Ken laughed and tugged on Abha's arm lightly, signaling for her to slow down once they were a few blocks away form the store. "Anywhere, eh?" Ken smirked to himself, he felt at ease with Abha, when usually he was uptight and nervous around any girl he went out with. Perhaps it was because she was wearing just as little clothing as he was? He felt even more naked without his scarf, though. Ah well, he had to admit it did look better on her, and now at least she was wearing something.

"Hmm...Well, I know this quiet Mom and Pop place, if you like that sort of thing?" He looked at her and smiled. He liked to go to those kinds of places when he was by himself, which these days was seldom, because they gave him that 'Homey' feel that he couldn't get at the house due to overcrowding. Also, all in all, it had some of the best food a person would find.

Nodding, Abha smiled up at him. His bright, shining violet eyes looked down at her, and seemed to be penetrating into her heart. He was doing everything right - his smile, his scarf, even the simplest of movements was just perfect. It also helped greatly that he was wearing close to nothing, too. It was nice to be standing next to someone just as exposed as she was for once.

Eyes widening enthusiastically, Abha quickly nodded. "That sounds perfect! I've always loved those places - they feel so like home! And I've never really had one, so it's always been great..." Blushing, she looked down and intertwined her fingers in his. It felt good - tp be able to do this, and not be embarrassed for having feelings for another being.

Ken nodded, "Then there we'll go" He looked towards the road ahead of him and looked for a sign, "Let's see..." His eyes narrowed as he looked for something that would tell him how to get to the diner. "Ah! There we are. Just a couple more blocks" Ken looked at Abha, gently rubbed the back of her thumb and gave her a quick smile. He felt like he was smiling a bit much these today.

They walked on until they reached a small, square wooden restaurant. Ken looked at Abha and tilted his head towards the door, "Ready to go in?"

Abha blushed furiously and he rubbed her thumb. Because she was flirtacious most believed that Abha was what many would call "experienced." Though, in fact, this wasn't true - Abha was flirtacious, but in no way promiscuous. But she believed no one needed to know this - perhaps it gave her a reputation, but whatever. She wasn't one to dwell on the views of others.

Abha nodded quickly. "It looks nice," she said with a smile. It really did - it was just the place she'd choose for a first date. Not all mushy romantic, and not all alone. Just perfect, because that's what this was - a first date. 'Right?'

Ken saw Abha blush and subtly raised an eyebrow to himself, 'Wasn't she the one that want to go up to the attic?' He smiled softly and repressed a chuckle before walking up to the wooden entrance.

Something stopped him from turning the knob and he frowned. Ken looked back at Abha and tapped the poster on the glass window, 'No Pants, No Service'

Abha stood in wonderment at the sign Ken had just tapped. It wasn't the good type of wonderment, either. Like staring at another Tem that had a hot body. It was the bad kind. "You have got to be kidding me." Abha looked up at him, now depressed. "The only way this can suck even more is if it starts raining, or you force me to tell you about why I'm hated so much."

Just then, thunder rolled in the distance, and Abha groaned. "Any other ideas?" She knew her past, even her recent past, would sound horrible to any guy. Perhaps, any girl. She had told Ken earlier she'd tell him about why she felt unwelcome, but she really didn't want to. Digging up old wounds was something Abha hated to do - usually ended up in feelings hurt, and her bawling. Which was never good.

Ken looked at the sky then smiled lightly, though not in the mocking kind of way. "Actually, I do" Ken stepped over to Abha and unwrapped the scarf, "Please excuse me for this" As he said this, Ken leaned forward and wrapped the scarf around her waist and knotted it together. "There we go, now you have pants. Well..it's a skirt, but it should do" He laughed and scratched his cheek and opened the door, "Madam?"

He had decided to ignore the part about her past. She seemed really uncomfortable whenever anything near the subject was mentioned. Ever though she said she'd tell him, he could tell she was very reluctant. If she didn't want to tell him, He wouldn't push her.

Abha blushed furiously as Ken unwraveled the scarf from around her neck and placed it gingerly over her hips. She found it uncomfortable - his close proximity to a place no one had ever been so near before. It wasn't an uncomfortable feeling, just... new. Abha smiled and nodded, then pranced through the door. "Thank you, kind sir," she replied with a giggle. He was just too cute. He was attractive, but it was strange. He was different than everyone else - very different. And she liked it. A lot.

Ken chuckled and closed the door after her and waved to the cashier that greeted them when they entered. The blue tem grabbed a chair at the nearest table, next to the window, and pulled it out for the femme. As he did, he looked around. There were three or four people in the diner, one couple and one male sitting by himself eating a piece of pie. He liked that it was quiet and not so crowded, but that it also wasn't completely empty.

As she sat, he went around the other side of the table and sat down himself, "Hmm...If you don't mind, may I ask a question?" Ken looked at her softly, he was wondering was she was behaving so...shyly when she seemed to be more bold back at the store.

Abha smiles at him, then sat down in the chair. "You're so... sweet," she said softly, realizing how true it was. All the other guys, save for Enkeli, ended up being jerks. Other than her father, of course, they were all terrible people. Whether or not they were kind to others, Abha didn't care. They weren't nice to her - and that was terrible enough.

Closing her eyes for a split second, Abha nodded. "Ask away," she said almost reluctantly. She was now curious as to what he was going to ask - he seemed like the really thoughtful type, so it was bound to be something interesting.

Ken looked at her and tilted his head slightly as he shifted in his chair. "You're....You're not really used to the type of thing, are you?" He said, trying to word it in the best way possible for her. He didn't want to push her too hard or surprise her.

A waitress drifted over to their table at that second, which he thought was a good thing because it gave her some time to think.

"What would you kids like?" asked the old-fashioned waitress

"I'd like toast and eggs please...Abha, have you decided?", Ken looked at her and smiled lightly.

Looking down at the table she now sat in front of, Abha shook her head slowly. "If by "this type of thing" you mean you being... nice, and not taking advantage of me... no, I'm... not used to it." It wasn't a question she expected - she was preparing herself to answer something about being hated so much, or not having clothes, but nothing about... her feelings.

Forcing a smile, Abha looked up at the waitress. "I'll..." she glanced down quickly at the menu before deciding to answer, "have what he's having, thank you." When she looked over at Ken she noticed that he was also looking back at her, and she immediately averted her eyes and blushed. He was too sweet - nothing like anyone else she had ever met, even recently. Anthony was one who liked to lie and betray, and Reis... well, Reis had hit her, and that was enough. Loopy was Anthony and Reis' crony, so it was basically a lose-lose-lose situation for Abha.

Ken's ear twitch at her statement, "You're not used to people being nice to you?" He asked once the waitress had left. "Well thats.......well that's just plain horrible" He shook his head, "No better word to describe it. No wait, there is a better word. It's Ungodly." Ken leaned back in his chair and looked her over, "Doesn't anyone know that it's just wrong to treat a lady, and such a beautiful one at that, so harshly?"

He leaned forward again and touched her cheek lightly, "Who would do such a rotten thing?" He looked at her with caring, almost sad, dark violet eyes and moved a piece of her hair back. "They must have been some wretched people."

Shaking her head lightly, Abha looked up at him once more. Her voice was barely more than a whisper, almost to the point of cracking. Talking about her past, even in an obscure way such as this, always got to her, no matter how comfortable she was with those she was speaking to. Blushing, Abha smiled. "Th-thank you," she said, thinking about how just weeks ago she had been slapped. Terrible indeed.

Abha was about to nod, but when he started to touch her face it grew hot, and she found herself unable to move. "Yes, they w-were..." she was unable to speak any more than those few words. She was anticipating a kiss - guys usually touched a girls face and hair before moving in, right? But looking at him, she wondered if Ken was really the type of guy to do that. His large, deep violet-colored eyes were filled with a sort of sadness she was unable to ignore, which made her wonder how much he actually knew about her past. What would he say if he knew... all of it?

Ken nodded and leaned back to his sitting position just as the food came. He looked down and poked one of the eggs with his fork, "So, may I ask. Why is it that those people disliked you so much?" He looked up for a moment and looked at her, "You don't have to tell me if it's too uncomfortable though" He noted, smiling, and went back to his food.

He really liked Abha and his didn't want to scare her away, but he did want to know more about her. He wasn't really the type to go out with someone he barely knew. But he knew that she was actually a really sweet girl who wasn't used to this type of thing, nor did she liked to talk about her past which made him think that something horrible must have happened to her.
