series goes back to present day, so i kinda skipped it sweatdrop

If you like your ancient fiction, or if your interested in egyptology, then these are definitely the books to read!

Heres my personal ratings/short reviews on the 3 out of 4 i read.

River God - 10/10, Absolutely amazing, i was stuck to every page out of the 700 that were there. You fall in love with the characters, you come to tears if they perish, and you just HAVE to read on once its finished!

Warlock - 8/10 - Definitely not as amazing as River God, but its still an awesome read, if not a slightly slower one. It goes forward a generation or two at the beginning so your left feeling a little confused at first, but as new characters come into play along with the main character Taita from book 1, you soon get into it and the suspension inside keeps you going till the very last page!

The Quest - 9.5/10 - The quest made up for the slow read that was Warlock, it turns to fantasy on some points, with mention of ancient gods and plague's, whilst keeping the main story going. Taita still has a place in my heart and i was truly sad to finish reading it, i just hope there is a 5th in the series.

Please, Please, PLEASE read these books if you get chance, I haven't found anybody to talk to about them as of yet emo
